I have always had positive experiences at the Akron Pull-A-Part. My most recent visit had Ted, the manager,, make sure i got two rust free doors for a vintage car I had just obtained. The donor car was going to be pulled from the lot, it being there the allotted time. Ted made sure the doors were pulled and even helped put them unharmed in the back of my station wagon. Ted was a great help as well as the crew at the store...

Its lousy business to deny someone to see a car you just received because you havent assessed it. I was in passing when you brought in a car that I also currently own. Its rare to see them and I been looking for a parts car. I was possibly willing to buy the complete car and have it towed away for more then what you paid for it.And yall said you wouldnt sell the whole car. Wouldnt even give us the time of day. And I highly doubt ppl are calling looking for parts for the particular car. You dont see them on the road anymore. They have all been scrapped . You took it to scrap and wouldnt humor us in just letting us see it. Not happy.

I am always looking for focus parts and Ashley, Terri, Lexie, and Ted are always going out of the way to give me a hand. Separate tickets, vins, transportation up to the front with parts. Great people thank you guys for helping

For me this place is hard to beat.They most always have the parts you need & tell you where to find them.Hoing back there later today to possibly buy a all SUV they have there.Good People.

I was in need of a transmission and had been waiting for an entire year for the right vehicle to come into Akron or Canton locations. Finally one came to Akron. When I got there the supports were in the way so I asked for them to be moved. Ted and T came right over and moved them for me, Then I asked them to move more and then one more time. They were saints and did not appear bothered by my constant pickiness. Its a very hot day and Ted even brought me a bottle of water. WOW! That is customer service. These guys deserve a commendation. Thanks so much....... I had to go back on Monday 7/5/2021. Ted and Sandy were just great again. I cant believe how much better the customer service is in Akron than in the Canton location. I think I will be driving the 28 miles out of my way to go to the Akron location from now on.

If you are willing to take off your own parts for a car then this is the place to go. They are friendly staff and helpful people. There restrooms were very clean considering it was since you get dirty easy from pulling parts. Highly recommended if you a part and willing to take them off. Fair prices.

I needed an alternator at the last minute, it was an emergency! I got there a few minutes after 5 pm, they closed at 5:30. The great guy working at the door said they werent letting anyone else in but he asked if we could get it off the vehicle by 5:30 and we said yes, well try our very best. We got it off, checked out and were in the parking lot by 5:26! Shout out to him for letting us in last minute! 😊

My daughter needed a starter so we looked and found one there at the Akron store. They had a sign saying not able to offer parts pulling at this time but the store Manager went above and beyond and pulled the starter out of a Mazda 5 which is no easy task. Everyone there is friendly and so very helpful! Thanks Guys!!

Good little junkyard. Look at their website to check inventory and location of cars before you go. While you are in there check around a little as you may find a vehicle that has not been inventoried yet. Prices are fair and staff was very friendly and helpful.

That was fun for the first time..Once I figured out where the rows were marked on the cars and that each had a tag, I didnt consult the online guide just looked for my car..Surprisingly, I found one that had an intact drivers door and got my part..I couldnt even figure out how to look for it online since I didnt know what it was called.. This worked..

They didnt have exactly what I needed but they have some stuff I needed for my 2010 Fusion but the customer service was very helpful and they help me set something up on my phone so that if they get any 2010 to 2012 Fusion SEL work for my car front end that itll give me a notification and let me know what the three closest Pull-A-Parts near me thanks for the help guys good job

Ted provided fast and friendly customer service. Very knowledgeable and was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Was able to let me know write away if the vehicle type I was looking for was there and what the probability of the parts being on the vehicle were and what the condition would be. I will come back for any needed parts because of service like this.

Ted and fellow staff at the Akron Pull A Part are very friendly, and Helpful.Prices on parts are reasonable. They have a free VIP membership for customers that have projects where they need multiple parts. They have rentable golf carts so that you can get around their lot and move parts as long as they arent the listed parts not allowed on the Golf Carts. If you need something as small as a lug nut or two... no charge. Amazing place to get used parts for your car, with Amazing Customer service.. plan on returning for future car parts needs.

I love being able to go and get my parts personally. Get some fresh air, and just wander around. It brings back memories of the past. Its almost impossible to work on new vehicles as everything is computerized.

This is not the place to buy parts from. They treat you like a criminal. They take your picture when you come in And the employees do not know parts so they charge you whatever they want to. I go there to pick up a molding for the outside of my car they tell me I have a dash pad. O- Stars for me. I will dive to Youngtown u pull it here on out.

Told me they had a radio there charged me 2 dollars there was not a radio anywhere never go or recommend them again

I came all the way from Mansfield and currently working on restoring an ultra rare 1991 Eagle Premier ES Limited and thanks to these guys having the cars rebadged and rarer cousin, a 1991 Dodge Monaco, I was able to get parts I never thought my Eagle would ever get again, even RockAuto couldnt help! I had a very similar Premier as my first car so finding a PVC valve, a spare engine cover, oil cap, power steering fluid reservoir and the bracket that holds the reservoir in like new condition for under $40 was definitely a huge help. You guys are awesome and I thank you all for your help at keeping a precious memory of mine alive! Will definitely return if I get my hands on another project, was worth the 65 minute drive! 😊

Ted went out of his way to grab a jump box so I could move a set of power seats to get to the bolts holding them in he also helped me load them in the yard truck and took them up to the check out so I didn’t have to wheel it all the way up there. Give that dude a promotion he goes above and beyond everytime I’ve been there.

Wish theyd lower the costs. Some things are too close to the cost of new. They are pulling parts for your now! Im sure its do due to the pandemic. Very convenient for those who cant put the time into pulling parts.

