I received exceptional service from Jennings Heating and Cooling. My wife is due in 4 weeks and they went out of their way to repair my air conditioning and make her a little more comfortable. They came out to diagnose the problem the same day I called and quickly made the repair. I found them to be honest and transparent.The service technician, Andy, was extraordinary. He took time to explain the issue so that I understood the problem and the recommended solution. I am happy with the service and recommend Jennings to anyone. I am a customer for life.
This is a very reliable and professional company.Five years ago when I moved to the condo they came to repair the heating system. They did, but advised me that I should get a whole new system. I did, and I’m glad that I did.
Price was quite a bit higher than my other estimate And Im on a budget But the professionalism and kindness of Bob Goff the salesman Was unmatched I can tell that This is a great company Just from speaking with Bob, he knew right away I wasnt going with that price but he still stuck around to give me advice, If I Could give 10 Stars I would!!!
I can not say enough good things about Jennings. We had contacted them a few years back. I believe it was for a furnace issue. They returned our call promptly. And someone was able to see us very quickly. They corrected the issue and were very courteous. The left behind a nice sheet that listed their services and maintenance plan. When our AC started leaking they were the first we called. They had someone out the same day to troubleshoot the problem. Turns out our system was old and probably needed replaced. They got it back to operational status then gave us a range of options for us to replace the system. They were very patient with us as we were on vacation. The cost of the first maintenance was rolled off the price of our new central AC unit. The arrived on time. The two gentlemen who worked in and outside of my house for the entire day were very professional and very neat. I would say they even left my basement cleaner than when they arrived. I would highly recommend Jennings for any HVAC service in the area.
Andy is a very cordial and polite gentleman. He is a positive for your company. He was considerate by putting shoe covers on when entering house. We have a very old furnace which stopped heating. I called Jennings at 8:00 this morning. Holly answered and was so helpful and kind. She said a tech would be out between 9 and 12 today! Update: The company made a mistake however their responsiveness and desire to make it right was above and beyond. Not many companies have such dedicated customer service.We had an electric emergency. The first person my wife spoke with was great and guaranteed they’d come out. Another person confirmed the appt time and told her they’ll call on the way. She called once they were an hour late for the appt window and was told they can’t tell us if they’re coming any longer. Maybe well hear something tomorrow. They don’t know. We waited almost 6 hours on them during an electric emergency. It’s completely unacceptable. It’s extremely lucky we found someone else to come and help us so late at night after this company didn’t show. You don’t schedule service during a serious issue then blow it off. I’ve never experienced such negligence in any industry when it comes to an urgent matter.

Our 29 year old hot water tank busted this morning and within an hour, we had standing water everywhere. Called Jennings and they responded immediately and had a tech out in an hour. Less than 5 hours after we had an issue, we had a whole new hot water tank installed and everything hooked back up. Our tech, John, was very friendly, professional, and did an outstanding job making sure our needs were satisfied.Have used them before to have repairs done for our furnace and we wont hesitate to call them in the future for any needs.Thanks again for the timely response!

I had an unfamiliar smell coming from my furnace room, and not only did he help with ensuring that there were no gas leaks with the furnace when servicing, but went above and beyond by great insights on possible causes. Our furnace stopped working Saturday night. Using Home Advisor for my ZIP code I asked for a reply from four companies. Jennings Heating and Cooling responded very quickly. They could not get a technician dispatched that night but sent one out early Sunday morning. The repair took a few minutes; it was a dirty flame sensor. The technician was very capable, fast and polite. They offered me yearly maintenance for my furnace and air conditioner at a reasonable price ($192). They will check the furnace in the fall and air conditioner in the spring. I am very pleased with the service I received.

