DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO REPAIR YOUR APPLIANCES! When the service tech asks the homeowner if they have the Kitchen Aid dishwasher repair manual... so that he can look up how to run a diagnostic, AFTER he says I dont have an hour to wait around to diagnose this and watch it run, RUN!!!! And if SEARS Home Warranty scheduled them, CALL THEM BACK and get someone else.Person actually stormed OFF when we said no, we dont have the manual, shouldnt you know how to do that, and he said you cant expect me to know everything like that. And he said, find someone else. So aside from the muddy footprints, not respecting my property, arrogant attitude and total incompetence, they are lucky they havent been sued, yet.

Home Depot scheduled them to do my warrantied repairs on my refrigerator. They showed up within the 3 hour window they gave me and sent me a website to track how far away the repairman was. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Fixed my issue. Was in and out in 30 minutes.

Zero stars if I could. Scheduled through a warranty company for a Wednesday and confirmed with their customer rep, followed by a confirmation text. When the repairman didnt show up I called and was told the appointment was never scheduled for Wednesday but the following Monday, 5 days out. When asked why I was then sent a confirmation text, the rep stood firm in that the appointment was never really scheduled for Wednesday. I called the warranty company and got the repair changed to a different vendor. No wonder they are so lowly regarded in customer reviews.

My dishwasher was suffering from an issue where it continuously restarts when running a cycle - thus never ending a cycle. I had an extended warranty and the warranty company engaged this outfit to come out and do the repair. Without going into too much detail, the tech came later than the given 3 hour window and only responded after I first called to track down what happened when he didnt show. When the tech did arrive to do the work, he did not debug the unit at all - he simply checked the drain, and replaced a water sensor that he had from some prior repair job. Only after this did he try to reproduce the problem. After watching the unit continuously reset, he decided he had no idea what the issue was and left. All I needed at that point was the repair shop to call my warranty company to indicate that it was either repairable with an estimate or not repairable. This shop instead chose to drag on for another two weeks by lying about scheduling a super tech the next day, or ordering the control board and waiting a week for that part to show up (no, the part was never ordered). These folks appear to be dishonest and do not have their customers best interest at heart. My resolution only came when my warranty company decided to follow up (2 weeks later) and replace the unit. Incompetent and dishonest shop.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST.If you would like to wait for weeks, get into screaming match with customer service then call them. Clark Will promise you everything (timing, call back, parts) and nothing will happen and J will yell at you for disturbing his day to call about your problem and their mistake. They will test the limit of your patience.Absolutely THE worst company EVER.PICK ANYONE ELSE BUT AVOID THIS COMPANY. YOULL THANK ME FOR THIS ADVICE. Trust me.

Don’t use them. When our refrigerator wasn’t working and they said they could come today, we were happy! The repairman clearly didn’t know that the + sign meant to set it for cooler, even though it said ‘cooler’ above the button! He opened the door and looked at the settings on the buttons, and said that we should set it lower! He did not test Freon levels or look at the machinery at all, but just opened the door and looked at the setting. He wrote up a receipt charging us $79 and said we needed Freon which he did not have. A lot of good that would do to save our food products getting warmer by the minute. He said another person would come tomorrow with Freon. We asked how much that would be? He didn’t know the price of the Freon. On the receipt, he spelled Freon frione. Wouldn’t someone who is a professional know how to spell the product?! Why come out to our house to fix a fridge without Freon? I suppose it was to make $79 to drive over and open our fridge door to discover the same thing we already knew. It wasn’t working!

They “mistakenly” charged me a month after the diagnostic was done. Got charged twice on two separate months. Luckily I caught it. I wonder how many other customers have been “mistakenly” charged twice on two separate months.

