It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it

My nails were yellow after receiving a fresh set. The acrylic was probably old... said Suny, the owner and nail technician I received during my visit. Very nice lady but the experience was horrible. I would never visit this nail shop again. My mother also received a pedicure and her toe was sore for days after. My mother will not be returning either. Not only did Suny use an emory board to rub off the acrylic I had on my nails (I had tips on and wanted a fresh set) she rubbed the skin below my cuticles I bled!!! This was after I asked her to be careful and not rub my skin atleast 7 times. I was never given a tissue or gauze for my fingers. I paid and got out!!! Never ever again!!

I am surprised that I am the first the write a review for Sunys Nails, as I found her service to be impeccable. I went to Sunys Nail Salon for a French Manicure, and decided to try their Hot Lotion Massage Manicure (totaling $18, including the cost for French Manicure). I wasnt disappointed, her massages apply just the right amount of pressure, and she massages your arms and hands for ample time each. Also, the massage she gives your while your nails are drying is so good, I nearly fell asleep sitting in the chair. She applies pressure on your shoulders, neck, and upper back areas - totaling a 5 minute massage (which is included in the cost of your manicure). Though most salons offer this service as part of their manicures, I have found that their included massage is usually 1 minute or 2, with barely any pressure.I would have given her 4 stars initially (as Ive had a slightly better Hot Lotion Massage somewhere else, if she added the Hot Stones, shed be at 5 stars for the manicure service) but her customer service is so incredible, I had to give her all 5 stars.Also, her nail polishes look as though they are individually cleaned - daily - and organized by color and shade. This is the only salon I have ever seen this level of attention to detail.I highly recommend.

The worst nail place I ever been too! They rush the job, I had her fix my nail 4 times and honestly it still came out horrible. I’m not one of those people that complain I’m usually easily satisfied. But they didn’t get the edges or even file my nail correctly for a simple gel manicure. Ooo and don’t mind the few bubble you can easily peel off after the gel “dries”. I asked for a pink and they gave me a brown color. I should’ve just told them take it off and walk out. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It seems as the prices are wonderful but you pay for what you get.

Ladies are friendly, Im on my way to the airport and Im visiting from NJ. I called many other places in the area but they were too busy. As soon as I called Sunys they said they could see me right away for pedicure and to get my eyebrows done. When I arrived they asked me if I called and to have a seat. They got the water running quickly and I was able to get everything done. They did a great job on my pedicure and eyebrows. They made me feel relaxed with a wonderful massage for my trip. When Im back in Yonkers I will stop by here again.

Ummm so first of all I always go there and tips where 25$ But u get what u pay for .I would go with my friends . But when I went with my mom it was 50$ .they are completely a scam DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE ps.they do a horrible job and don’t even speak English.

If I could give zero stars I would. Suny herself did my nails this afternoon...she cut my pinky with the emory board, although I asked her nicely about 6 times to please stop rubbing the emory board on my skin. Worst of all the acrylic used dried yellow...my nails are actually yellow under the polish. I asked her why were my tips turning yellow and her exact response was I dont know..maybe its old.... had she not skinned my finger (which caused pain) and had I not already paid her (30 for a soak off and new set) I would have asked her to remove whatever acylic she applied and would have left. Other customers who overheard my conversing with Suny told me Alice is better. Unfortunately for me I heard that info too late. My nails look horrible and my pinkys skin is raw and I am very disappointed in their service. Never ever will I go to that nail salon again
