Im a woman who loves my pixie cut! I only go to high end salons but have never been satisfied with the blending of the hair at the nape of my neck and around my ears. I finally decided to go to a professional barber hoping that I would get the finished look I wanted.I researched Lucky Thirteens online. I liked what people said and I was willing to give it a try. I called for an appointment, explaining what i was looking for. Jessie talked to me: he was nice, professional, and understanding. I went to my appointment with a picture of what I wanted in hand.Jessie looked thoughtfully at the photo, agreeing that it was a great haircut and assuring me wed get it done. And did he ever! My dream pixie is a reality. He was able to give me a perfect haircut, using scissors, razor and shears. He constantly informed and showed me the progress he was making. He cut with the precision I was looking for while infusing his technique with my wishes for a soft and feminine cut. I am so happy with my perfect pixie and I will return to this master barber again and again. He is an artist and a gentleman.Thank you, JessieKitty

Todays experience was horrible! Funny thing is weve come here before and my son was satisfied with his haircuts. But waiting at least an hour, two of the barbers leave and the other barber pulling a customer that arrived after us. Really made me feel that some customers dont matter.

Out of the three times I’ve visited Lucky 13, one hair cut was outstanding and the other two were so bad that I’m convinced they just brought some people in from off the street and put clippers in their hand. Also, I understand barbershop culture but they are so loud and obnoxious in there it’s border line unbearable.So, if you like a 33.33% haircut success rate and an over the top obnoxious environment, Lucky 13 is your barber shop 😎

Not a fan. they are walk in only some reason despite what their web site says. Walked in on a pervious customer wanting there money back. That should have been my hint to walk out. Barber gave me what I asked for but not well. Just lacks experience and talent.

Best place in town to get a professional haircut. I used to live in santa Fe and it was worth the drive to Albuquerque to get my haircut. I highly recommend getting a haircut here. The staff are very nice and the environment is wonderful.

Bad haircut.Joseph cut my hair and he did not listen when I gave instructions at the beginning and did not blend a section of my hair. after he fixed it, it looked worse. Bad haircut, not very friendly staff.Also he used gel in my hair without asking because he said it helps his tools. I never use gel in my hair and didnt want it.They had a guy there cleaning up hair (seemed like they were helping him out) but the employees were all raggin on him and making jokes about what bridge he lived under and how theyre docking his pay for the toilet paper he used. You could tell the guy didnt like it.

Ghetto ass barbers! Loud obnoxious, horrible haircuts! Took off the half top of my hair! Do not go here! Barber chewed food while cutting my hair! Not to mention chewed with his mouth open ! Maybe it was just my barber, don’t know his name but he is the only fat one in there.

I wouldn’t get a fade and a line up any where else in New Mexico. Lucky 13 Barbershop has always been loyal to their shop hours and barber standards.

The barbers really know there stuff, the atmosphere was fun and kid friendly, they were making jokes and had me laughing most of the visit, I wont go any Where else

S*** haircut Ive ever had in my life. I asked person to trim down what was there and he almost cut it all and screwed with my front hairline. Once I heard them little clippers I shouldve stopped it then and there. The person buthered my hair. A REAL barber wouldve asked how it looked along the way if everything was ok but he did whatever the f*** he wanted and it looked like s***. I couldve went a supercuts and probably wouldve gotten a better one from the s***storm I got. First and last time Ill go there. Never again. I shouldve asked for a refund. A**holes

Just awful. Terrible first impression. Apparently when you say I want my hair like this they hear Cut my hair however you want, with no regard for what I said. In fact, do the opposite. I drove straight from here to Supercuts to get another haircut. Complete waste. Stay away.
