After discovering a very flat tire at 4am and having a HORRIBLE experience with a so called 24 hour towing service, I had no choice, but to go back to the hotel room and wait until the local towing spots opened at 9am. I contacted Ludts and got a super friendly receptionist who quickly took down all my information and put me into line to get my tire changed. I know waiting for a tow truck can be lengthy due to many obstacles, but I was stunned to see the tow truck pulling up next to my car so quickly. The gentleman called me as I was leaving to head his direction and by the time I met him at my car he was practically half way done. I had a full sized tire and rim and he even popped my Jeep logo out of the flat and put into my new (totally great of him!!!) Roughly 60 bucks later and the quickest change I have ever seen, he put everything back and went on his way! Being 200+ miles away and worried about getting home, I absolutely cannot thank Ludts enough for everything!!!

Had a tire come off my car.. 3 in the morning no one else was available to tow. the driver was very nice and quick to tow my car to the shop with reasonable rates. no problems great company would use again.

Prompt to unlock running car with keys on the inside. Called for a price quote for service. Didnt mention service fee to use debit/credit card is my only complaint.

An absolute miserable place to have to pay money to get a car back that was stolen from you. Hours posted on website and voice mail are not accurate. Waited 15 min in a sketchy area for them to be ready to open. The person answering phone was pleasant enough.

They were horrible, very unprofessional, no two ppl that work there will give you the same information. They barely answer their phone.

Josh was a really nice person and took really good care of the truck. He made sure he took care of the rims so they didn’t rub on the ground. And had a good mind set of “would I want this done to me” and made sure he took really good care for us. He is amazing at his job definitely recommend.

Full disclosure: I did not end up using their service so it may be stellar however their business model left much to be desired. When I asked for the total they said: $70 dollars for a hookup, $4 a mile, and then a 4% convenience fee and they wouldnt tell me and exact number forcing me to do the math which is- (70 + 4[miles]) + (Total × .4)= cost. I had to hangup and pull out my calculator to find the full amount which was roughly $175. I called another company (which I wont list so it doesnt seem as if Im partial and trying to divert business to them) getting ready for another math problem and they said $95 flat rate plus tax.I find that to be a shady tactic by 1) making the customer do the math and 2) having superfluous charges like a percentage convenience cost, what even is that? I understand cost per mile, but what convenience cost? How does 70 dollars for the hook up and then money per mile NOT cover I guess the inconvenience for them having to go in the first place? Im not sure, and as i said maybe their service is worth it however I felt they were trying to stuff their pockets by having a complex equation to be necessary to find your own total. Also as a way to hide how expensive they are in hopes that some frustrated customer would just go with them. If that was the standard so be it, but after price checking other places I found it to not be the standard practice, they just rely on naive customers to believe it is so.TLDR: shady price compared to others, has superfluous costs like a percentage convenience fee on top of per mile and hook up cost that they do not tell you the exact cost you must do the math yourself.Recommendation: Call around to two other places and I can pretty much guarantee youll save at least $50 if not more!

Ludts the Putz pulled up to my car and said, Ive never jumped a Prius before so I had to YouTube it.. I wish I would have told him to take a hike at that point but I was desperate. He didnt do it correctly and had to tow my car. Caused me lots of stress. Despite my attempts, I never got a return call or an apology.

I cant reach them on the phone I have no idea whats going on with this place! I hope its still exist but something should be done about the old number that is listed or someone should answer the phone LOL I applied for a position here but when I called there was nothing. I hope you have better luck with this business than I did.

These guys have helped me out of multiple jams. I always call them first if I need a tow or a jump.

My insurance sent them to tow my car home. They were very professional and courteous. The dispatcher keep it touch with me until the driver got there, he was friendly and put me at ease.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND THE YOUNGSTOWN PD SAYS THAT LUTZ TOWING IS GOING TO GET YOUR VEHICLE, YOU BETTER SAY NO! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU OR YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY A STUPID AMOUNT OF MONEY- PROBABLY MORE THAN THE COST OF YOUR REPAIRS!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!! THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!

My insurance company sent them.. the tow driver was cordial and professional, the dispatcher (lady) was rude, not professional at all.

They stole a 200 dollar box of tools out of my husband jeep the tow truck driver did I will never use them again for that
