This is belated but Im coming back to it because of the exceptional service rendered. I had the pleasure of working with technician Kyle Ryan on an issue with our 3rd floor baseboard heating in our home. Ryan ran the diagnostics and when a leak from the test emerged he stayed until the job was done. I couldnt recommend Maitz and Ryan in particular more; thank you for your professionalism and willingness to walk us through what was happening and what our options are. We definitely will call Maitz again; the high rating on Google is well-deserved and I hope Ryan is available when we do!

Absolutely wonderful people to work with! Steve W. The electrician did a fantastic and thorough job. Scott Tobias was so knowledgeable and explained the whole process, every step of the way. We just bought our first home and are so thankful that the first service people that we have welcomed into our home were Steve and Scott. My water heater stopped working and they were able to send a plumber out the same day. When Lyle arrived he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He provided several reasonable water heater replacement quotes and actually stayed until 8pm on a Friday to make sure the job was completed. We are extremely happy with the quality work that was done and would definitely recommend.

Ive used Maitz for years because they show up on time and do the work correctly. I was moved to write a review to praise Steve Weisbrod for electrical work he performed in our home and for finding a solution to a problem we have had for 8 years! Ill be requesting him again to complete more projects in our aging home.

I had Maitz come to repair AC that had ceased to work during the first heatwave of the season. The service team was friendly and efficient. They were extremely professional. They used boots in the house and were very respectful of the property. They patiently explained the issues and made me feel at ease that I was making the best decision for the repair. The items were on their truck and they were able to diagnose and repair the issue in under an hour.

My technician, Audie, was absolutely perfect. He explained everything about my older system, noted it was still in great condition, then gave me a set of 4 recommendations he had compiled. He was able to complete the work that same day to ensure my system continued running as well as possible, and he was professional and courteous. I can’t recommend Maitz enough

Schedule appointment. They called and canceled. Rescheduled for today at 5pm. They never showed. Called their customer service and was told I had canceled my appointment. I had no communication with them . Very disorganized company. Their customer care had no empathy for the situation. Will Try to find a reputable company.

First time using Maitz Home Services but wont be the last. My technician Kyle Ryan effectively diagnosed the issue with my heating system (broken air eliminator), took the time to explain the issue, and gave me some options before getting the job done. Plumbing is not my expertise but Ryan answered my questions patiently and professionally. I view myself as a steward of my house, parts of which are over 200 years old. When someone comes and shows my home the respect it deserves, Im a happy camper. Maitz did just and on short notice. Thanks again.

Since buying our first home several months ago, several details that slipped through cracks have popped up.When our central air system was on the fritz and when we had salt deposits in the catch basin of our refrigerator, we called Maitz up- and they promptly have sorted out our issues and have the keen eye needed to point out the problems before they start.Huge shout out to Lyle today for his expertise and professionalism- he got us a great deal on a regenerative carbon filter for the house and replaced our (very) old water softener with a sweet new setup tailored to our home and needs. They also took away the defunct unit- so glad to see that dinosaur gone!The Maitz team always treats our space with the utmost of respect and their technicians are some of the most outgoing, kindest folks weve had the pleasure to work with.You guys always go five steps further than expected, and were so pleased to have found such a wonderful business with so much talent on call.Thank you!

From the time Lyle arrived until the work was complete I was very impressed. The professionalism, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff is impeccable. Lyle made sure I completely understood the work to be done. Payment was easy. I honestly wouldnt even know that the guys who completed their work were here. We have a maintenance agreement them and have had it for several years now. So, when they told us that our Heating Unit (furnace) will likely breakdown in a few years, we decided to be proactive. We signed the deed and was promise a late July Unit delivery. The delivery was early, you think that would be a plus right? They came to install half the system the Central Air Unit and then realized that the Heating system was bent in corners for no explanation! So, they said in good faith they wouldnt wan to install it, thats fine, when will we be able to get another unit? In a couple of weeks! That was June, it is now September 2021 and we still havent receivied our unit that we have started paying for and still DONT HAVE! Weve been calling and getting the run around, or their going to pass the information to next person in charge! The weather is slowly changing to cooler nights and cold mornings and we wont have any heat!I suggest you think twice before using their services! And yes, we still havent heard anything and it is now Friiday, September 3, 2021

