My husband and I have been going to this dental office since we moved to Albuquerque nearly 6 years ago. Were about to move out-of-state, and Im bummed that I have to find a new dentist. Not only is Dr. Lines phenomenal, but the dental hygienist, as well as the rest of the staff at the office, are all amazing. I seriously dreaded going to the dentist before I went here, but at this office, Ive always had quality work done, and so has my husband. Dr. Lines even came in on the weekend once when I had an abscess, and I know it wasnt easy for him because he has a large family to take care of. He knew I was in pain though, so he took the time to make sure I was okay. Anyway, I highly recommend this dental office. You will NOT be disappointed because they take pride in their work, and they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. To the review below saying that work had to be redone elsewhere, I would ask if you tried to contact them about it. Dr. Lines would have easily fixed any mistake for free. Also, the voice answering service gives him messages; I literally just used it last weekend to ask a question about my temporary crown. If you needed to leave a message for the office staff, its easy to just submit an email or leave a message with the answering service.

Great doctor, excellent chair side manner. He makes you feel comfortable and less anxious which is good for those who are scared of the dentist. Everything is clean and he takes his time with you.Debra at the front desk and all the other staff members are really nice. Kathy does an amazing job cleaning your teeth! Very thorough and gentle. I loved the results and kept looking at my teeth in the mirror! Doctor is very calming and so is his dental assistants! You leave feeling healthy and almost forget you were at the dentist :)

The office of Dr Lyons is the best! Great customer service in a friendly atmosphere. The staff explains everything they are going to do and negotiates with me before they perform services. Its the most comfort experience! You are the best doctors office I have ever gone to. Thank you for your amazing staff!

Dr. Lines and his staff are friendly, funny, and above all else professional. Having visited the good doctor on many occasions I have to say I love what he does. My teeth have never been better taken care of and the staff and doctor deserve all the credit. This is by far the smoothest experience I ever had at a dentist office. They knew exactly what I was looking for and delivered it professionally. Doctor Lines and staff are all smart, friendly and work hard to make it easy for patients. The missing star is because you can get similar services for a little less elsewhere, but you probably wont get similar quality or experience.

Caring team. Well informed/skilled dentist. Was new to the area, and concerned about finding quality health care providers for my family. Dr. Lines was patient and understanding about my questions, as well as very caring and attentive when working with my son. Outstanding practice.

Dentist had a good bed side manner, but was not impressed with the work I received. Had work done on three teeth. Two fillings and one “cosmetic fix” on front tooth. Noticed next day my upper molar (which before had ZERO PAIN) was very temperature sensitive gave it time, three months after work still have the sensitivity and nerve pain. Also one week later my front tooth he did the cosmetic work on failed. Here I am paid for a chipped tooth to be fixed and I still have a chipped tooth... I left in worse pain than I was prior to arriving. I’ve learned with dentist work (especially here in Albuquerque) if they don’t do it right the first time going back won’t help anything at all. It will only get worse. then next thing you know these innocent fillings you wanted fixed that weren’t bothering you just wanted to fix it before it gets worse will turn into a major root canal............ Word to the wise really do your homework before letting a random stranger work on your teeth...

I went to Dr. Lines for dental work for years until I moved out of NM. He did crown work for me and did a fantastic job! He and his staff were always extremely friendly and accommodating. Having him as my dentist was a great experience! He helped me to not absolutely hate having to go to the dentist for the first time in my life!

Dr. Lines and his staff are the epitome of caring, considerate, thorough professionalism in dental care. Their office staff always remembers me, is on the ball and prepared (without fault); and their specialists are gentle and kind. My experiences at Dr. Lines Dental Care have been so positive that as my family moved across the state, we still drive 3 hours twice a year back to their office just because we love our dentist so much! Dr. Lines and his team are definitely 5 star. I called his office and let them know I had just broke a front tooth. In less than 24 hours they x-rayed my tooth, decided it could be saved, scheduled an appointment performed a root canal, built a temporary crown, and I was able to proceed with my daily activities. Dr. Lines and his staff are friendly, soothing and excel in their profession. They are a top notch team and we are very fortunate to have them be a part of our community.