Their crew did a great job installing, testing and explaining the nuances of a automatic backup generator. Will also be using the pros at Jennings for regular servicing of the unit. I am glad I chose Jennings for the installation of the hot water heater. The technician was on time.... he was very professional.... he explained the process of the installation.... gave me the time estimate it was going to take.... and answered any questions I had. Had them install a whole home humidifier. Forgot the guy name, but he was very professional and knowledgeable of the product being installed, how it works, and how to care for it. Had a few bumps with having proper equipment, and being on-time, but the quality outweighed that.I can feel the difference already! Love it.

Will NEVER use again!!! I scheduled a $69.00 AC tune-up over 3 weeks ago for today between 9am - 12 (noon). They said called my cell and could not reach me so they sent their tech to other emergency appointments and said I would have to reschedule. I dont TRUST Jennings and will NEVER use AGAIN!
Great service by Jennings. This was part of an annual maintenance plan we purchased. Ricky(technician) was extremely courteous, timely, and helpful. He discovered a carbon build up problem on our 20 year old furnace and fixed it as a part of the maintenance program - worth the cost for sure and looking forward to the same great service in the spring with our AC units. Our hot water heater sprang a leak and all told got a new one installed in less than 36-hrs ... technician was very knowledgeable and a perfectionist (which I loved).
The service provider was top notch. He used his shoe wraps to protect our floors. He clearly explained the issues that needed to be addressed currently and what future needs he expects to need addressed . He was able to do the repairs immediately. Cold front was moving in. He probably saved me busted pipes as well. On a Saturday no less. A sad thing though, I just paid a big box hardware store a $9 for a furnace check up, less than 2 weeks before this all happened. You think Im going to ask for my $ back. Darn tootin I will.😂
I have used them before and been very happy. This time there was a slight miscommunication, as I was not aware that they would not come if I was not able to answer the phone call saying that they were on the way. When I was able to call the office, they were great about working with me to get someone over very soon and within my schedule, even though it was my fault that the first appointment didnt happen.The technician who came, Brian, is always very helpful and happy to explain things. He does a great job.I will definitely continue to use them, but will make sure Im available by phone before the appointment next time.
The installers were very knowledgeable and polite. They worked hard to complete the installation in 1 day. We are satisfied with our furnace although it does seem a little loud. We have not used the air conditioning yet due to it being winter.
Jennings came out for a diagnosis that cost $99 because my T&P valve was dumping water. The tech looked at it and wasnt here 5 minutes before he told me I needed a new expansion tank. He said he wasnt 100 percent but pretty sure and he would need to do more work to be certain. Also said that Jennings wouldnt let him do the work necessary to confirm because it involved labor. I asked, Isnt that what Im paying $99 in a diagnosis fee for? To know what the problem is. He decided to look again and said he could test something to confirm. Then he said after just another couple of minutes he was certain I needed a new expansion tank. I asked him how much they charge and he told me $750 and the $99 doesnt go towards that price. Expansion tanks cost $25-$50 so I asked if $750 was for a new water heater or expansion tank. He said only the expansion tank and it would be $1500 if I wanted a new water heater. I said, No thanks! They are a complete scam. The tech was super friendly and respectful of the COVD situation but its obvious they train these guys to rope people in and rip them off. Beware!

Jennings is really awesome. They have done all of the HVAC work in my house over the years, including install of AC, replacement furnace and maintenance. They have always been priced reasonably and extremely professional (honestly beyond my expectations with repairmen/contractors). However, my reasoning for this review is a repair. My furnace went out Thanksgiving Eve. Not only did they have a repairman to my house within 45 min of placing an after-hours call, he went out of his way to get parts from a Warehouse after-hours and came back to complete the job. He also went over all service options to make the expense most cost efficient to me. Customer for life.
Good service and knowledgeable technician on steam radiators. Watch out for excessive markups on parts. Tried to sell me a steam valve for my radiator for $120. The exact same part was found on Amazon and other HVAC marketplaces for $20 - $40.