I live in canton and usually go to pull a part hereand its clean and organized. I had to go to Akrons the other day to pull a rear end off of a truck. I first noticed the vehicles are so close together there you cant move at all and old parts, tires and rims thrown all over place. The truck i needed the rear end off of wasnt even off the ground so i had to dig under the tires to get the wheels off. It was a mess! I would avoid going to that location if at all possible. I guess its poor lazy staff.

Great people to work with there but I have to the Canton and Cleveland ones to and I feel that all three of them should train there employees what exactly the part they are looking at and what components actually has a solenoid and what a electrical connection that is just to show that a door is latched but other than that thanks for overcharging me

Love this place so easy to find the vehicle you and looking for no trudging through mud only wish there was one closer to where I live because I travel 2 hrs to get there but it is worth it

Seems since Ive been coming here for years the prices seem to have risen on a lot of parts... Spent 2.5 hrs pulling a PLASTIC BUMPER COVER which is listed as 40 dollars on their site... And they wanted to charge me for a full bumper which is 93 dollars... After i made sure i spent all that time taking any and all extra bolt on pieces ( grill fog lights splash tray brackets etc) and when i proceeded to tell them its a bumper cover they wanted to tell me i was wrong and moral of this story... I left the damned bumper right there on the counter and left ✌

This is definitely the best mechanic store ever you cant beat the prices and they usually have the parts you need and the best part of it all is if its a bad part you can always pull another even if its a new purchase its so worth the visit...

The staff is very helpful, and theres a great deal of organization here. With a vast array of cars n trucks, with very detailed descriptions of where your make and model of vehicle is setting. Cars are stacked up on two sets of rims per tire. So plenty of room to move all over for the part needed. Great place

I love Pull-A-Part. However I think it’s ridiculous I can’t call and get a hold of someone at the actual store for a question I had.

Very Cool! Just tagging along with the hubby as he picks cars cleaner than a chicken bone. Got to ride around in a golf cart looking at all sorts of discarded vehicles neatly arranged and prepared for the taking!

I was there today March 12th because the Cleveland store didnt have what I needed the golf carts were set up neatly there was at least 5 available the lot looks good the Cleveland lot is a dump all the golf carts are broken Akron is well-run

Hard trying to find speaker kicker box or stereo not in options

The central call center will tell me that a part is at a certain location and even tell me whether or not the part i need is for a manual or automatic transmission. But the store cant tell me whether or not my part is there or not and will not tell me if its automatic or standard shift.Pull-A-Part sucks

For a DIY guy like myself Pull-A-Part is a great place to save some money on parts. The staff there are always friendly and helpful and I always find what I need for a fraction of the cost at an auto parts store. I went today and Barbie was very nice and helpful. Pull-A-Part will always have my business.

Hey this place is great, for all sorts of parts that you can’t find anywhere but the dealer. And you’ll save money by getting them here. Just make sure you got a good tool assortment and you know exactly what you need. Be intuitive in finding a good replacement part and don’t expect the part to fall at your feet as you enter the yard.

My experience here as a first time visit was great. Ashley at the checkout counter was so knowledgeable and did a great job. It is like a wonderland of cars. Horrible experience! Promptly yelled at upon walking in the door. Why? Because we were exercising our right to breathe. We fall under the exemptions put into place by the governor yet we were not only denied service but also yelled at and told they didnt care about our medical conditions. We were also that if we have a medical condition we should stay at home. So if you have asthma, COPD, PTSD from past trauma, etc, you will be screamed at, told to leave, and denied service.

Used to work at pull a part stores back in 2010... They started with a great business model...It seems like now everything has a *technicality* associated with it as to returns and what parts they will/wont sell.Some of the part prices have gone up significantly excessive to what goes in to pulling the part.The way they charge you for each and every bolt is crazy too... You can accidentally get charged more money for unknowingly having an extra piece of trim.Go back to the old model. Yall lost yourselves somewhere along the way.

Customer service at this junk yard is bellow satisfactory, very rude, i bought a wheel that still had a tire on it i had to tell the lady 5 times that i did not need the tire just the wheel each time she ignored me instead she brought another lady over to tell me that the tire was good witch it wasnt it was bold on one edge and had a nail in it i still tried to tell them i didnt need it, they claimed they had no one that can take it off when they had 4 guys working in the yard so i had to buy the tire and rim just to get what i needed, when i brought it back they wouldnt take it said it was out of warrenty sorry if i had to work all week cant stop to take it back on time, again she brought the same woman over to tell me the same thing the lady thst showed up was rude so i am out of 25 dollars and i had to give it to them because i didnt need it, not keepimg something like that laying around my house with no use, parts in the yard are ok just the customer service really sucks

This place is great. They went above and beyond. I came here to get a couple of tires. Unfortunately I have a broken pelvis from an auto accident. I cant remember the girls name but she knows who she is. She went way over her job description to give me all the help I needed. And I needed a lot. I really appreciate the courtesy I was given here. The employees were friendly and their website makes it easy to find what Im looking for. I like the location of this one, its not out of the way like a lot of other Pull-a-Parts Ive been to. Prices are cheap too, and the employees judging the prices make fair pricing decisions.

I have shopped here on more than one occasion and each time the service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and when i had to return a fuel pump they quickly took care of the issue and pointed me to the correct one that i needed. The lot itself seemed to be pretty much in order and was not hard to navigate. They make the shopping experience very easy and are always ready to help.Keep up the good work!

REALLY getting sick and tired of being nickled and dimed every visit. It is almost to the point that the prices are the same as a full service yard that pulls the parts for you! Better yet, I can buy them on EBAY and have them shipped to my door. On my last visit I was informed that 4 of the parts that I buy on a weekly basis are now another $10 each. With the constant price increase, I will need to start shopping somewhere else.
