Love the office of Dr. Garcia. He and his staff are amazing, and most importantly, they are gentle!! They explain everything that is happening, or that they need to do, are upfront about costs, and make the process as smooth as possible. This scaredy cat wouldnt go anywhere but Dr. Garcia!

Does quality dental work and Im happy with the results. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is because having a crown done was very expensive, but it had to be done, so i was prepared to pay that. I tried to subtly communicate that it was a financial stretch for me (college student) but Dr. Garcia kept insisting on having me come in for more work on the future. Id love to have the money to have all my teeth fixed, but I simply dont have it and I dont like to have the proverbial used car salesman tactics pushed at me.

Dr. Roderick Garcia and his staff are the real deal! From Day 1 you feel welcome, informed and treated with respect. Follow-ups are just as important to Dr. Garcia as it is to us the patient. He has a quiet, confident demeanor and carries a conversation well. Your health is paramount and he answers all your questions and gives positive informed information the entire step of the way. DR Garcia and his staff were amazing, I just moved here and was looking for a dentist I had a very bad tooth ache, I emailed them over the weekend and DR Garcia called me personally was very caring and concerned about my tooth, after talking with him he had his staff call me and get me in first thing Monday Morning. What a Blessing!!!! The front staff was so kind and understanding, the assistant were so sweet and gentle. I would highly recommend DR Garcia and his staff, I have found my new Dental Home!!!!

My seven year old daughter has been seeing Dr. Garcia since her teeth started coming in, and believe it or not, she asks when she get to go back to the dentist! All the staff at Dr. Garcias office have been very kind and concerned for my comfort and needs. I came to Dr. Garcia at the strong encouragement of a friend who had dental work done by him. I am thinking that my needs really are of a somewhat difficult case. I needed implants and what I would call cosmetic needs. To top it all off, I have some needs that require a push to get all my work completed as soon as possible. Knowing what I know and have experienced, I would do it again. I still have not completed the entire dental work, but feel certain that I will be happy with it and am excited to see the results. Dr Garcia is special and so is his staff.

Dr. Garcia began basically a whole-mouth reconstruction for me five years ago. He totally transformed my smile. Three implants later and several state-of the art ceramic bridges and crowns later, not only my teeth but even my face were transformed as a consequence. Topping it off, his work (most of it finished three years ago) realigned my bite--I had had a bad bite for most of my life. And he and his staff are truly friendly and caring. In my book, he is the best cosmetic dentist in New Mexico, and one of the very best anywhere, and also very reasonably priced. I recommend him enthusiastically. Dr. Mario A. Rivera

These other reviews are useless. This dentist messed up my teeth and doesnt even take ownership for it. Not even an apology. Im sure he doesnt admit to anything because he is afraid of getting sued. Also the offices are seriously dirty, and Im not confident they sterilize their instruments properly. Hes a total cheat. Be warned customers. NEVER going back. I am traumatized!

Dr Garcia and his entire staff are amazing. I was in severe tooth-nerve pain one morning last year and they were able to get me in the same day to help me. Ive continued going to them to get some much needed dental work done because Dr Garcia is easily the best dentist Ive ever been to. I was afraid of dental work because of a terrible experience with another dentist. But Dr Garcias experience and skills are well balanced with his pleasant yet professional manner. I never worry about pain because hes so aware of patient comfort level, and is personable and kind also. I would highly recommend Dr Garcia to anyone!

It was a great experience.. everyone was very friendly ... when i was in alot of pain with a root canal they moved my appointment sooner ! And Dr. Garcia called in a prescription on Sunday for antibiotics and ibuprofen. So i could have some relief .. Thank u all very much !!

