Kevin (K-Mac) has been cutting my sons hair for almost 7 years now. He always keeps my son looking fresh!!! My son is very particular on how he likes his hair and Kevin never disappoints Fades, Mow-hawk, Designs, he is your guy!!

We didnt have an appointment but the wait wasnt bad at all. Great environment and Kevin listened to my little guy and cut his hair the way he wanted. Great experience! Thank you!

The services here is great, the Barbers are very friendly, welcoming and me·tic·u·lous. Of course I do have a favorite Mr. K Mac which means appointments are very tight and difficult sometimes. We have three to get haircuts four persons in all. Walk-ins are truly welcome. They specialize in all hair types; and many different cuts and styles. You are welcome to bring your own styles and ideas for your haircuts, styles, designs, etc. Drop in anytime check out their website for opening hours and or call to schedule an appointment. I always go here to get my haircut and it is always outstanding! i always decide to get a bald fade for me and my brother and the barbers never disappoint. they make conversation rather than making it feel like business. everyone in there is so friendly and its just a good environment in general.

Expensive but they have very good barbers

Very first haircut from JD was excellent. Second time I visited (walk-in), JD wasn’t available and I needed a cut so I let the owner cut me. Asked for a drop fade and he almost gave me a bald fade. He totally disregarded what was already on my head and proceeded to cut what he thought was a drop. Once he finished and I looked in the mirror, the dispute begin with him defending what he thought was a drop fade. He tried to go over to the examples but they didn’t match up, ultimately resulting in him putting his foot in his mouth. He refused to void the cost of the cut until I raised hell in his shop. Fast forward I set a few more appointments with JD and out of 5x I’ve been back I may have been satisfied with 2 of the results. He got extremely inconsistent and did not take direction well on the very last cut I got. I asked him to be careful with trimming the very top of my head and get out of the chair to a bald spot and a flat top. The guy next to him fixed it for free, I recommend him. He has a pic of his son racing dirt bikes on his counter. Everybody else I can’t really speak for but I’m done with this location. Too many bad encounters.

This is a fantastic barbershop! I was searching for a barbershop for my son in Allen and stumbled upon Krossover, Kevin cuts my sons hair and always does an amazing job. This is not your typical barbershop where a female would cringe at the thought of stepping into it. There is no inappropriate barbershop talk going on here all the barbers are respectable and friendly. They have also done a great job of welcoming all types of people..black, white, Hispanic, Asian you name it Ive seen it all and its amazing they are focused on servicing all people instead of the ones that just look like them.

The hair cut I got was just okay but definitely not worth waiting over an hour. I even called before heading over there to see if I could make an appointment but the person who answered the phone protested and said they have 9 cutters which I have no idea what that means because I dont know how long a cutter spends with each client. What was more enraging was to see people who came after me walk in and go straight to a chair because they had appointments. I was like are you freaking kidding me!? I was livid. Eventually, I got called and the gentleman who cut my hair was great. Except for the fact that he shaved me dry and gave me a couple of razor burns. They werent too obvious but it was just pouring gas on fire at this point because I felt like no body was trying to build a relationship with anyone waiting. The cutters were too busy chatting it up with themselves instead of taking the time to make frequent contacts with people waiting. I would consider trying to go back again but only if I can schedule an appointment. The haircuts are decent but the customer service is very cold and unwelcoming.

I enjoyed the experience at Krossover Barbershop! Barber JD was very patient and friendly with my 13 month old son. He did a wonderful job trimming my sons little afro. I highly recommend this barbershop to families in surrounding areas!

Ive been going to Kevin @ Krossover Barbershop for about 3 months.  As a female with a bald fade, I prefer a cut that still makes me look feminine & Kevin comes thru ALL THE TIME. I say he is an artist rather than just a barber, because he is patient, professional, meticulous, and creative. I have thinning areas that Im insecure about & he cuts it isnt obvious. He consistently gives me what I want without me saying anything. I swear the last cut he gave me...I felt both of his hands cutting and edging at the same time! No joke. When Im asked who cuts my hair. I confidently say Kevin who keeps me Krispy (that means ones unique swag/style.)  The shop overall is filled with talented barbers who cut ALL hair types. Its professional enough to keep you laughing and entertained all the while being mindful of children. Check em out. You wont be disappointed.

Very disappointed. It was my first (and last) time there. The barber didnt introduce himself. He rushed through me, did an extremely unsatisfactory job and charged me am outrageous amount.The place seems nice, other barbers seem very relaxed and comfortable with each other and with their customers.

Called and spoke with ‘G’ wanting to charge a whopping $30 for haircut and $15 for my son, I tried to negotiate down to $25 because I want a simple trip on my beard and he hung up after I said ‘I’ll go somewhere else’. No customer service whatsoever! Take your money elsewhere and pass on these clowns charging rubies for a damn haircut. 0 stars.

Being new to town, it is disappointing when you come to a black-owned barbershop to wait for an inoridinate amount of time and you end up with a cut that simply isnt worth the wait and never worth your time. Go somewhere else if you want to go to a business actually run as one.
