When I spoke to MGP they were very helpful in letting me know what would be needed to do the repairs and scheduled us quickly. MGP was very professional and personable. Both the HVAC and the plumbing departments fixed the separate problems with my air conditioner and my hot water heater that were caused by another company.The only issue I had was to have to ask one of the workers to wear a mask when he had already walked into my house. However, he was very apologetic as he put his mask on.

We have a swamp cooler that was running but not cooling. They were able to serve us within a few days, rather than the 2 weeks others quoted. Nice guys, on time, quickly discovered the pump needed replacing. They replaced the pump but still not working. Finally determined they had a faulty pump and had to go get another one. I was a bit bothered to have to pay for the time they spent working on the faulty pump they brought with them, but I guess that is standard practice.

Install new HVAC unit. This was not an easy job, they had to be creative to get the electrical work from the garage to the second floor and on the roof while trying to get the unit complete before the rainstorm came in.The service was excellent. The gentlemen who worked on my unit were highly proficient in All areas of the installation. I called about 10-15 different AC companies in Albuquerque and no one was able to squeeze me in. Thank goodness I came across MGP! We did our research and found that this local ABQ small business has a great reputation. We wanted our AC moved to the roof and we wanted it done right. The owner came on time, did a thorough inspection, spent time explaining the options and giving his professional recommendations. He listened and produced a detailed estimate within a few days. When the team arrived they knew all the details previously discussed and communicated at every stage of the process. When they found a problem with the initial installation (damaged valve due to improper installation by Comfort Solutions) they replaced both valves and charged just for the part. The end result is a system better than when it was first installed and a super clean and professional looking job. Their charges are just slightly higher than the national chain big guys. Well worth it!

It took over a week to receive a quote after the initial survey; the quoted prices seemed very reasonable, but I was concerned about the sizing of the unit in my quote. The quote was for a 5-ton unit when other installers were recommending a 4-ton; it wasnt clear that the quoted 96% efficient furnace required a new exhaust to coexist with my water heater, and it would have been helpful to get a quote for an 80% efficient furnace that wouldnt require additional exhaust work..

I hired them to handle a routine/standard service...opening up my evaporated air unit for the summer. I knew I would learn enough about them to determine if I would want to work with them again. As I was promised, Kenny texted me when he was on his way. Once on site, he listened intently to any questions I asked and was knowledgeable with his answers. You don’t know how many times I’ve had various people in various service industries literally not listen to me so this was huge. He didn’t over recommend or oversell anything either. When Kenny was finished, he wanted to borrow a broom or a vacuum cleaner to pick up the mess. I was so thrilled that he actually offered and was really going to do it that I told him I’d take care of it. I’m also going to look into their maintenance plan because I’ve heard good things.

MGP is the best Mechanical services company period! Hands down the only company I will ever call for any of our needs.

The main concern is that calls placed with questions are not returned. We had a leak caused by the initial installation of the unit that was not discovered until the snow melted. Water caused the ceiling to leak into the hallway. MGP fixed the unit on the roof alright but the damage to the house was only partially repaired. MGP never returned to finish the repair. Also we never received any rebate from PNM as promised & MGP said they would look into it and again we did not receive any response. The employees are great, when they did came, but communication is another matter.

I met Gerald and Mila a few years ago and I will never use another HVAC/Plumbing company in Albuquerque! They are very reliable, knowledgeable, professional, and the nicest people you will meet. Anytime I have any issues with my rental property or my own home, Gerald always makes time to stop by! The best!

They can do anything, and will figure out what is needed to get the job done no matter how large or small. They installed the water and steam plumbing for our entire brewery operation in our first year, and since then have helped us to install entire bathrooms, triple sinks, dishwashers, grease traps, industrial A/C units, duct work, walk in coolers, and many other things. They are the only company we will ever use for plumbing and HVAC contracting, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

We have an older home that was built in 1977. We needed two separate heat and air units that involved running a new duct as well as an electrical panel upgrade. Gerald from MGP coordinated the sub contractors needed to do the electrical work as well as another individual to build out a soffit for the new duct work. We have an older home that does not have ductwork. Before replacement by MGP, we had older wall furnaces and a swamp cooler. We wanted to replace our old system well a more modern system before the old system broke down in the middle of winter. We received five estimates for this work and had to choose between putting in ductwork and going with a mini split system. We had decided to go with the mini split system before we asked for the estimate from MGP. We liked MGP better than the rest of the companies. There was no BS during the estimate and they offered a reasonable price.We are delighted with their quality of work. The work was done in a timely manner. As part of the contract, we had also asked them to do a couple of other small jobs relating to our old equipment. They did excellent work on everything they did. We love our new system and are very happy we went with the mini split system. It did a great job during the heatwave this summer and we really enjoy being able to control the temperature and every room. and we are delighted with a 12-year warranty on parts for our Mitsubishi system.We would highly recommend MGP for any of your HVAC needs