It has been at least 35 years since I had a Dentist that caused me no pain. I am new to the area so I had to rely on all the reviews out there and let me tell you, everything good you see about Dr. Lines is more than true. I had some major issues and he got me in within an hour of calling his office. I am a coward when it comes to the Dentist, but with Dr. Lines I do not have any worries. Also, I would like to mention his staff, they are all very professional, courteous and kind, it is a pleasure to walk into the office.

A good professional and a good listener. A refined technique and a humanitarian. Do not stop because of setbacks, he will work with you because of faith, commitment and pride in the quality of work. He also has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Lines is the most skilled and friendly Dentist I have ever been to, and I have seen many around the country. His staff makes you feel important and relaxed at the same time.I won’t go anywhere else.

An awful, abusive experience, do not go here. I went to this practice because they advertise themselves as being able to handle someone with severe Dental phobia. They acted like they had never heard of PTSD, repeatedly doing things intentionally to trigger the phobias I had expressed. The procedure was a nightmare, did not work because they could not achieve adequate anesthesia and the dentist argued with me when I told him it wasnt working. When I insisted that they improve the pain control, even though I was extremely sedated on all kinds of weird drugs they insisted on giving me, they told me they would call the police if I didnt leave immediately. I dont even remember how I left or got home. Of course their drugs wont allow me to remember the incident in detail, so Im very glad I had a witness with me for when I complain to the Dental Board. All in all horrific.

Really friendly group. But less than 2 years later and my dentist in Canada is saying everything has to be redone (re-did 4 of 6 fillings and they want to redo the crown too). Said they looked old and cracked. This has never happened to me before.

Dr. Lines and his staff are all extremely friendly and informative. Leave all your anxiety of going to the dentist at the door, here you feel welcome and well taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

Its been some time since Ive been to a dentist, so I was a little anxious about my first visit. Once I walked in I was greet by two friendly ladies at the desk, and soon meet the whole staff. Everyone was very kind and gave me the facts when it came to my teeth. Dr lines cut straight to the chase with exactly what needed to be done to get my smile back on track. I like Doctors and medical professionals who address facts and Dr Lines would be one of those guys. Ill be referring all my family and employees Dr lines! Hes very nice and makes you feel at home when you visit his practice.

Dr. Derek Lines and the wonderful staff at his Clinic are the best! I am new to the area and had an unexpected urgent dental problem develop which I needed taken care of within 24 hours. A work colleague recommended Dr. Lines and I had a same day appointment scheduled within 2 hours of my initial phone call. Everyone was vey pleasant and professional and I walked out of the Clinic, problem solved, within 4 hours of my first contact with them Thanks, Dr, Lines, Katelynn and the rest of the crew!. I will definitely be back for my routine care and highly recommend them!

Great experience! Ive never liked going to the dentist since i had a bad experience when i was little. I felt every comfortable and didnt feel any pain.

Friendly non pressure atmosphere. The staff are great and all the procedures have been good.

Note - I have not been there in about 4 years and was a patient for 2 years. Here are the main reasons why I do NOT recommend this dentist:1) Front desk staff had huge attitude. To the point where it was uncomfortable to visit.2) Closed on odd days. No voice messages through live answering service will get to dentist on days he is not in - this put me in a pickle twice, once I had to get dental care from another dentist on a Monday because this office was closed.3) Poor quality work has led me to have a root canal redone and a bridge replaced by a new dentist. Out of pocket cost was over $2000. The bridge was not glued on properly and bacteria got in, under the bridge.

Worst DDS ever... I have get a crown done and had to go back to see him a couple times cause it was not fitting right. overtime I went back he charged me for new X-rays even.... piece of garbage

Im 63 years old and have lived and worked in five different states. Dr. Lines & his staff provide the best dental care I have ever received.
