Jay is the best ever always make feel like family. And his hair cutting skills are out of this world. Everytime he cut my hair he makes me look like a million bucks

I started using this barbershop when I moved to Albany in January 2015. Even though I no longer live in Albany, my 2 sons still come here (they still live in the area) and I come here when im in town visiting and need a cut. They have many master barbers here that can expertly cut any type of hair. My sons have a standing appointment every other Sunday, but even if you need a cut at short notice someone there will accommodate you. Im dropping my son off at college today and wanted him to get a fresh cut. Our normal barber wasnt available but the owner, Jay Allen, said he would hook my son up. Its that type of customer service that has kept me coming here for the past 6 years and will keep me coming here.

Alfred Bracy United States Army Military Police say Jay Allen Barber Studio is a wonderful place to visit because they had give Great Haircuts and good customer service.

None of the customers in chairs were wearing masks and the Barbers mask was under his nose. I left. What a waste of my time and so stupid, hair cutting is a high risk activity as you are so close for so long.

Gave them three chances. Haircuts are fine, but my first trip I waited nearly an hour to be seated. Second trip, my appointment was forgotten and I waited another hour. It happens, oh well. Third trip I walked out after 40 minutes of watching my barber take other people. Make sure to request the expected such as a wet shave and edge-up, or youll get the service of what should be a $10 haircut instead.

Jay Allen and Bricks...both run professionally, well kept, and host respectful, professional treatment.Haircuts are competitive with most other places, but the knowledge that (you) will be treated well carries its own value.

Barber by the name of Tim makes appointments does not show up constantly as well as eats food while doing your hair making you smell like a Big Mac when you leave.. Unprofessional will not be back will as I drive all the way from the Berkshiere Mass to get a hair cut you would think you would keep your appointment as well as bringing my friends there like I said will take my business and recommendation else where as well as bad mouth this Baber shop every chance I get so they will not receive business from anyone around me!

I went in for my first time ever the barber told me 10-15 mins I sat there for 45 mins and watched two ppl come in after and get cuts finally after 45 mins he said sorry gonna be another 15 20 mins I took my business elsewhere and will never go back

They give good cuts at a fair price, but every time Ive gone, Ive had to wait to the point where it seems like theres no reason to make an appointment on their website. I just walked out today after waiting 30 minutes because the guy Id made an appointment with was starting someone else when I arrived.

Staff was rude, didnt feel welcomed when i walked in. Someone told me to have a seat and someone will b with me. I waited and waited until i walked out.

They dont even deserve a rating. Worse haircut experience ever. My boyfriend went to get a haircut and a trim on his beard and mustache. Came back all uneven, some not even cut, he has a huge line deep cut across his neck, red. BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT EVER!!
