As for me being a grandparent and loving my children and my grandchildren and when my daughter got her kids taking yes it was for the best on her part but how I was treated and how the System didnt even care to allow me to have visits or even look into the lies my daughter had told and how they new my daughter was a easy target to steal my grandchildren and from me was wrong grandparents should have rights to to our grandchildren but we do not no heart its really all about the money that need to change
Conflict of interest. How is it that Im in the same program as a kid I met and they have a whole house and Im in a 1 bedroom apartment with awful plumbing and struggling to make ends and pay bills even with a job. Then having a worker that forgot my birthday and tried aging me out 20 days before and to use my pay out for rent, and then got told that by law I have 21 days to get my pay out. All because I needed to meet a week before I aged out but they went on vacation that week and she was dishonest when they would be back. Also while they were on vacation I seen that my apartment is already listed without my 30 day notice and nowhere to go. Barely got services that I really needed, no hope for my future at all, just no support period. And Im not the only foster child in this predicament with the same worker who are struggling with aging out and trying to prevent homelessness.
Childrens Hope has been an amazing, supportive Foster Family agency. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an agency to support them in the foster care journey. Their staff sincerely cares about the families and offer support in all areas. Transportation is always available to take the children to and from visits which is a huge help. The staff is available 24/7 to offer support in any way. I have been so happy to be a part of this big family since 2011. ~Natalie McBane
Whats wrong with this picture?!?!... There was no reason for a baby of this age to have bruises on his face. My grandson was placed in a foster home with this agency at the age of 2 1/2 months. Visitation ocurred twice a week with the parents and once a month with me. During a period of 3 months the baby was dressed in too small clothing, even after clothes were sent home with him. He always had a diaper rash and at 3 different times had BRUISES on his face. These bruises were found before he was able to crawl or sit up by himself. There was no reason for a baby of this age to have bruises on his face. The explaination given did not make sense. I want everyone to be aware!
Does not follow through with agreements and will not follow through with court mandated visits. They show no regard for the parent and child relationship and the some of families they employ are questionable. During the time that our kids have been in their care, there has been cuts on the face and in the mouth and unexplainable bruising.
Im leaving town soon Im going to have a nervous breakdown I get no help I get underpaid I had enough