I had a service contract for 18 months with Maitz after having them install a new water softener system in my home. Initially they were pretty responsive with their service calls to my home although their prices were unreasonably high. One month ago they came out to do a spring tuneup on my central air system. At that time it was determined that I needed two parts and that I needed a small charge of R22 refrigerant. The tech and I agreed that I would order the parts and Maitz would come back out and install them once the parts arrived. The parts came in and I setup an appointment with Maitz to come out on May 8th to install them and add the refrigerant. After waiting around all day for them they never showed. The dispatcher called me and apologized and rescheduled me for today May 16th. They didn’t show up today either. When the tech and I spoke he said that “Maitz no longer will add R22 refrigerant and they no longer install customer purchased parts”. I WAS AND AM LIVID!! I said to him that you can’t be serious. Clearly Maitz has degenerated into a company that does not keep its word, its appointments and doesn’t care about their reputation out here. This may have been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your time and especially your money with these guys. They don’t care 💯. UPDATE 5/27/2021. Disregard the response from Maitz below saying that they would contact me in regards to this, blah blah blah. No one ever contacted me to make this right. As a matter of fact, I have called them twice already to make sure that my service contract with them has been terminated and I’m still waiting for confirmation on that. These guys are the worst. Overpriced and under performed. Stay far away from these guys. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I used Maitz for over 10 years, purchased furnace and central though them with 10 warranty, also had a contract with them for Bi-yearly services for $30 a month. At our last service 4/22, the tech told me my AC unit coil was corroded, there was also a hole in it. He asked if we had a warranty, and we did but of course it expired 15 days prior. I asked the tech why no one else ever said anything before it got to this point, and he said he did not know, and it takes time for it to get to this point. I asked to speak to his boss. I got a call from Chris 4/26, first they blamed my dogs, (my dogs dont lift to urinate, the last dog I had that did passed 5 years prior), then the story changed to rock salt, we dont salt our back yard, he continued with excuses. He wanted to see a picture, there tech took one at time of visit, Chris said he would look at it and give me a call back. I never got a return call, 5/10/21 I finally got a hold of Chris, it was same excuses. My complaint is, if it was do to dog urine, the coil was corroding for over 5 years, becoming worse and not 1 tech said anything before we got to the point of a hole in it. We paid a monthly bill for services that were not rendered. Now they want $3,700.00 for a new system saying dog urine wouldnt be covered by the warranty anyway, but they blamed it on other factors. He still used different excuses. I told him I was going to contact the BBB, and he said he was going to speak to his boss and call me at 4pm 5/11/21. Its now 5/24/21, I never received a call.$11,000.00 for a furnace and ac unit$3,600.00 in monthly serviceCant return phone calls????Poor customer service, poor work quality.After 10 years, no longer a customer!!BEWARERachel Stoudt

I stand on my previous post with regard to five-stars being easy to give. Maitz is the place I chose to service the electrical, plumbing and heating systems in my home. Alex checked those systems and equipment today. His report left me with a great level of comfort as he detailed potential issues to watch for and gave me prices for full replacement of equipment when that is necessary. Alex was knowledgeable and had answers for all my questions. Plus he was professional, and courteous! Excellent customer service!

Joe did a cleaning and seasonal check-up of the furnace and oil tank. Was very thorough and informative! Maitz has always given us great service!! Their service employees are very knowledgeable of their jobs! Thank you so much!

Excellent service by Audie. He was able to diagnose problem, which another company was unable to do. He took the time to explain all the blinkie lights to me and didnt seem to get annoyed with all my questions. I will ask for him in the future if I have any other issues with my mini split system.

Had my furnace cleaned today. Kyle, the serviceman was absolutely wonderful. He explained everything in detail and was very professional. I needed some additional parts and he took care of that as well. He spent over 6 hours at my house. I would definitely recommend Kyle to anyone using Maitz.Very clean, conscientious and respectful.

Eric was great. All work was done excellently. The only issue I had was a communication issue with the office where they gave us the wrong starting time. But the work was great, and thats what mattered.

Professional. Clean. Friendly. I had an emergency situation. No heat or hot water. They installed a temporary hot water heater until my new system was installed. They replaced my oil heater with gas and installed a water softener. Steve and the guys were as trustworthy bunch. Im sitting comfortable now thanks to you! Service is in your name for a reason.

Kyle from Maitz came out to do the season oil boiler and A/C check up (yes A/C in October that is why its only a four star review, Kyle was five stars). Kyle was super professional and helpful. Following the checkup visit Kyle provided a thorough review of what he found and provided much more detail and value than other checkups we have had in the past. I appreciated that he really seemed to care rather than just getting the work done to move on. Kyle was definitely five stars.

Josh went above and beyond the service and I appreciate it very much. Fixed the loose handicap arm which he re-installed on my toilet after installing the new toilet bowl.Also did the semi-annual maintenance check on my furnace.Maitz Home Services is wonderful and dependable.

