My kids look forward to each visit with Dr Cullen. We have been coming here for 10 + years now. Always treated fairly. Always treated kindly.My children may have had emergencies and Dr Cullen and staff have gone above and beyond to take care of them.My family trusts this office and couldnt recommend them enough

Only giving a one star cause I cant leave a 0, dr cullen treated us with no respect and talked down to us in a rude manner, as New parents who have zero experience I wouldnt recommend bringing your child if you are also a first time parent wished we read the reviews first....

Bad experience w/ Dr. CullenMy 3.5 year old daughters first dental appointment and nothing went as smooth as expected. The only people that gave a nice impression were the assistant & front desk ladies.I tried to be as understanding and patient as possible.The doctor pretty much blamed me for everything wrong with my daughter, he used no tact when communicating, did not embody professional demeanor around the patient or parent. Dr. Cullen made no effort to listen and when he listened it was only to response. I truly wanted to like this Doctor because he seems to have such a nice welcoming website, and he is the only doctor practicing in the office,I thought he could be more dedicative towards my little one, but I was so wrong.I wished I would have read the Google reviews sooner.It would have saved me time and frustration and headaches.Dr. Cullen is specialized at providing a service with solutions, while nobody minds being giving discrete advice, he pretty much went overboard about how much work it was going to take to do fillings in her teeth. He seemed annoyed, complained too much, and seemed to hate his job.He did not feel any sensitivity towards a single mom trying to keep her life together while going through divorce and working jobs.So many things went wrong, I literally asked for my record.I switched to Yuma Dentistry 4 Kids I went for a 2nd opinion and they treated my daughter and myself with respect and compassion. They understood my concerns and offered a solution, I felt at peace.I would not recommend him unfortunately, he seems pretty consistent with his unprofessional attitude, and after reading other reviews, I do not trust him.

Per unexpected life events two of my children missed appointment last week. When I called the office today I was advices by receptionist and office manager that NONE of my children can be seen at that dental office any more. Very disappointed that they terminated my other 3 children when I have attended all scheduled appointment for them for the past couple of years. Why should others be terminated just because you are related to the person who missed the appointment.

IF YOUR A YOUNG MOTHER OR WORRIED ABOUT DISCRIMINATION OF ANY KIND DO NOT COME HERE . After going to a different dentist i FORGOT how it feels to be respected . If a dentist is giving his OPINION on how you give your kid to much sugar, walk out the door and never look back . Even if its true, that is not the job they signed up for . Love and care is what a dentist should provide, this dentist isssssssss LACKKINNGGG

They have taken care of my girls dental needs since they were born. Excellent and professional. Unlike myself growing up, they have no fear of the dentist thanks to Dr. Cullen and staff. They love coning in. And of course visiting Gus is always a plus. I highly recommend Pediatric Dentistry of Yuma.

From the moment I walked in all the workers were amazing. The original intake aid was amazing, and made my 5 year old feel really comfortable. Later my son sat in the chair where the dentist and assistant took time to play with my son for 5 minutes with a game they had. I always feel like when going to the doctor they get you in and out, and dont build rapport. This wasnt the case.Also we originally started coming here because another dentistry said my daughter needed surgery to take out a tooth (a $300 procedure). The appointment wasnt until Oct so we went here. They got her in, in 2 days, and said no surgery was needed. The Doctor said the tooth was about to fall out, and paying for the procedure would be a waste of money. 3 week later my daughters tooth fell.

Dr Cullen demonstrated a lack of sensitivity and respect to my wife during a recent visit saying, Well,we all know who the boss is... when discussing dental hygiene habits and the reluctance of a 5 year old to brush her teeth.Poor customer service and I question if this cacasian male would have spoken with a higher level of respect if he were speaking to another cacasian male rather than a younger hispanic woman.Superiority complex? MaybeAfter speaking with the office manager I was left with the impression that:1) In Dr. Cullens office, Dr Cullen is in charge and can continue speaking to clients in this manner2) The importance and value of common courtesy/respect is superceded by the importance of dental hygiene.3) No disrespect was intended, therefore we shouldnt be concerned and there would be no need for corrective actions to be takenI can only ASSUME that this may be the experience other families have in the future based on the way his behavior was dismissed as being no big deal and qualified by trying to explain the importance of dental hygiene.Long post for a simple comment made by The Doc,however, if my wife had been treated as an equal and spoken to with respect there would be no need for writing this review.Moral of the story-Nobody likes to be talked down to and be made to feel like an inadequate parent.

