Just moved to the area and have been trying to find a new barber for weekly cuts. This place had good reviews and was recommended by a couple people I’d talked to.Booked an appointment for “any available” barber since I don’t know who to pick yet and showed up a few minutes early. I was greeted by the first guy at the first chair and he asked if I had an appointment. I explained that it was for any available and he asked the rest of the shop “who has Cody?”No one answered him and so he decided that was the end of our interaction. After standing there like a clown for a few more minutes and making awkward eye contact with the rest of the barbers, I left.I will comment that most people inside weren’t wearing masks; clients or barbers.Edited: Two managers did reach out to me and apologized and so I’ve amended the review.

Chris Cordova did an excellent job hooking me up with a double undercut. He took time to make sure my hair was exactly like I pictured. He is a very amicable guy. Go see Chris for attention to detail and friendly conversation!

Ive been getting my haircut by John Duran at fitness Barber studio, albuquerque, for over a year. John does an excellent job on my haircuts. Im in my mid-50s and he always cuts my hair appropriately. On days that Im not talkative John cuts my hair in relative silence. On the days that I am talkative I enjoy talking with John about our families, backgrounds, and hobbies. I like the music they play at fitness Barber studio. John is always on time for my haircuts and graciously makes any changes I asked for. I am quite demanding..I recommend fitness Barber studio to everyone.

I havent been able to find a consistently good barber, until now. I have been very pleased with all of the services I have received from Finesse. I have started scheduling with Mike, and am never let down. He just helped me out with my beard & a haircut for my wedding & it came out amazing! I also bring my 9 year old son with me and he also loves this place, too! Danielle helped my Mom that same day and is a great barber as well. My Mom has cancer and needed her head shaved and Danielle had a very gentle hand and was so considerate to her, we appreciate all of you @ Finesse! Thank you!

Brandon is the best barber in NM! I’ve been going to him for almost 3 years now and followed him here when he moved from his old shop. Always been super professional and knows what he’s doing. Every time I get a haircut from Brandon I know it’s gonna be good! I’d recommend anybody who wants a great cut to go to him!

I think these guys are really cool went there today and got a Fresh Cut by my man Mike it wasn’t awkward we talked while he was giving me a cut. Overall just great place with cool people.

Came in today for my sons haircut. First time here. Was actually recommended by a friend. Had good hopes for this place. Came in. Nobody greets us nobody says anything. We sat there one freaking hour and decided to leave. I know appointments are the norm nowadays but at least acknowledge your customers! Even saw one kid same haircut when we came in and still sitting on the chair with the same hair when we left! Next time acknowledge the next customer who comes in without an appointment, it could be their first time too.

Went in for a haircut and left very satisfied. The conversation/banter was enjoyable and entertaining. Haircuts take up to 45 minutes while a touch up takes about 15 minutes. Prices are very reasonable and you can also pay with card. Highly recommend Jessie if you get your next fade.

Good place for a cut! See my man John Duran. Hell get your cut how you want it and is very professional. Use Gen booking as walks ins are welcomed but having an appointment helps.

I just thought I would leave a review to let people know about the atmosphere here. While I have had 1 great hair cut and one mediocre haircut here, the atmosphere was somewhat surprising. They have a picture showing a kid getting a haircut as an advertisement, but I would never let my kids come here. There was music playing pretty loudly with plenty of F-bombs, vulgar language about women, and repeated uses of the N-word. One of the barbers was vaping, and I was somewhat concerned about how messy the place was. There was hair all over the place. Many of the barbers didnt clean their stations between clients. It makes you wonder how clean they are keeping their scissors and clippers. If you are into that kind of atmosphere the cuts are great, but If you would appreciate a more professional kid friendly place I would go somewhere else.

Terrible! Went in needing just a quick trim and a sign said walk ins welcome. As soon as I walked in only one barber acknowledged me and asked if I had an appointment. I said I was a walk in and he said someone would be with me soon. I then spent the next half hour sitting and waiting while there were 6 barbers on and two sat texting on their phones and while people walked in after me and got seen right away. I understand people having appointments so getting priority but first dont have a sign saying walk ins welcome if you have no system to handle it, also how else are you going to build clientele. Second, dont tell someone to wait while two of your people sit and text. Ive been in customer service for 15 years and Ive seen people fired for less.

Very unprofessional place. Worst haircut I ever had. Some of the other barbers seemed ok from what I observed. But overall this place is not a top level barbershop. Has potential but I doubt it will get there. For the money Im sure theres better places in Albuquerque.

Walked in..and got the worst haircut of my life ...the guy butchered my hair..for some reason he decided to cut off all my hair ..and nothing is even...I feel like he kept fu$(ing up and trimming more and more till he couldnt..was the fastest haircut of my life as well..I sat down waited for him to finish another guys haircut then he sat me down and completed before the barber next to me was halfway done with his client..dont come here
