We had an amazing experience with American Restoration! Everyone was super easy to talk and communicate with. Vernon was our Project Manager and he came in, wrote up the estimate, asked all the right questions in order to ensure we got all of our needs were met with the work that needed to be done to our home. He communicated efficiently and in a timely manner. Once it was time for the guys to come in and start the work, we met Andrew and Mike who right away came in, explained to us what they were going to be working on and got to it. They were extremely respectful and easy to talk too! They worked very hard and ensured that they cleaned up any mess they made and left the area looking better then when they came in. The work is now complete and the rooms look beautiful! Andrew and Mike definitely went above and beyond! We discovered a significant mold problem during our kitchen remodel and decided to go with American Restoration based on Google reviews and availability. A tech arrived at our house within two hours of our call on a Saturday. Abner was friendly and knowledgable and was able to put up a temporary containment to allow us to stay in our home until work could begin the following Monday. Elena was assigned as our project manager and she was absolutely amazing throughout every step of the process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer all of our questions. She worked directly with our insurance company and was always available if we needed her. Abners work was top notch – clean and efficient, and he explained each step of the process and what we should expect. The entire process was completed in just a few days, and Elena made sure to help us get a reconstruction team set up before she closed out our file. I would recommend American Restoration to my own friends and family without hesitation.

What can I say… walked into a flooded house and didn’t know what to do. Googled for help and found these fine folks. They were at my house within half an hour and had the water out and drying equipment in all in just a few hours. These folks are super nice and very good at following up daily to check equipment and keeping the homeowner in the loop.If a machine went down, they would have somebody out that same day to get it back up and running.Special shout out to Kyle for being a beast and doing 99.9% of the demo himself! 10/10 would recommend these folks!

Andrew fixed and repaired water damage caused by a roof leak. He was able to match the paint and texture of the rest of the wall exactly. He completed the job quickly and was very good about cleaning up.

We had extensive water damage to our bathroom from a water leak. Everyone is very professional, can not say enough nice things about this company. We had several locations in our house that suffered from water damage due to a leaking roof..Michael and co-worker from American Restoration arrived on site and commenced to do the repairs. I was impressed with the speed and efficiency that they used to do the restoration. We had a flood inside our rental and needed restoration and mold mitigation. We, also, asked them to replace the kitchen vinyl floor. Communication was horrible. The sheet rock work was horrible, ugly. They didn’t replace the board under the sink. The vinyl had huge air pockets and even after having them come out twice, it still wasn’t right. After a year the flooring cracked where the air pockets were. They, also, in their “repairs”, put a staple through the waterline, causing another leak that they refused to repair. I would never recommend this business.

So, it’s taken me awhile to write this review for American Restoration Water and Fire, LLC because the upheaval in our lives has only begun to even out. Where to find the words for this review? it’s still emotional; hard to tell the story. Let me just start by saying how absolutely grateful we are for the professional staff who handled our water loss, which will likely total over $25,000 once the contents portion of the claim is settled.When I arrived at home after work, I was met with several inches of water flowing out of the back door as it was opened. Apparently, a new water line connection had burst behind the washing machine and had run for 10 hours. I don’t think I can express just how devastating of a feeling that is—to see your entire home under water, objects floating throughout the house. There are no words, just emotion. I called my wife to explain, then I called American Restoration and Jenny Valencia answered the telephone. I’m sure she could hear the emotion in my voice as I explained what had happened. She first wanted to know that I was safe— “don’t go in” (of course, I already had) “we’ll be there in 30 minutes. She was right except they were here in 20 minutes, what a relief.First one person, then others showed up—I think 6 more people arrived over the next hour or so from all over Albuquerque. Their staff were broken up into teams—the extraction team and the folks who were packing up (and out) all of our furniture and belongings. They stayed until AFTER MIDNIGHT extracting gallons, upon gallons of water! By the time they left for the evening, they’d placed over 20 fans, multiple (huge) dehumidifiers, and heater units lined the walls to begin the drying out of our home of 11 years.By 7:00am the next day, American Restoration was back in the house. They continued to carefully take more and more furniture, pictures, personal belongings and put them into the garage. Our belongings were either wrapped in plastic or covered with furniture blankets. That day the temperature in the house rose to over 95 degrees—a combination of equipment running, and our forced air heater being turned up. This is the method of drying out the home quickly, so mold won’t grow.After 6 days, our home was dry and ready to be put back together. Over the next couple of weeks, drying holes were filled, new baseboard was ordered, sheet rock installed, paint picked up. Every room needed attention. Our first request was the laundry room! The crew at American Restoration solve that they first day they could get into the house.Over the next 2 to 3 weeks, workers came every day to put our home back together, working 8 to 10-hour days. I will tell you the days were getting pretty long, as we were living and sleeping in a travel trailer in the backyard with our Golden Retriever! We were ready to get back into our house! But, the folks at American Restoration were diligent and completed every task without delay. Restoration Complete!Now, we’re back in our home and things are just about back to normal. You just don’t realize how amazing “normal” is when your home is devastated. But, thanks to the staff at American Restoration we’re back home, safe and sound.Before I close, there are some folks I need to thank. Jenny—thank you for answering the call and your kind, calming words many, many times along the way; Mark—you stopped by on several occasions and offered lots of support to me, personally and guidance to your team; Kimberly—what can I say, you’re awesome, bringing kind words, energy, support, and your wonderful smile into our home! I seen the American Restoration Van parked at my neighbors house... I was concerned maybe I had a black mold problem with water in my home under my water heater. I went to my neighbor house to inquire about services from American Restoration. The man, Joel, who was not on the clock at the time, offered to come and give me a free inspection On his own time.. no charge. He showed me how the water meter worked and the run down of possible mold. My home was dry and no mold. The guy said that the water staining was from a previous leak but since the studs were exposed under the water heater behind the inspection panel he reassured no mold or wetness anywhere. From my experience with this company I would highly recommend them to everybody and anybody I come across. Polite, Respectful, and very knowledgeable. We initially had plumbers come out to solve the problem of a bad smell from under our house. They discovered we had a broken sewage line leaking for the past 3 weeks and building up under our mobile home. They gave me the number of American restoration, who responded that 1st day within the 1st 2 hours to come give us an estimate. Ryan was the man who came and was very friendly and very courteous. We werent using insurance So it was going to hurt the wallet, especially during these times. But Elena was very courteous and very patient and willing to work with me. Along with management as well. They made it out in really good time. Ryan and Rudy were the two workers who showed up at the agreed time. Great guys. They worked hard and fast even tho it was 12 noon and very hot outside,, Rudy cracked a joke about if I had eaten Churches chicken the night before cuz there was corn all over the ground that had leaked thru the sewage and came up. At first thought u would think it came out of us haha but in truth it was there cuz I washed down garbage disposal, haha. It was nice to see they can have a sense of humor while doing a job like that.. They finished quickly and were very professional and I hope I never have to use them again hehe, but if something happens unfortunate, I will certainly call them. I would give them 10 stars if I could because they certainly deserve it. I would post pictures but idk how to lol.