The whole experience was good from requesting the appointment to work completed. I was able to get an appt that fit my work schedule. The serviceman gave me options for fixing the problem. He was prompt, courteous and informed.
The Jennings HVAC tech (Dave) checked our furnace for possible carbon monoxide emissions. The furnace checked out fine and our carbon monoxide detector already had a new battery in it. We apparently had a false alarm from a defective carbon monoxide detector, which we will replace. Dave arrived about an hour after our initial call to Jennings Heating for help. So the response was relatively quick and Dave was courteous and efficient.
I had a heating situation late on a Friday night. An operator took my call and scheduled a technician that evening. Dave arrived within the next two hours, evaluated the problem, did diagnostics, cleaned, brushed, educated me on furnace construction (which I appreciate). Dave was friendly and professional. Problem solved. Well done.
George came out for a maintenance checkup for the electrical panel in my parents home. He did a very thorough and experienced diagnostic of their whole home, made clear and concise recommendations, and offered a bid with multiple options for repairs and upgrades. I engaged Jennings on an emergency basis to diagnose a problem with a boiler based system, something Jennings stated they could handle. The Technician was responsive and gave a preliminary diagnosis that included labor (with a parts quote to follow) as well as options to replace the current system versus repair. Following that, I had a sales person come on site the next day to quote the replacement option.Despite the stated urgency, a full day went by before the sales person called to state that he spoke to the owner and they weren’t really interested in a repair or replacement. He also stated they could not find the parts and their technicians who could handle the job were tied up for 2 weeks. The conversation seemed veiled, unprofessional and reeked of a brush off. I contacted a local competitor the same day who came on site, diagnosed the problem, got the system running temporarily within 30 minutes, located parts and completely resolved the issue in 14 hours at a reasonable price. They are now my lumber for life.I could not have been more disappointed - saying no is always an option but avoiding a tough job and seemingly cherry picking rubs me the wrong way.

Very disappointed with the price given to repair my issue. My heater was making terrible noise. The inducer motor went out. I asked for price to repair and was quoted somewhere around $950... he then said I could join a program where I pay $25 a month, and I’d get 10% off.. which is still about $850.. so in 4 months I’d pay what I would have anyways.. but don’t worry because I’d get two free cleanings a year.. again.. the math didn’t make sense because paying them to come out twice a year rather then the plan was still cheaper.. here is the worst part.. I looked online, purchased the part myself and took me 14 min to replace when I got it.. so I could have been ripped off almost $900 for someone to spend 5 min vs me doing it.. absolutely crazy. I asked how long it would take him he said one hour. So are they quoting like $600/hr? Even if they charged $300 for the same part I bought for $75???? Don’t trust them. Major major rip off when you can save money with a mom and pop place. I have no idea what I was doing going into this but was as simple as 7 screws and unplugging a wire. Was off to good start thinking this was a good company and now I know I can’t trust anything they say.
The staff are nice and accommodating. However, I believe their technical knowledge can improve. They put in a new furnace, A/C, humidifier and purifier. The A/C does not cool the house that well and I believe it is undersized. My biggest issue is the humidifier does not change the humidity in my house and the humidifier leaks. I do appreciate my heating bills were reduced about 10%. My previous furnace would warm the house 10 degrees in 30 minutes. My new furnace will warm the house in about 120 minutes. Jennings has great staff but I will use a different company in the future.

I requested a quote to install a breaker and outlet to use Ann emergency backup generator. The schedule was made and very punctual...however despite my clear intentions on what I wanted I was quoted for a much more expensive option to the tune of 10K+. Despite emails and waiting on a supplier to verify that they can provide the interlock switch and breaker...I have yet to receive responses. Ironically the work was quoted at 2K while another company JW Didado came out very quickly quoted the work and completed the job for 600 dollars. All before Jennings could reply with answers from their supplier. I would use another company any day unless you want to buy only what theyre selling.

