I would not recommend this company to do anything. They are a total rip off and did nothing like the said they would. They suspended gutters from the shingles of my roof therefore damaging my roof. They did not install downspouts as contracted. They removed a piece of my home without my knowledge or permission and left a hole in my home for weeks which still hasn’t been repaired. I instructed them not to install the gutters and they did it anyway. They put the gutters on rotting wood that they were contracted to repair and when I asked about it they just cut out a piece of my home without my knowledge or permission and left the hole there. The gutters were installed unevenly. Thus far I have notified their corporate office, Paul Kilzer the sales Person, Mr. Brian McDermott, Emily, Abigail and Brandi. My home is still damaged and now I have to pay to repair the damage. To add insult to injury they charged me more than 8100 dollars for the shoddy work. I would no recommend this company for anything. Run as fast as you can from this horrible company. Leaf Filter is an awful company that does horrible work. I have included a copy of what was advertised as the installation to compare with what I actually received. I wish that I could give a zero star.

My rep was factual and did not try to “sell” me anything. Simple demonstration and informative discussion was enough for me to see that the investment was necessary. This system is not only economically reasonable compared to other known gutter systems but is aesthetically appealing and not so obvious from the ground. I am very pleased with my investment so far.

I see some individuals have had a positive experience, with this Co. Thats great for them. Im simply here to tell you, get quotes, from several companies. Dont allow the sales to pressure you into a deal, or a discount only now deal. If this company is the first to visit you, dont allow the sales to pressure you. Long story short, I saved over $10,000 by getting another quote, by another company, and the work was done when promised. So far, fingers crossed, no issues, gutters look good, same warranty, and havent had any issues with the rain drainages like I did before the work. Get quotes!

They ripped me off and ghosted me THREE TIMES. I wanted my half of my gutters cleaned and the other half replaced. I had a quoted price for having it done. The technician came out quickly and told me that he would replace the one half, but didnt feel comfortable cleaning the other half because he didnt know how to put the gutter guards back on correctly. He told me that he called the office to inform them and that the price would be reduced. Okay, no big deal.They never reduced the price or asked me about it. I called them 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and was told to expect a call back that never came. I feel totally ripped off and ignored.

LeafFilter replaced one of our gutters that had been damaged, and installed their standard micro mesh filter system on all of our gutters. Our house is in a wooded area, and the leaf filter has been working well after several heavy rains with no overflow.I noticed two places where the original installation was not quite right, and a service technician was sent out and he listened well and fixed them to avoid future damage to shingles and fascia.

LeafFilter Gutter answered my request for a demonstration of their product and were very quick to come out and talk to me about their product. The product is a quality product and looked like it will do the best job keeping branches, leaves, etc. out of the gutters and will eliminate my having to climb ladders to clean them. I am very satisfied with the efficient installation and how well the product has worked to keep my gutters free of leaves and debris.

This company has ZERO customer service. This is a big company that allows there not to be any accountability. We were supposed to have gutters installed on 8-27-21. Showed up with the wrong color gutters. Then they strung us along until finally we were able to get ahold of someone. They told us Monday 9-13-21 they would be out first thing. Got a call around 9:30am that the truck didn’t show up with material so they would have to install on Friday 9-17-21. No one called and no one ever showed up. Tried repeatedly to get ahold of someone. Calling the 800 number is a waste of time because they will just transfer to their local offices. They did not want to do anything to help and could not give us any answers. Waited and never heard back from the local office. My advice is to go with anybody else.

Only reason it’s a 2 star is because the gentlemen that came to give our quote was very kind and informative. The price however is extremely high. A 21 foot gutter we needed to repair and then have leaf filter on was quoted at over $1300. We’ve since went with 2 other quotes that were less than half of that price and that included a brand new, larger gutter with filter and upgraded, larger downspout. None of which was included in LeafFilter’s quote. Due to the high cost I would not recommend this company and was completely blown away by the quote. Glad I went elsewhere.

This company never completed a gutter installation job (kept saying theyd come out but didnt) so I canceled the job. Yet they later committed fraud by forging my signature on a fake certificate of completion and sending it to my mortgage company to get paid. Save your time, money, and the identity fraud and go with someone else.

The installer, Rob, was very knowledgeable and professional about the product and installation. The system has performed well even during torrential downpours. Looking forward to Fall season for the first time without worrying about leaves in my gutters as I’m 55 yrs old and don’t like to climb ladders.

