Best service, honest, fair prices! I called Lakes because of their reputation in the community, and I was not disappointed. My furnace went out during a cold snap of subzero temperatures, and Lakes got a new furnace in my home the very next day for a fair price. They could’ve charged me anything, but they did not take a vantage of my situation. Everyone conducted himself or herself like a complete professional. Everyone wore masks, and everyone was polite.

I am new to the area and shortly after moving into our new home, we learned the zone heating was not working. I received a couple of quotes. Lakes Heating was thorough and quoted us only for work that was required to repair the issue -- 75% less than another quote! The work was done scheduled and completed quickly -- all working great. Lakes Heating originally installed my HVAC system in 1992 when the house was built. I replaced the AC once and until now have had the same furnace for 28 years! Although it was still working i decided to get a new furnace. I got three quotes and Lakes was the least expensive by over $3000. The crew was friendly, helpful, respectful and did what i think is an awesome job. They even reused 2 of the zone controllers to save me money, saying, when they break spend the money then. I couldnt have been more pleased. with every aspect of my experience with Lakes Heating.

I got a very quick appointment. Ryan arrived on time. He called to give me his ETA. He was very knowledgeable and had my A/C back up and running in minutes. Lakes is an honest company and everyone is very friendly. I will never use anyone else for my HVAC needs.

Lakes installed a heat pump for us in November 2019. The heat works great, but when we turn up the AC in June...Wow so nice! It keeps our home comfortable all yr round. Thanks Lakes.

I called Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning due to furnace not working. Within just a couple hours, a technician (Ryan) was at my house. He diagnosed the problem quickly and knew what part was needed. He didnt have the part on his truck, so he had to drive to a local supplier to get it. He wasnt gone long at all, and shortly thereafter, I was back in business! The price was fair and the service was GREAT! Highly recommend!!!

We had to call them for a repair because they installed our heated floors and the company we usually use said they didn’t want to mess with the system because it wasn’t installed to code. We told Lake the exact parts we needed and they still charged us for a service call on top of the repairs. When we bought the house, we also found Lake had installed a furnace incorrectly causing water to flow out into the water pan.

I attempted to contact the office twice. Once through an online inquiry and then through their answering service. After not hearing back, I called again and scheduled a day and time a technician to give us an estimation of the cost to repair our AC. The person who was sent could only quote for a new AC. A new AC was not mentioned or discussed on the previous phone call. I’m sure their work is good judging by the other reviews but this poor customer service experience has resulted in me looking to other companies.

Great service reasonable cost

My experience was terrible. Air conditioner was blowing warm air. Through a friend, he recood this company. Technician came out...did a quick look...said the compressor was out....and needed new unit. Charged me $70 and said a salesman would call me. It took the salesman two days to call me in this 90 degree heat! Got estimates from $2500 to $3200 for replacement.I found out from a friend that the unit just might need a capacitor as compressors rarely go out. I removed the capacitor myself as I found it is like changing a light bulb. I went to an appliance parts store and got a replacement capacitor for $25 and did the very simple install....and the unit works fine.The technician should have known this and lied about the compressor being bad to get me to buy a whole new unit. Truly a company with no integrity. I wonder how many people they have ripped off by lying about just replacing a cheap capacitor and talking them into a new unit for thousands instead of a hundred dollar repair. Disgusting.

Three calls and each time the techs failed to do what I paid them to do. DIAGNOSE THE CONCERN. Three service visits = no fix. Manager refused to refund. I still dont have A/C or a diagnosis. What did I pay for?

My furnace went out one day last week. I called Lakes on the recommendation of a few friends. They came out by 10am that same day. The young man that was there to fix my furnace also ran a few tests due to the age of the unit. I am certain that because he ran those tests I am still alive! I had carbon monoxide not venting properly and ended up needing a new furnace. The sales person came out within an hour and I was able to get a new furnace installed the next day. The workers worked the entire day with no breaks, cleaned up the area and were very polite. I had a very good experience with this company and will refer to them from now on. I now have peace of mind that I am no longer being poisoned by my faulty furnace. Also the 18 months same as cash made it so I could afford this unit at this time.

They had the best price around for getting a bypass humidifier installed, however they also anchored a drain pipe to the floor completely crooked and left the cement dust there. Youd think they would clean up after themselves.

I just bought a house they have been here 3 times for different repairs.also I bought the air scrubber and was very sceptical at first.but bought it anyways.at first I didnt like the ozone smell but they came out and have me a different bulb that doesnt have the smell and its the best investment Ive made so far in my house!I have bad allergies and woke up every morning and through the day with bad sneeze attacks that last for minutes at a time.since I got the scrubber I havent had anny more allergic attacks.i highly recommend it if you have allergies.