Kyle was very professional he introduced himself as from Maitz he put on his shoes covers before entering the house. He answered all my concerns, he also showed me before and after pictures of the work done on my hvac system. I truly thank him for the service him would use him again.

Have been a customer for many years. (12+)..recently had a hot water heater installed. The reason for the install was due to my just finishing my basement. I was not having any problems with the hot water heater, but it was old, so trying to be proactive as knowing my luck, something would happen to it after just spending money on the basement. After the techs left, I noticed damage to my wall that was not there prior. (this wall is not even a month old) After voicing my concerns to the Manager Ken Monaco, he became defensive, accused myself and my contractor of lying and stated to me what do you want me to do about it He did eventually tell me to email him a quote to fix the damages. I will eat the cost to fix the damages but I will no longer do any business with Maitz Home Services which is a shame because up to this point, I was very satisfied with their services. If anything, this will be a lesson to me.

Lyle was very knowledgable, installed things properly, and explained why he did them the way he did. Also very pleased with the turn around time of replacing our water heater!

Joel was my tech, very respectful and professional. Didn’t even make fun of my botched attempt and making the repair myself. Shower piping looked like new when he was finished. Cleaned up his mess too. Definitely recommend having him come again.

We recently had Maitz in for services on two different days. Roberto fixed a leak from our toilet. Lyle did a plumbing review and fixed a sewage trap and water pressure problems. In both cases the service was scheduled in a timely manner and the office staff was very professional and helpful. Roberto was very knowledgeable and professional and I give him a 5 star rating. Lyle did an extremely thorough plumbing inspection. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He answered all our questions and was patient the many times I needed him to repeat things. He had repairs in two different areas. He explained to us before and showed us what was done afterwards. I would definitely give Lyle a five star rating. We have used Maitz for years and have recommended them to family and friends. Both gentlemen were very mindful of the social distancing and wearing a mask.

Our recent tech Alex and now Loren, both were very patient and good at breaking down what was happening to our equipment. It turned out to be a simple fix but with his help, we recieved a reasonable quote and all is well until were ready to move to the next step in our project in our basement. They were the first to give me an appointment when we had the big snow and my heater went on us at the worst and coldest week of the year. They were on time, and very professional. Financing was available and approved. We needed a brand new everything! My broiler was 50 years old. They came within a week and installed it in one day. They needed another part and when it came in, they fixed that too. But we still had heat.

Not only was Kai on time, but he was awesome! He was polite and efficient! I will ask for him again!

I had an issue with my ac and someone came out but wasn’t able to fix it. Maitz called me a few days later and asked if they could send another technician at no charge to offer me a second opinion. The man they sent out to take another look was knowledgeable, fair and honest. I felt confident that any advice he gave me was purely sincere. I really was surprised to find such traits since as a single woman I’m often taken advantage of. Much respect to this company for their efforts on behalf of their customers. And many thanks to the tech that came out!

The technician Loren was prompt for our regular plumbing and electrical inspection. He completed the inspection in a thorough, timely and courteous fashion. He also uncovered one code issue that I forgot to address, so we were able to get that done. Also very happy he wore his mask and gloves for the entire time he was in our house and practiced social distancing. Would definitely recommend them!

Mr. Roberto Ramirez is a skilled plumber PLUS. The job was a familiar one for him, but the space was difficult to access. However, he had no problem with that and he replaced the leaky pipe and faucet with a much better system. His genuinely cheerful personality and his professionalism put us at ease and gave us confidence in his abilities. Job well done!

After a bad experience with another plumber it was refreshing to have someone show up, do a good job and get the job done. Roberto explained everything, gave multiple estimates and was very nice. Will use again for sure.

Big shout out to Matt from Maitz for his work yesterday. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I called because our central air unit stopped working. Matt arrived within hours and did an inspection and figured out what the problem was. He had to replace some parts in the outdoor unit, and had to leave and go to the warehouse to get them. Unfortunately, one of the parts was out of stock. But he still drove back to tell me, and ALSO took a look and fixed our broken downstairs bathroom toilet. I thought I would need a separate call but he offered to help since he was already here. After fixing the toilet, I told him we had a 1 year old and were concerned about his room being 80 degrees with no A/C until the next day. Matt went back outside, essentially took the unit apart and put it back together and got it working again temporarily. He could have easily said hed be back tomorrow, but went out of his way to help us out. Finally - he double checked our warranty to confirm that both parts and labor were covered (not just parts). He could have ripped us off for an extra 300 bucks but double checked the records and came back and told me we were covered.He went above and beyond in 3 different categories. Thank you Matt! We appreciate it very much.