I had them do my driveway gutters great, but when I had them come to give me an estimate for front the estimator was over by 13 feet and he gave me a price I then asked about senior discount and repeat customer he said it’s all ready figured in I told him last year you gave me a price of $400 cheaper

They r very unprofessional and did not do what they advertise. It was a problem from beginning. We had 3-4 areas of blogging within half a year.. then we needed a new roof and could not get them off because of poor install. Now I I have filed another BBB claim to try and corrrct

Salesman came to my house told me what they could do and a price of 6500 and I said no. So he called and texted every day with a lower price. We finally came to an agreement at 2114. I said great lets do it. Then I didnt hear from him until I texted back. Then he sent the contract to me that he signed and I signed. Then nothing again until I texted him. Then he gets back to me saying they changed there mind. I have to pay more to get the job done. I said we already signed a contract he says so.

Weve had Leaf Filter for ten years. They recently came to repair/replacement a section that came lose. They did a great job and back their lifetime guarantee. While they were here the technician checked all our gutters to make sure they were okay.

I had LeafFilter come out and put their product on all of my gutters. I live with the back of my house facing the woods and get a lot of leaves in my gutters. Im getting too danged old to climb up on ladders and scrape leaves and debris out of my gutters, so I decided to get the best product out there to take care of that problem. I was very pleased with the installation and the quality of the product, and look forward to many years of not climbing ladders to clean out my gutters.

So far so good. The real test over a lot more time is to see there is no build up of debris from the trees on the screens... Installation, for a house as large and old as ours, went as well as could be expected. Workers did a good job and were pleasant to deal with. While we did get (and appreciate) commercial pricing, it is still an expensive product - however, expect a long term assessment that it will be worth it.

I have nothing to say about the quality of the work, but apparently Leaf Filter was in our area doing work on another home. Im writing this review because they put a flyer in my mailbox. I just hope they realize that this is a federal crime and violators can be fined up to $250,000 or imprisoned for 3 years. Thats probably not the best way to advertise.

Had a family member really interested in just their gutters after doing some research. Called the office and had someone come out for an estimate. The estimate went okay but was outrageously expensive but continued to use them anyways. The crew was supposed to arrive on Monday betweet 9-11. We waited and waited and no one ever showed up that day or called! After calling multiple times finally talked to the person in charge of the crew and they said sorry we will be out Friday. After the way customer service was the last few days of no communication they decided not to move on with the company. They tried to call to cancel them coming out but no answer, multiple times so left a voicemail. Friday comes and the crew shows up at the house to work! They had no idea it got cancelled. The project finally calls back after the crew leaves and cusses at my family member multiple times, threatens him that he cant cancel it because they are in a contract (which was false because it was not signed.) Overall this company is very unprofessional, lack communication, and ended up finding a company similar and more than half the price.

They cleaned my gutters and installed leaf guards on my gutters to keep debris from building up in the future.

Flim Flam. Go to the website you see pics of gutters not a building or business. Read the BBB reviews. A lifetime warranty sounds good, but when your unable to reach anyone on the fon, youll have to figure out another plan. 1. Fix the problem yourself. 2. Pay someone else to fix it.

Had the LeafFilter system installed... my gutters were left a dirty mess, screens were sticking up and one part where a downspout is sitting on top of it with no screen n a hole in part of it. So so disappointed and should have just continued to pay to have them cleaned out twice a year...

Im not using it cause even in the commercial the screen is under the front lip of gutter. So my leaves or sticks wont get caught on that lip? Just a thought.

This company definitely dropped the ball in my opinion. The initial interaction was fine. Everyone was friendly and polite. The problem started with scheduling. I was told the installers would be here between 9-10am. I had errands to run and left just after 11. The installers showed up around 11:30 and called me. I told them to go ahead and start and called the person I scheduled with. I was told they have a 2 hour window which was never communicated to me. Upon completion the installers left an empty tube of caulk on my driveway. They also did not clean up after cleaning the gutters which was very surprising and we were not satisfied with having to pick up the leaves from our gutters after them especially since we paid the company a few grand. I don’t feel this company is the “best” as they claim. Any one of these complaints by themselves would be fine but with all of this together it doesn’t leave a “professional” impression.