American Restoration helped me out with some water damage in my furnace room. Initially, they were very responsive to my questions, and unlike many businesses in Santa fe, they promptly returned phone calls. After the area was dried out, and the insulation removed, and the soggy wall board cut away, the tech who came out here, Andrew Fresquez, did an amazing job piecing new wallboard back together behind a labyrinth of copper pipes. I was very impressed with his skill with finish work, especially in that cramped complicated situation. I would highly recommend them!

My family went through American restoration after our bathtub cracked and leaked water into our downstairs laundry room. They were quick to make a plan and execute it. Manny and Sage were assigned to our project. They were both very thorough and nice people. Manny worked very hard when he came alone and always worked until the last minute. Beware of American Restoration!! I hired them because of a leak in our bathroom. The project manager named Amanda was absolutely dreadful. My insurance adjuster stated the job should have taken a week, but they were at my home for over a month. Amanda was full of excuses. They had to come and clean the mold more than 3 separate times. When I spoke with supervisor Abner, during his cleaning for the 4th time, he said the previous guys just did not clean to his standards. I had to call for the results nearly a week later because Amanda must have forgot to inform us and she blamed the lab saying they must have forgot to send the results. Keep in mind we had plastic all over our home and they were in no rush. Also, when it was finally near the end of the project, they had not removed a mirror that they contracted to remove and Amandas supervisor Kimberly tired to charge us $75 to return because they had already left the property. Really, they were mad because we did not hire them for the rebuild and why would we? They were dreadful to deal with. Then Kimberly called my phone and left a message threatening to lien our property, when she had not even sent us the bill. This is a terrible company to deal with. I do not do business like this. I try my best to keep my word and give great service, American Restoration does not, they are crooks.

I used American Restoration for resolution of my water damage. They were punctual and a easy to work with. I had the pleasure of having Joel and Nate remediate my problem. Julian and Steven were here drying out our building after a flood. The building houses biology department labs with delicate equipment, delicate organisms and experiments in progress. Joel and Joseph came out to clean the ducts of my HVAC system because mold had been identified in the HVAC air handling units (by someone who had serviced those units last week). Firstly, they were really great about letting me know their ETA (they were a bit delayed because of a longer job with a previous client). It always helps to know what to expect, and to have clear communication. So I appreciated that. They were pleasant and professional. They explained their process to me before starting the work, and gave me a time frame for how long the whole process would take. They worked well and efficiently together. When they finished, they gave me an assessment about the condition of the ducts. I really appreciated the good communication.