The five stars reviews are bogus. Theyre written by company employees themselves.*THEY WOULDNT SEND SOMEONE TO REPAIR THE MACHINE UNLESS I REMOVED THE REVIEW. THEY HAD THE PARTS ALREADY BUT WOULDNT SEND SOMEONE UNLESS THEIR DEMANDS WERE MET.***I CHANGED THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND THIS IS FOR WARNING YOU**I called and waited a two weeks for parts and nothing happened.I was promised call back from two employees never heard back from them. I attempted multiple conference calls with insurance and still the incompetence of these employees couldnt resolve the issue.They never apologized or did anything to make up for their mistake. Best of all, reason for the three weeks delay, to quote the company daylight savings.After waiting a week, I was told itll be another week before parts came. (I still havent gotten the appliance fixed).Please do yourself a favor and just pick any other company. Break your appliance, burn your house but dont deal with them.Id rather go to DMV and wait in line everyday than deal with this company. This is not exaggeration, please save yourself and RUN......The process of repairing the washing machine started on Oct 2nd and didnt get resolved and were in December.I am putting up this review after I changed the company.

Horrible service - man wouldnt get out of his truck because he didnt want to pay for parking and I have been battling with our insurance company ever since he put a bogus claim about our washing machine into the system and he never even stepped foot in our house! HORRIBLE COMPANY

No customer service skills, the customer is always wrong. They dont actually fix issues (3rd time dealing with them in 8 weeks). They skip appointments regularly because they overschedule techs then claim that no one answered when they called (no missed call, no voicemail on my end). This is a miss!

I didnt think it was possible to ever deal with a company worse than Comcast, but this company proved me wrong. Avoid this company at ALL COSTS!! They were sent out by my home warranty company to fix our washer. They were unable to fix it, but refused to let my home warranty company know because its seen as a negative that they were unable to repair the washer in the eyes of the home warranty company. I was on the phone with their dispatcher for about 4 hours over several days and it was worse than talking to a brick wall. Completely useless. I wish they had a physical location so I could walk in there and chew someone out to their face. This company is, by far, the worst Ive dealt with in my 36 years on Earth. Keep the one star reviews coming!

We have tried to get our dishwasher repaired under warranty for over 30 days. These people are totally unqualified to fix anything. After three visits on 11/17/2017 they told us it was working but that my husband had installed it wrong and told him to fix some things and then it would be ok (the dishwasher was working fine before the pump died in early October). My husband fixed issues and we attempted to run. It still DID NOT DRAIN. Water leaked from the door (another thing they were supposed to have fixed). These guys are so rude and awful that it was worth it to go out and buy another dishwasher. DONT LET THESE DUDES TOUCH YOU APPLIANCES.

DO NOT EVER USE Tri-StateAppliance repair. Tri-State should TRY a little harder to meet their appointments. Very unreliable! One star is one too many! They gave me a window of 11 - 3. We agreed that they would call my work number 20 minutes out so i could meet them. No calls before i left work so i get home by 1:00 and begin the dreaded wait. At 2pm i call the office and they assure me he will come this afternoon. Hes just running late. At 5pm i call again and they seem surprised that Jay has not arrived. They try calling him (with me on hold for 10 minutes) and tell me that hes not picking up his phone although office assured me that he will show up. Office staff was leaving for day so they provided me his work cell number. I call and left a message explaining that I expect him to honor the appointment. About 6 pm he calls and says he will not be coming. He said he called my work number earlier in the day but decided not to leave message. I asked him how would i know he called since he didnt leave a message. He said it was my fault that i didnt answer the phone. You would think even a moron would know to leave a message and number. Clearly im mad that he didnt show up nor call to let me know he was running late or in this case, let me know that he was canceling the appointment all together and I let him know it! By the end of the call, Jay didnt like my logic & questioning and declined to perform the repair ever which is fine by me. Its crazy in this age with all the cell phones and texting available, a moron like this doesnt answer his work phone for hours to check in with his office.

Worst experience ever....it took them 3 weeks to repair a dryer belt they blamed it on the shipping of the belt from whatever company but I went an purchased the belt on my own told them they still never came they set terrible appointments they gave me 8am to 5pm an never showed up twice the 3rd appointment still didnt call before show they just came after the guy arrived they said he was on they way do not ever use this company in life
