This was my first time bidding with Keystone and while I’ve bid online with many Houses, Keystone truly is Five Star!! Tracy was sooo helpful as I had to be walked through so many things and she knew the answers or would find them - a true professional and I felt very comfortable with her (and Elizabeth) and felt I could call at any time and didn’t feel like I was bothering ‘staff’. Terrific experience and I will keep looking for Keystone on line, primarily due Tracy! Thank you for stellar service.

Recently purchased some vintage collectable items. The auction went fine but the shipping company caused significant damage to the items. They put about 20 metal items together in a box and mailed them causing paint to be rubbed off, chipped, scratched, etc..Its fine buying from them, but dont trust the shipping, you will pay a lot for someone who doesnt understand how to protect condition sensitive items that cant be replaced. I would never purchase anything from them such as a coin, sports card, comic, or anything else that should be handled carefully. A PROFESSIONAL auction house should complete the transaction to delivery.EDIT: The arrangements for shipping were made by the auction house per the invoice, *Unless other arrangements are made, Keystone Auctions will automatically transfer the items to a shipper to provide shipping quotes. Please allow a week for the transfer, another for the quote, call if you need it expedited. If you are arranging your own shipper or pick up, notify us at time of payment. We use Postal Connections Store #223 (UPS/FedEx/DHL/USPS).Thats who shipped the items. I did not arrange my own shipper...which is exactly how it was worded in your sale. I should not have had to call them and ask them to properly wrap the items properly. I simply want others to understand the risk so they dont run into the same problem.I imagine if I won a valuable baseball card it might just be placed in a regular envelope with a stamp unless I called to ensure it was packaged properly. Or if I purchased some pristine coins they might get dropped in a box together to rattle around unless I called and made sure they are individually protected. Its expected when buying Antiques, Fine Art, and Collectibles which was the title of this auction.

Won one item and was high bidder on several others until, instead of selling the items to me as the high bidder, the auction house passed them. If there was a reserve, I never had a chance to meet it as I already had the high bid and couldnt bid against myself. I was told that the consignor had expectations that were not met, so they decided not to sell. Why not withdraw them from the auction, if the high bidder isnt even going to be given a chance to meet that reserve by executing it properly? I paid my bill and asked them to throw my items away - Id rather that than have to talk to them again about shipping. Instead I am still getting voicemails from the shipping company weeks later. Ive bought thousands of items from hundreds of auction companies and this is the most unprofessional and unethical experience Ive ever had.

Horrendous service! Called to pick up 2 days after the auction, (a Monday) lady said we will call you when to come and pick up, due to Covid we are social distancing. No call. Called the next week, she said Im so sorry, we will call you before Friday I promise. No word. So friday a week later, they sounded dazed and confused telling me well people just call and say when they will come and pick up, I dont understand what the problem is. Asked to be passed to her boss, thinking Ill get to the bottom of this. Elizabeth came on the phone and sounded just as confused, and then found my plight funny! I live in York, my business is in York, should have been simple. Never again!

A great source to buy and sell! The auctions are so fun, the entire staff is friendly and super knowledgable, and I am so grateful that Keystone Auctions found a home (and got me a great price) for my beloved 1966 Ford Fairlane that I inherited from my grandmother.

Bid on a wonderful pair of vintage dr and nurse dolls. Got them at an excellent price, and they look better in person than on the auction site ( and they were adorable on the photo)! Auction house is very responsive to questions and a pleasure to deal with. Hope to have the opportunity to bid at another one of their auctions with vintage dolls.

Keystone is the best. The quality of the lots is top notch. They also periodically have box lots. Since they also have on-line bidding, sometimes the competition is rough, but everyone seems to win and everyone leaves happy. Gary, Jason, Elsbeth & Steve are all great and make the whole auction experience one of the best in South Central PA.

Beware of the wording on the item you are interested in bidding on. Because the item is described as being in excellent condition does not mean that there are missing parts. You only discover this when you have paid an outrageous shipping cost and the item is delivered. They will tell you that you could have requested a condition report but I dont realistically believe that is necessary when something is advertised as in excellent condition. But there I go again being realistic. Never too old to get burned. My first and last experience with Keystone Auctions. They will never get my business again.

Please DO NOT due any business with this auction as they will RIP YOU OFF. They sold a wall unit worth 2,000 for 25.00. This was not looking out for the sellers interest. That unit was sold 2 days after it was picked up and the rest of mt stuff was sold several months later. WHY (you figure it out). A lot of stuff picked up WAS NOT on the inventory check list. Items picked up were in boxes that was just put on the truck and not put on the inventory check list. A lot of the stuff that did get on the check list cannot be a accounted for on his sale sheet. As far as I am concerned this was thrift. They were a bunch of crooks and I am still looking at bringing charges against them. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

Keystone Auctions does a fantastic job of getting the most value out of your items. Besides having people physically at their auctions they list the items on several online platforms to reach a wider audience.

The wife has a habit of taking items out of box lots because she thinks theyre pretty. Has also driven away at least two staff members.Not recommended.

Im Devastated in how they handled my fathers train estate of several hundred trains. After being misled that We personally identify your trains, professionally photograph and market them to the world., none of this happened. They sold them all in-house with no online pictures, no descriptions, and no internet venues and didnt notify us of any change in plan until the auction was already over. Their excuse was that they were dirty when in fact some were artificially weathered, and most were merely dusty and could easily have been brushed off.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. They have great knowledge of antiques with excellent customer service.

This is where I go when I want to get the most money I likely can for the more valuable items I have to sell. With the online auctioning websites they use which includes ebay, invaluable auctions, and liveauctioneers all at the same time, while selling in the room, I know I am selling to thousands of potential bidders of my items. I can get an idea of what similar items have sold for in the past with liveauctioneers and ebay sold tabs. Then, I get the items to Keystone and they do the work. Thanks for making me money Keystone!