He made sure I understood what was going to happen and gave me a strep by step experience. Even though there was a terrible mess in the home, the experience was a very good one. We had an issue with a busted water heater which flooded the kitchen and living room. The operations manager answered my call and was super nice and empathetic. They came out and did and amazing job quickly. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

American Restoration started off great responded semi promptly. Eric who arrived the first day was knowledgeable and helpful. The second day Nikki arrived to check the status but didn’t bring a ladder so she couldn’t check the ceiling but checked the tile and said it was dry. However she then spilled the dehumidifier all over the floor. Third day two different people came and said the tile still wasn’t dry probably because Nikki spilled a gallon or so of water on it and wanted to charge an additional $218.00 to keep one humidifier in place for less than 24 hours.

Joel was professional, respectful, and courteous of our situation. Would highly recommend American Restoration! Also way better than Servpro.

American Restoration is great! They helped me out in an emergency. We had a water situation with a property we didnt own, but were responsible for. Long story. Anyway, no one would help me until I could verify insurance and payment information which I didnt have available quickly under the circumstances. It was sorted out within a few hours. Regardless, American Restoration rushed to the property to help me. Abner arrived at the property before I even got there. Abner is the most professional, patient AND kind person. My mom and my realtor have visited the property and both have remarked how nice he is and confident that hes very capable. Amanda at the office has been a great help as well. Very sweet.

Abner, Eric, and Jessie were great! We had our toilet overflow late on a Tuesday and the crew was quick and responsive to help get the water cleaned up and dry. They did an excellent job in explaining the process and costs to us. The situation wasn’t great because of my elderly parents, but they were so courteous and respectful. They truly made a difficult and frustrating situation easier. I would absolutely use them again in the future and recommend them 100%.

Just had some drywall & paint work completed by Jesus from American Restoration. He was here for 2 mornings exactly on time. He took care to protect bamboo floors, was polite and efficient. I was afraid it would be difficult to get good results but wall is perfect and paint match is exact. American Restoration was great to work with all around. Highly recommend them.

He took extra time to explain the process of working with my specific insurance company, read the paperwork aloud so that there were no misunderstandings, and he even made sure power cords and tubing were almost out of sight. Erik came out to my house with very little notice to inspect water damage in my master bath; my biggest concern was mold. Erics professional assessment with a moisture meter (and, literally crawling under the house to inspect the extent of the damage) and a visual inspection allowed us to rule out any damage to our wood floors that would require a major project. We had an electrical fire in our home. The damage was extensive. We had never experienced a fire. Mark was our first contact. He was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Kimberly and other crew members worked on salvaging, cleaning, and storing our furnishings. They also were professional, and a pleasure to work with. We have gotten to know many others. Fritz, his Dad, Laine, and Reuben worked on the demolition, and restoration. Their framing skills and knowledge were challenged by our house. They exceeded all my expectations. Patrick was in charge of the electrical. His knowledge, and experience was evident. He made numerous suggestions that we didnt even think about. Without his suggestions, much of our electrical needs would have fallen short. Lynn was also outstanding with the planning. He made the homes structure work with the restoration. As some of the materials we causing my wife stress, Jenny came to her rescue. Jenny helped to make the restoration less stressful, and more fun. The materials have all been great quality, and as the home nears completion, we look forward to many years of enjoying it. The fire was a terrible event, but all of the people involved have made the process so much better. We have nothing but praise for all our friends at American Restoration. Upon completion of the restoration, we will update our review.

I have a local landscaping company and tend to be more critical of the different services I receive due to the importance I place on service and integrity. I have asked to personally meet with the leadership/managers and owners so that I can understand how they have managed to grow into a very large local business and keep such a good client experience. This company is doing something right and I want to know more. During my flood experience my home was covered in mold in my kitchen and bath. I had several different people who ran different portions of the construction ( I guess) not sure of the term maybe restoration. EVERYONE was so concerned about my satisfaction. One day the team was over and hour late and asked me if they could by me lunch for the inconvenience. I did not have to report my bad experience or call the BOSS!! They are a very unique and considerate company if you have a problem such as Water or Fire stuff you would be very very well served to call this company.

We had a pipe burst in our home, and being that were not in Albuquerque NM we had a hard time finding someone to help us, American Restoration stepped up and helped us they sent a technician to our rescue, when he arrived he was very polite and courteous, he immediately went to work, and he exceeded our expectations as he was a one man team he had our house drying and had talked with the insurance and was on his way in less than 3 hours, he answered every question we asked, he returned the following day and finished all the work, and was just a blessing, when we spoke with him he told us how much he enjoys working for this company, and he also told us that all his co-workers are awesome he gave us confidence that we chose the right company, we appreciate your hard and efficient work American Restoration and your technician Jesse we highly recommend this company!!!!

Jesse, Erik, and Joseph turned a terrible situation into a happy ending for my husband and I. We experienced a terrible leak in our house and they swiftly executed the problem. This is the second time our insurance has employed American Restoration and for good reason. They are very professional, always on time, and fix whatever issue is occurring. Not only did they clean up the mess but they took into consideration that my dogs may get into a chemical they spray to cleanse the damaged issue.
