Three times I had appointments set up for 8am-12pm. The first time was to look at the dishwasher and determine how to fix it. 2nd time was to install parts that were ordered and the 3rd time was when the dishwasher broke again two weeks after it was repaired. All three times the technician was late, past 12pm and only called me around 9am to tell me they would be closer to 12 and then nothing. No follow up call, nothing. I had to call Sears back to find out what was going on. It was around 2pm or later the technician decided to show up. Instead of apologizing and fixing my dishwasher, all they wanted to do was sell me more warranties and stuff I dont need. The customer service is deplorable all around from the technician to the people on the phones!

I called in the morning and asked the price to install a part I ordered. I asked every person I talked to to slow down as they talked because I couldnt understand them. The person quoted my $90.00 to install a microwave door. I said that I will get back with them which I did that afternoon. I ordered the replacement door and then was forwarded to the technician department. The man spoke so fast that I could hardly understand. I asked him three times to slow down. He quoted me $249.00 for the installation. I questioned that since I had been previously quoted $90.00. I asked if he was scamming me because that didnt sound right. He hung up on me and when I called back, my phone number was blocked. I called the BBB and am waiting for a response.My family has patronized Sears for close to 100 years. To be treated like this is outrageous.
I paid over $400.00 for a ice maker water tube & Installation. The tube needed to be replaced because the ice maker leaked all over the freezer. The tube was too short because - in a previous repair - the tech, from Sears, cut the tube and it was too short. The tech this time told me everything was fine and the ice maker was fixed and would not leak. Less than 4 hours later, I had water running down the freezer. I called to get the tech back that evening. They could not get someone out for almost 3 weeks. They are flying techs in from California. I think that is why they could not get someone out sooner.
VERY POOR SERVICE! I DONT RECOMMEND THERE SERVICES. THE TEC LEFT ME WITHOUT A WASHER FOR A WEEK! THEY MADE THE PROBELM WORSE!
I had Sears come out to my house to look at my washing machine. The tech thought itwas going to be a refrigeratr . No communication from the office to the tech. Needless to say I paid $99 plus tax for nothing. The tech told me that thecouldnt find the part.
Service was SUPERB!!!
