I had never gone to a tailor before. Fred is professional! I brought cheap shirts, which I had ordered online, and Fred made them fit me perfectly.I asked him to sell me a quality shirt and fit it to me, so I could see the difference between what I had worn in the past and a quality, properly-tailored shirt. The dress shirt he recommended and tailored to my measurements looks as good as I could have imagined when I entered his business the first day.Any concerns I had about working with someone new in an area I had no experience are gone and I look forward to getting more tailored, high-quality dress clothes from Fred at Fine Men’s in the near future!

I started a job on short notice that required I wear a suit every day. I purchased a few new suits but I needed to get them altered. I found Freds store via Google search. Ive had some bad experiences with tailors. I had a great experience at a place in Austin, TX, but it was pricey. Fred had my suit back to me within a couple days--less than half the time he had initially promised. Everything looked great, so I brought in another suit I had just bought. Again, everything was great. Fred charged less than I expected but everything was just as well done as I could have hoped. If I need more suits or have to have other clothing altered, Ill definitely be coming back to Fred.

I found Fred’s store via an online search. Located in a small unassuming strip mall in a convenient Albuquerque NM spot, Fine Men’s loathing and Alterations is the place where I will go from now on. Fred’s alterations were perfectly executed and I am satisfied with my suits.

Fred is a great tailor! I brought in two suits--tapered chests on the jackets, sleeves lengthened, hems and drops adjusted on the pants. He did all of the work excellently and returned it quickly.

Fred is the man. I brought in a new suit that needed what I consider major alterations: -4 length on the jacket, -2 on the pant length, and a -1.5 taper below the knee. Total cost was ~$80 and the suit looks brand new and feels amazing.

I am very happy with the high quality work done by Fred at Fine Mens Clothing. They were able to alter an off-the-rack suit to make it look custom tailored. They showed careful attention to detail and quality. More importantly, they will adjust the suit at no charge as my body changes. I am now a customer for life!

I contacted Fred at Fine Mens Clothing because I had a pea coat that I wanted altered. I called and was informed that Saturdays are by appointment only, but Fred was kind and made himself available quickly. At the last second, I decided I would get a second sweater altered as well and then was on my way. I arrived at Fine Mens Clothing and was ushered into the fitting room where Fred marked my sleeves for the alterations. It was a quick and mostly painless process. I paid $42 up front to have the sleeves of both garments shortened. About 5 days later (I told him no rush), he called to let me know the garments were ready to be picked up. I wasnt able to leave during work to go by the shop, so we decided he would leave my items at the embroidery shop next door for me to pick up at noon on Saturday. Both garments were waiting for me and I picked them up with no problem. Once I was back home, I excitedly tried on my freshly altered clothing only to recognize the sleeves were different lengths on both pieces of clothing. The sweater is ruined due to the sleeves now being too short and the jacket will need to be altered again to even out the sleeves. The previous reviews on here do not suggest this is common practice, but I for one will not be returning.

Had to have several suits tailored and one custom suit for a tall man made from scratch. The tailoring was top quality and the suits fit incredibly well...waaaaay better than when we bought them from another store. Fred and his seamstress are great! Friendly and professional! Definitely recommend this business!
