Prices are outrageous and wait times are atleast 2 weeks. Save yourself time and money and go off base. Huge rip off.

About to deploy and just needed one rank sewed on one hat. Was quoted two weeks for a simple job. Ill take my business off base.

I would give no stars if possible. Took in a brand new mess dress coat to have stripes sewn on and have it tapered. Picked up the jacket and when I put it on, on one arm the stripes were crooked and on the other arm they were too low on the sleeve. Took the jacket back to them and while fixing the stripes they put a hole in the sleeve. They also didn’t bother to try and get the pin marks, left by their first attempt, to close up and there was a line where the stripes had been originally sewn. At this point they told me they could steam the pin holes and that would clear them up and they would reweave the hole that they made in the sleeve. A week goes by and I go back to pick up the jacket and as I was looking it over I noticed there were chalk marks from the stripes being sewn on. Also one of the corners of one of the stripes was not sewn down and I was able to pull it up. So, they took the jacket back again to steam it and sew the stripe down correctly. I waited at the BX for them to finish. I came back and inspected the jacket again to make sure it was finally ready to wear. The jacket looked brand new and I asked how they got the hole reweaved and was told by the cashier that he wasnt’t sure. I thanked the woman who fixed the stripe and apologized for the saga that this jacket had created. She said it was no problem and, “thanks for keeping us honest”. I got home and tried on the jacket and it felt too big on me. I checked the size because originally I had purchased a 42L and this coat was a 46R. So, it turns out that this isn’t my jacket after all and after they couldn’t fix the damage they caused they decided they would give me a different jacket and hope I didn’t notice. Currently waiting a call from AAFES headquarters about this. Trying to deceive customers because you can’t properly do your job is unacceptable and they need to be help accountable for these type of actions. I will never take another item to them.
