The previous post to my echos my sentiments! PA Philomena Walker made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She addressed all my concerns and I sincerely felt like she cared. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

I was sincerely impressed with the physician assistant, Philomena Walker. Not only was she experienced, professional and extremely competent, her bed side manner was that of a sincerely caring and empathetic individual. I have been in the medical field for years and have rarely encountered anyone who was truly meant for the medical field. Philomena is on the top of that short list. Thank you, Phil, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking such good care of us.

They took the time to explain what was going on at the cellular level with the skin condition (s) I presented with. The doctor drew pictures and explained what is happening in a relatable and not overwhelming way. Then he took the time to explain how the various medications would treat those problems.

I have only had mt initial consultation to have a lump removed but when I met with Dr Damien Roderick, he took time to make me feel like I was his only patient. I also appreciated the fact that I called one day and had an appointment the next day and my procedure scheduled for the next week. I did not have to wait over 2 or 3 months to get in to be seen which has been a frustrating process with other offices.

Philomena Walker is the most sweetest, caring PA I’ve ever encountered. The staff was excellent also and accommodating since the call center girl who I hd booked appointment with was completely incompetent. She didn’t listen to me obviously, setting my appointment for a completely different time/date. Giving me misinformation on my costs for the procedure I was being seen for. But the actual office way made up for it. I made my follow up appointment and I WILL BE BACK. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻❤️

Definitely wasnt impressed. I had to pay $150 for a 10-minute consultation just for the lady to tell me she wouldnt (not couldnt) do what I wanted but would refer me to someone. So even though I called to make the appointment and told them exactly what I wanted and wrote it on the paperwork I had to fill out they still were unable to do it even though its listed as a service on their website. So basically paid $150 for a 10 minute visit just for someone to say I cant do what you said you wanted and that is listed on our website, but Ill send you someone who will but pay me anyway. Not to mention when I called to make the appointment they said nothing about a consultation fee nor did they say anything until I actually showed up after I did the paperwork. I wish I could just get paid to list services on my website and then when people come in for him say I wont do them and then refer them to someone else and get paid anyway! I also explain to the lady at the front desk that I was military and I showed her my ID asking if they had a discount and she kept saying that my insurance should be paying for it but I was merely trying to explain to her that I was paying out of pocket I was just asking if they offered a military discount and after going around with her for about 2 to 3 minutes about it I dont think she had a clue what I was trying to get at. I simply asking if they offered a discount I was not trying to offer military insurance to pay. Its been over a week now and Ive still not heard anything from whoever my referral was for, $150 for literally nothing!

They were so kind and helpful. I love these people. They give the best service hands down! I will only go to them for any further skin treatments.

Philomena is a lifesaver. She took me in with short notice and handled my urgent issue with so much patience, care and grace. She was so kind and generous with her time, and took efforts to follow up with me. I cant recommend this team enough, and if ever the need arises again, Philomena will be the first person I turn to.

I rarely give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement. But here, at Bermans in Yuba City is most deserving of the 5 stars. From the time I walked in, until I met Phil, the PA, it was friendly, and comforting. The price is right as a self pay. I have been back 5 times, and will investigate more of their offerings in the near future. Thank you!

I was not pleased that when I made my appointment, the scheduler didnt tell me that I would be seeing the PA instead of the actual Doctor. That should be shared with the Patients.I did really like the PA and she took good care of me so it worked out fine.

The office staff was amazing and I’ve never had such a thorough exam. The doctor was great. I left there feeling like I had received the best care and will definitely be going back. I recommend them to anyone seeking skin care.

Kim Is Literally the best.She cares more about the outcome of your face than making a quick buck. Ive been going to her for almost a year now and my skin has done a full 360!!!!!I usually do laser hair removal and chemical peels.Seeing that those two procedures can go south pretty fast, Kim is the only one I TRUST to get the job done.

I went in for a new patient appt and skin tag removal. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable. Got skin tags removed on my first visit which I wasn’t expecting. Will definitely keep them as a provider for my skin

We have such good experience with the Berman Skin Institute and we LOVE Dr. Donita Abangan. She goes above and beyond and does a very thorough skin check up! Plus she is kind and smart. And her staff is amazing too.

I went in to get a botox. My sister in law also got a botox and fillers. We just loved it! It was amazing how the RN did a great job. I’ve been seeing Dr. Abangan for about a year now. She consistently listens to me about concerns I have, very knowledgeable about treatment options and flexible to work with what best fits my lifestyle.

Friendly staff but if youre going to try cool sculpting save your money. Two treatments no results and complaint not even acknowledged.

I wish I could give it no stars. They charge fees unknown to you, then threaten to ruin your credit if you dont pay. Scammers.

Horrible! My son had a simple skin diagnosis that he needed some medication for (prescription strength). The doctor there insisted it was something else took him there twice and to another local dermo three times before anyone would do a skin scrape. Once the skin scrape results came back it was exactly what I said it was from the beginning. I did not need someone with a MD to tell me that hahaha. ADVICE: Do not let them try to talk you out of doing a skin scrape that is the only true medical procedure that will give you a true answer. Not what these doctors think it looks like.

I usually dont post reviews, but my frustration is so big with the staff in the Yuba city CA office that i dont want anyone else go through the same BS. Took my son to see Dr Greg S Chance on Friday Oct 27th he was an excellent Dr and took the time with my son and answered all my questions. i cant say the same about the office staff the dr give my son a prescription and till this date Wed Nov 1st they havent send it to the pharmacist even after i followed up with multiple phone calls and always giving me the same BS, we will check and it should be right out. they seriously need to check and pay more attention to their customers. Horrible customer service. I will not come back to this office. I will would rather drive an extra hour and get a better quality service.

I absolutely do not recommend to see Dr. Donita Abangan. The way she deals with patients is awful. She’s abrupt, people can’t even ask questions. She also doesn’t treat her assistants very nicely. We saw her a few months ago and at that point my son was diagnosed with a skin condition. We followed her instructions and did exactly as we were told. Upon the symptoms not improving we returned and it was ridiculous. We waited 50 minutes for a visit of 2 minutes. Dr. Abangan did not even look at my son skin, and only looked at the medical assistant’s pictures(which the assistant had previously taken). She claimed that my son had the same medical condition. The visit was very quick, abrupt and again no time to ask questions. People pay for this?? After our horrible experience we went to get a second opinion from a different doctor. Turns out my son no longer has any skin condition. His skin completely cleared up.Looks like Dr. Abangan misdiagnosed my son twice. We used to see Dr. Chance and he was great.

The staff is very friendly, doctors are knowledgeable, and informative. I would recommend the Yuba City location.