I have come to expect the worst in dental care, had about given up when I came to Dr Garcia. In my 40’s I started with a reknown dental school in California, expected full mouth extractions and dentures. They talked me into a partial on the lower and I still suspect that the suggestion was based on the residents need to complete that procedure.The lower caused me extreme pain and discomfort and after relocating to Montana seven years later, I proceeded to have remaining teeth extracted and get fitted for full dentures. To my dismay, they wouldn’t stay in my mouth, neither the upper nor the lower.At my wife’s urging, I went to Dr Garcia and he immediately recognized the problem and called my wife back to look. My dentures ( having spent years in a jar) were in my mouth and he told me to smile......the denture popped out immediately. He pointed out corrections that should have been made before fitting me with those dentures. I was given an appointment with an oral surgeon who snipped the frenulum and carved away some extra bone (torus).After healing, my dentures were fitted and I can now wear uppers without any glue and lowers with a little. My dentures stay in for 24 plus hours and I am able to eat foods I haven’t enjoyed for years, able to smile and I no longer mumble ( my wife likes that.)Joanne, the front office manager, coordinated my dental insurance with Medicaid and stayed with it until everything was mostly covered.Thank you Dr Garcia and your dedicated staff!

I hadnt been to a dentist in more than 10 years. Reasons are probably typical to others--paying my hard earned money in exchange for painful hours spent in a chair with my mouth open. I was fortunate enough to stumble across the expertise of Dr. Garcia and his very professionally run office. While I still cannot say I love going to the dentist, I am very pleased with my decision to finally get my grill fixed (and Im a tight-wad with my $$)

The patient education is excellent from every staff member, and maintaining my comfort during and after procedures was a priority. I’ve never had any problems or consequnences afterwards. After a lifetime of medical and dental problems, I have come to expect little else. Coming from a medical background, I know all too well that doctors and dentists are not all created equal. What I did not expect was the superb treatment and level of dental care that I received from Dr Garcia and his staff. I presented with an “All on Four” that had failed and not only did Dr Garcia and his amazing lab rebuild and replace the framework and bridge but he and his office manager helped me get some reimbursement from my previous dentist.I am seventy years old but Dr Garcia and his lab were as perfectionistic and attentive to cosmetics as if I were in my twenties. I highly recommend this dentist and regardless of where I move, I will find my way back to Dr Garcia for any future dental needs.

I was looking for a dentist in the Abq area, I found Dr. Garcia through Google, and liked the reviews. I called, asked if they were accepting new patients, AND if they took my insurance. They said yes to both. I made an appointment for an exam and cleaning. Upon my arrival there was a sign that said they were not contracted with any insurance companies. I asked them about it and they offered to give me a discount to make up for the fact that my insurance would only pay 50% because they were out of network. After my exam I was told that I would need quite a few fillings. I was pretty surprised, because I had been to a dentist not too long before, and was never diagnosed with abrasions nor ever told I needed to get fillings for that. It was kind of shocking. They verified my insurance benefits, gave me an estimate, and I paid my portion. My insurance delayed payment because they needed more information, xrays. My insurance company ultimately ended up denying the claim, because apparently fillings are generally only covered for issues related to decay. After researching, pretty much all insurance companies exclude fillings due to abrasions. Unfortunately, we all sign that little piece of paper agreeing that we are responsible for payment regardless. As a lay person I didnt think to call my insurance company to ask if the specific diagnosis for the suggested treatment would be covered. I thought a filling was a filling. I also trusted that a professional dental office would be more informed, and experienced, and be able to accurately estimate my portion, especially after verifying my benefits. I feel duped, from the time I asked if they took my insurance until they told me I needed a dozen fillings, and taking hundreds of my dollars. Dr. Garcia himself was OK. He wasnt mean or rude. I wouldnt say he was especially gentle or empathetic though either. There were times during those fillings that I was pretty uncomfortable and had to just tough it out. I think this practice puts profit before the well being of their patients and tries to get as much out of us as possible. Its pretty disappointing.

Worst dentist in Albuquerque, he uses a lab that does shoddy workmanship, Dr. Garcia messed up my false teeth so bad that it hurts to wear them. When I remarked on 1st visit after removal of my teeth that I didnt like the look of the false teeth I was told too bad, there is nothing we can do. Dr. Garcia does not care about his craft! Would not advise using him!
