Amazing experience!! I made an appointment not knowing what to expect, and was more than pleasantly surprised. I learned about hair and the local area, and enjoyed a great conversation about a range of topics. Most importantly, the best haircut and most relaxing experience I have ever enjoyed at a barbershop. I will be back when in town!

Davy saved my hair. Another place gave me a brutal cut almost two months ago and I decided to try out this spot. He stayed late to get everything how he wanted it and gave me one of, if not the best, cut of my life. 6/5 stars.

Dave’s great with the scissors and the trimmer. He’s meticulous and won’t stop til he gets the cut right. He doesn’t mind if you say “just a little more off the top” a few times and he’ll give you an honest opinion of what he thinks will look best on you!

Been going to Dave for about two-and-a-half years now. Always a great cut and shave. Great comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes I feel like talking sometimes I wanna sit in my thoughts (mostly work - I work downtown) and hes is great at reading that.

Dave gives great consistent haircuts for a very reasonable price. He has a wealth of knowledge on how to best cut and style hair. His shop is currently in the Albany County Office Building on State Street. For some reason, the sign references Ronnies Twin Shear. I dont know Ronnie, but I know Dave. And Dave is the man.

Dave is an awesome barber, hands down. Wicked nice and professional, and the barber that has taken the most time and attention to detail when cutting hair. He is crazy good with getting the cut exactly how you want it and to look good of course. His skill is unmatched and his prices are great too... Im so glad I found a barber like him when I moved to Albany.

I went to get a cut from David because of all the positive reviews and I have to say...theyre all true. Three weeks in, my hair still looks great without any product in it - thats a first for me!Davids got an excellent eye for the quirks of your hair and how it will behave when it starts growing again...he certainly helped me correct a few errors previous barbers had made with my hair.Davids always wanted to be a barber and despite a few challenges he never gave up on his dream until he achieved it. Best cut in Albany! Dave is not just a great barber but a great guy! Ask him to tell you the stories back in the day of his connections to the music industry when he lived in the Bronx. Interesting stories, and the gleam in his eye as he reminisces about his younger years is very uplifting to see.

Walked in accidently 3 months ago when my barber of 15 years abruptly quit. I have been a client ever since. Every 2 weeks without fail. Davi is personable, professional, and provides an excellent service. I drive down to this location from the burbs just for my cut. I brought my dad down today an hell be coming back to.

Ive had trouble finding a good barber in this area for a long time, but I think Ive finally found the place. Davys barbershop was a great experience for me. Davy was extremely friendly, and gave me a nice clean cut. Throughout the process, he informed me of the problems that previous barbers had done on my hair, and gave me some tips for when I go to other barbers (I go to school in New York City so this will be helpful). I highly recommend checking out this barbershop, and will definitely come back in the future.

If you want value for your money, this is your new Barber. Impeccable quality, great atmosphere. Quality service is so hard to find these days, Dave puts an end to that...dare I say the word, perfect?? If not, its pretty damn close.

I have lived in this area my whole life and have been to almost every barber, most of them pretty good but none of them really stand out. I recently had a haircut and cleanup by Davy and was blown away. He had a style and approach that I havent seen before. I love the shops vibe and feel and the location is convenient for me. Best barber in Capital Region. Searched all over Capital Region for a barber when I moved to Albany. Met Dave at Patsys a few years ago, followed him to his new place. Dave is by far the best. Dave takes his time and makes sure the cut is perfect every time.

So .. im not from syracuse not albany. But was working in the area one friday. Come 4:30 i get done and need my hair cut because my son is getting baptized that sunday and knew i wouldnt have time to get done in cuse. I google and this dude has the only 5 star rating. I get there maybe 4:45 my mans got people waiting and phoned in appointments booked right up till 6 when he close. I almost just walked out not being able to chance missing the opportunity to get in chair elsewhere if need be. This man sees my stress and basically flat out said hed rather stay open late for me than see someone else screw my head up. I waited it out. And to be honest probably the coolest barber ive ever had the pleasure of sitting with. Gave him permission to do whatever he thought would be best... and i walked out with the dopest haircurt ive ever had in my life! If i could give this man 10 stars hed have them. If you live in albany and sit in another mans chair.... you robbing yourself. Davyboii i appreciate the hell outta ya man! When im back in town ill be back through. 10/10

Best cut since moving to the area. I tried at least 5 before finding this guy. The atmosphere is great and his playlist is the best in the industry.

Been to see Davy a bunch of times. The only guy I let cut my hair. Does a phenominal job every time. Takes the time to give you a sharp clean cut that is always crisp.

Dave was a great guy, and a even better Barber. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Absolutely going back for another cut.

This Guy has to be the best damn barber i have ever been to...He is very good at what he does! he is very easy to talk to and has a contagious laugh there is no doubt in my mind that I will continue to see him, I have no clue why there isnt a line out the door for this guy!!