They have been exceptionally responsive and professional solving a perplexing problem. As much as I wanted to get upset with them for failed attempts, I could not because they were so responsive. And they did get it figured out!
My electric boiler was running constantly and not heating. The service tech said that the pressure was too low and that the reason was that the expansion tank was bad. He said that it would be almost $1K to replace it. I checked elsewhere and was told that the tank was fine and just needed to be recharged. That was done for free and everything is working now. The tech from Jennings was either incompetent or deceptive..
I was very impressed with the knowledge of the people who came and installed a new A/C unit and a new electrical panel! Everyone came on time, completed the work without any problems that needed follow-up, and courteously masked up and cleaned up. I will definitely call them again with any future needs!

Ill try to keep this as short as possible. This place is a complete scam.Had them out in September because they replaced something on my air conditioner and then my furnace went out. Brian Easterling came out, looked at my furnace and said it was the circuit board.Quoted me 2200 to get the circuit board or 5500 for a low end furnace.Looked around and eventually found out a buddy of mine did HVAC so he came and looked at it. Circuit board was fine, there was another problem so I ended up getting a new furnace. Here was his quote.355 for a circuit board2200 for a brand new furnace.Now I recognize that having a friend do it, is cutting the cost down dramatically, but 2200 for a part that he got in less than an hour and installed in an hour is ridiculous. On top of that, it wasnt even what was wrong with the furnace.Look local, check your friends, check around in other cities, but do not shop here. Their goal is to fleece people who dont know enough about HVAC as they can.
My experience with Jennings Heating was great. Melissa took care of setting up the appointment, Sean was the lead installer for replacement of the furnace and AC. They took great care in protecting the house during installation as well as adhering to COVID protective recommendations. They were very courteous and always professional throughout the process.

The technician came into my home without a mask. Per company and COVID guidelines I was assured he would be wearing one. He then proceeded to put on shoe coverings, which was great. Until he then proceeded to wear said coverings out to his van and then back through my house. He tried to upsell me on a monthly service plan. When I stated we don’t make financial decisions without discussing them with each other and I would speak to my husband about it, he guffawed. After completing the furnace cleaning he took 20 minutes to complete paperwork in his van. He came back in saying the system was down and couldn’t provide a receipt. When I went to pay with a credit card he had already circled cash (who carries $130 in cash around these days?) and looked at me funny. I said I’d write a check if it was easier. At this point he’s wearing a see through neck gator which is completely useless. He again tries to sell me the service plan I’ve made clear I don’t want, then tells me “if I want to spend an extra $69 for not signing up that’s my business”. Yes, it is my business. And in the future my extra $69 and all monies will go to a business that respects my health, opinion, and what I have to say the first time.
Dave B. Was very kind and helpful today. He walked me through everything he was doing and showed me the part on my AC he would need to replace in order to get it back up and running. He cleaned off the filters on the outside of the unit and didnt leave until he was sure the temperature dropped appropriately. I would definitely recommend Dave B. And all of Jennings team when you need help with furnace or AC.
I’ve had the Jennings team out to the house on 3 occasions now. They have been nothing but professional and hard workers each time. Always getting the job done and doing so with a friendly demeanor. We have had both Andrew and George here and I would recommend each of them.
Dave was very friendly. He explained what was going on with my AC unit which is 27 years old. He also advised me as to the price I would be charged to get it running again. Dave told me that the AC would probably be good for the next couple of years. He told me that the unit had a small leak and the refrigerant would probably have to be refilled over the next couple of years. I discussed different options with Dave and decided that a new AC unit would be needed. He then told me that if I wanted to replace the furnace also that it would save me money. I felt no pressure from Dave when I decided I would go with both. I didnt check off Good value because I really had no idea what to compare it with. Dave also mentioned to me that when I made my decision about replacement that all charges today would be applied to the new units.
Jennings did a great job installing a 12KW standby generator yesterday.

Dave H. was my technician and he was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and saved a baby bunny that had hidden itself behind my A/C unit before he finished up the repairs. Ive worked with Jennings twice in the last five years and they always provide extremely prompt, comprehensive service.