Dr. Cullen and his staff are amazing! I have 2 children ( one on the autism spectrum) and he is great with both! I’ve been able to get same day appointments when it was needed. I highly recommend them!

I have an autistic child and I can’t praise this practice enough. They are so great with him treats him with the best care for my child and myself. He comes in and hugs the drs wife and leaves very happy! I recommend this practice to any and everyone! They are great!!!

We have been going to Dr. Cullen for 17 years, He has treated my children and then my grandchildren. I love how he interacts with my kids, very patient, very kind. My kids have always left his office feeling as though they have visited with a friend, not seen a dentist that only listened to what mom said. The staff is just as great as he is.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KID HERE! Worst dentist ever. I took my 3 year old daughter here as an introduction to dentistry. She was nervous and didnt want to hold her mouth open, so Dr. Cullen AND his wife forcefully held her down. She was so upset she was vomiting. I had to rip her out of the chair. Even the assistant was horrified. Then they insulted my parenting for letting her get her way. We left in tears and they charged me. I couldnt even talk about the experience for months. I wish I would have reported it. Please be warned.

Dentist needs to practice cultural sensitivity. Comes off as overbearing and his advice is unsolicited.

We love Dr. Cullen and his amazing staff!! They have a clean, well kept office and super friendly staff who are patient and take the time to answer any questions we might have.

Dr. and Mrs. Cullen take the best care of my children. I grew up going to this dentist so I know first hand how they are with their patients and I am lucky enough to see how caring and wonderful they are with my own kids. Their whole staff is amazing and very thorough.

Top notch. Wait is never long, friendly staff, doctor is great and you are never reeled into procedures that aren’t needed.

Thank you Dr. & Mrs Cullen for making my daughter feel comfortable! They have got to be one of the best in town! The staff are amazing, they have next day appointments, visits are quick, and they all care, including Gus ( the office puppy dog). My daughter showed up to her first appointment a lil nervous and now she can’t wait to be seen by them again. Lol.

My Daughter was 2 at the time close to turning 3 this was her first dentist, the first few visits were great no problems... My child is someone that doesn’t take to strangers very well at that age she was always nervous, trying to comfort her as a mother I tell my princess if she’s good and let’s the dentist check her teeth I’ll buy her a toy for motivation! Can you relate? Well by the dentist I was then lectured not to bribe my child when this is a mandatory thing. So in my head I’m thinking gosh kind of rude must be having a bad day right?..... well the next time my daughter went in it took them 8 months to get her in to fix her teeth they say it’s becauae of insurance but really? So I go to her appt. they settle into a room then put the gas mask on and asked me to leave the room and wait in waiting room. Of course I was not happy..... 45 min later the assistant comes to get me,so I head back. What I saw was horrific! My almost 3 year old screaming and crying like if she was dying so I grabbed her and she was drench in sweat I mean full of sweat I’m like what’s wrong? The dentist looks at me and says well we know who has the pants in the family and that my daughter is out of control they couldn’t work on her teeth. My 1st reaction was what you didn’t work on her teeth this whole time, 45 min and nothing??? I was so pissed how they treated my child and then down grade me as a mother! So while I walked out I asked for my daughter dental records and I never looked back.... I wished I was wiser because I was young only 19 at the time if I knew what I know now I would of took action and reported it. My daughter was tortured by this. To get her to see another dentist was so hard but I made sure I was always in the room from then out!!!! Shes 8 now and we found a dentist that she became comfortable with and her teeth are great and we are treated worthy but till this day she remembers what happen at her first dentist and she never wants to go back! Makes me sad that I even took her there in the first place.

Everyones always nice and smiling! Definitely respectable and kid friendly! Dr Cullen is the Best!!