This company will rip you off. ..good luck.. if you have a service issue it will take months for them to come out. 100 feet of gutter. 1story straight runs charged 2200.. the there contractor pay was 90 dollers for the install.. they are seriously under payed. .its plastic it will warp.. promise you that. The mesh screen is only a friction fit.. and will allow moss to grow.. I see Major law suits coming in the future of this company.. bad management

Do not work with these people! they will do a bad job, not fix the issues forget you even had any issues, act surprised and inconvenienced when you remind them of the issues and still fail to fix the initial issues. Stay far away. I only gave one star because I had to to post this id give 0 stars if I could.In response to bellow Ive been in touch with you guys for over 5 months. You guys are a mess. My family reached out and requested a refund for failure to address issue from initial poor job performed and I had to call 2 days later for anyone to get on this. Then they pressured my mom into letting them address the issue this week. We want a refund and nothing to do with your company. You can fix the issue as well as provide a refund which would at least reflect some culpability for this ridiculous issue... if you choose to do whats right.

Last year when we bought our house and we discovered the wrong product was placed on the gutters for a wooded lot. We had serious gutter clogs, downspouts packed with years of debris and compacted ground drains. It certainly was an unexpected expense right at move in, but we had to clear the issue. It was quite significant. Leaf Filter was our solution and we have been very happy with the product. We did have to call Leaf Filter back, but they were spot on top of the appointment. Additionally they made suggestions to assist us in ground drain replacement. In 2 places we decided to replace with larger gutters to accept the large amount of water from heavy rains. Tony Teresi, Leaf Filter Operations Manager, was super helpful, explained the the installation and made the appointment. I have over the past year, dealt with a lot of contractors for our home, Tony went above to make our house gutter system work properly.

Really pushy salesmen that tried to force himself into my home. Quote came out to $~4200 for 1500 sq foot home. When the quote was presented he immediately “offered” a 15% discount.

Paid top dollar for this product. Was told I’d have a lifetime guarantee for any repairs. Had the same issue with installation....nails and metal debris all over my yard and driveway. It’s been a year later and I’m still finding nails and metal. Now for the real issue. My gutters have leaked since installation (they guaranteed no leaks). I’ve been trying to reach them for 6 weeks to fix. The first scheduled repair never showed up and I’ve called 7 times since and no one will return my call. If I had to do it all over again I’d never pay such a high price for such low quality work and no customer service whatsoever.

Scam. Handing out $250 off coupons at The Ohio State Fair but wont actually honor the coupon. After being jerked around by these people, I ended up getting other quotes. Even if the coupon were applied, leaffilter price is still higher than everyone else I contacted.

They did a great job except that thet left the debris all over my lawn and old nails all over. Then we have an issue with one that was not done correctly and water is leaking all over when it rains and they tell my husband they cant do anything else.

My mother in law got the lead gutter system put on her home and has had some issues and has reach out to the company several times as well as my husband leaving messages . It gas been 2 weeks and neither have received a return call .

Product works but as many companies do, make sure you get everything agreed on done Before you pay them . Have a small problem that has been ignored and no luck getting it taken care of .

After sitting thru a hard sell with one of LeafFilters sales people, in which I was insulted for not having my wife involved and for wanting to think about it, I eventually came to an agreement on price with LeafFilter. However, I was sent a message two days later stating they would not honor our agreement due to bidding my job too low. How it is possible to not know their own costs after having sold a product for years, is beyond me. At the very least, UNPROFESSIONAL! At this point, I left several messages for the area district manager, who did not return my calls until I posted a bad review online. I then began reading others’ reviews of LeafFilter and most of them were negative. I can not recommend LeafFilter due to their underhanded sales practices, the lack of interest in complaints at the corporate level, and the apparent poor performance of the product itself. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! And then, if you still decide to use LeafFilter, don’t pay more than $15.00 per linear foot.

Leaffilter destroyed my roof and drip edge. Ripped shingles. Pulled my drip edge out. Then tried to replace the drip edge with the wrong size and left spaces without drip edge. They will no longer communicate with me. They haven’t offered to resolve the issue. They keep demanding now that my roof is a problem I should fix myself. They shouldn’t have touched it to begin with. They won’t compensate for damages. And now I have to have a new roof installed as well as the correct size drip edge. They also can’t seem to get their product installed correctly as they came out 5 times in a year to try and correct. They are sneaky and a bad company who will damage your home. And then leave you out thousands of dollars. The photos don’t lie. But LeafFilter lies and won’t tell you the extend of the damage they caused.