Maitz to the rescue - needed our central air replaced because it completely gave out on us. Working with Maitz was a good experience from start to finish. Matt came out right away for an estimate and provided me with several solutions in different price ranges. Dave T. and Joe handled the installation and got us back up and running. All staff we interacted with were professional and personable. We are very happy to be enjoying cool air in our home again.

Maitz has been servicing us since 2010, and we wouldnt trust anyone but Maitz with our complicated Geothermal System. They have keep us running through many water issues. Audie is a genius with all systems and always does a great job. Very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Give him a raise!! Josh also did a great job replacing the hot water heater 2 weeks ago after much flooding, he also deserves a raise!

Josh is great. He is thorough. He takes the time to explain whats going on in words you can understand. He fixes the problem like he would do it in his own house.

Audie came out early this morning to fix our air conditioning. We are super relieved to have it working again. He went above and beyond to explain the process to us and went out of his way to review some of the features of our new house and systems with us. The technician came to diagnose and offer a price quote and when I decided not to take his extremely over priced service he had a fit and walked out without putting things back the way it was. I had to call the office to get him back to clean up his mess. Very unprofessional. I will won’t recommend nor use their service again.

Maitz employee Alex first came to do an inspection of our HVAC system in the attic, the mini split on the lower level, our plumbing, water heater, home water filtration system and our electric breaker box. When he found some issues, he personally came back to make the repairs we wanted. He wore a mask, was extremely courteous, cleaned up afterwards, and best of all - he showed us the before and after pictures and explained everything he did. Very professional.

This is the third time we have used Maitz for repairs. Roberto, the plumber, showed up on time. He was professional, pleasant, and took his time answering my questions. He was very conscientious about changing his show covers and wearing a mask the entire time he was here. Roberto was polite and professional, a rarity in the customer service arena these days.

Maitz was able to help us the same day, even after a storm. Loren was a great help today. He was very polite and professional. The leak was fixed quickly and we appreciated the 5 star service. We will continue to use Maitz in the future.

Lyle and his team was great installing a new 80 gallon water tank and water softener in one day. Lyle took the time to explain all the options along with pros and cons of each of the options to allow us to make the best decision. The detailed upfront pricing included all the work that needed to be done without any surprises. The whole installation was done in a day and the team did a great job installing, removing, and cleaning up afterwards. In addition, they took great care to minimize damages to walls and flooring although there was space constraints. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work.

Yesterday was one of the hottest days of the year so far. I discovered our Central Air was dead. I called another company was told 3 weeks to wait... Not acceptable, Called Maitz, they were able to schedule a tech today. Eric D. got our system back up and running. I will use them and recommend them at any time.

Zach came by today to reinstall a dual heating system that had broken down leaving the basement bedroom cold as a tomb. Great guy!! Spent quite some time here, explained everything to me and got my house warm as toast. What a joy to have a warm house during this cold month. Zach was a good technician, warm & friendly. Maitz was quick to respond to my call for service for my air conditioner which had stopped working. Kyle was sent to my home about 2 hours later and provided excellent service. Our AC wasnt working this morning on one of the hottest days of the year. I called Maitz and they had the technician out here in a couple hours. He let me know what he was checking and had the AC back up and running within an hour.The technician was very professional. Im glad I chose Maitz Home Services to come out to look at my drains! They were completely friendly and honest. They explained to me what the problem was with my plumbing and also went in with a camera to see if there was any damage to my pipes. Nothing was wrong so now my pipes are covered under there one year warranty. Great service!

He explained all of the work to be performed and left me feeling comfortable. Today, Lyle and Loren did an amazing job. They fixed a broken hose line and plumbed an entire pool house for me. Every detail of their work was top notch. They made sure everything was done professionally and left in amazing order. When they were done they walked me through everything. Will be using them again soon and would strongly recommend them.

Kyle R. showed up on time for the semi-annual service check-up, and he was prepared with all of the necessary COVID protective equipment which was a relief. Lyle Was very knowledgeable about multiple different aspects of my home. He reviewed the work I wanted to get done and informed me of other things that could use some attention without pressuring me to complete additional things until I was ready. Lyle gave me the worst case scenario just in case and was able to complete the project with the best case outcome instead. I will definitely go back to maitz and especially Lyle again.

Safety check up .Kyle really nice check furnace, hot water heater and electric box.He told me what was wrong that had to get fixed showed me pictures of what was wrong. I would tell friends to use this company.
