I had scheduled an appointment a half week in advance for 9:00 a.m. I dropped off the vehicle the night before so it would be waiting on them, then filled out that form and wrote that I had an appointment set already and just reiterated the issues that I had. I have a fleet vehicle so I was passing them two or three times that day and I can tell they did not even touch it. So at the end of the day I came up and just got my key and took my car home and did it myself, which is not what I wanted to do. There is only one type of person in this world I despise and that is somebody that is not true to their word, dishonesty. If it is not that then I refuse to give my money to incompetent people. Take your pick. If I were you I would take your money elsewhere like a chain. Not all big chain locations are all that bad because they HAVE to be accountable if you know what I mean.

Worthington Automotive is as honest and trustworthy as they come. No one really likes having to take their car to the shop/mechanic, especially me since I’m a female and have always felt like where I’ve taken my car tries to take advantage of me or tried to get me to have work done that wasn’t necessary at the time. but, I will say when I do need my Jeep looked at, I’m always going to go to Worthington Automotive. They not only got me in promptly when my engine light came on this past week but they are an honest and trustworthy group at this shop. As a female who doesn’t know a lot about cars, I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of when I’m talking to them and they’ll take the time to explain what they’ve done and other services/work they recommend but without the high sales pressure I’ve experienced at some other places. The expense of the work is reasonable and it’s always quality work. It’s nice to have a local shop near me I can trust. I’ve been to Worthington Automotive several times with my old Liberty and my “new to me” Wrangler most recently and I’ve been highly satisfied every time! I highly recommend Worthington Automotive.

Ladies, let me tell you something! Theses guys are honest and upfront with you. They are all wonderful !! I just paid my car payment and new insurance. Then my car wouldnt go past 30mph.It happened in front of firestone. No help there !! So I drove down to Worthington autos whos worked on my car before.. And are great. If you are looking for a reliable and affordable mechanic - Stop Looking! Worthington Automotive makes the once-in-a-while car repair a total breeze. We had to get the brakes replaced on our GMC SUV. Mike answered the phones every time we called and took us same day. They performed the inspection and had the parts ordered and ready to go. They stayed late to work on other vehicles and ended up finishing our entire job (new brakes and rotors on both axles) in the same night. Got a great deal on them too. My new permanent car maintenance/repair people. They earned my loyalty for sure. I had a very high quote with multiple needed parts for regular maintenance on my Honda. I took it to these guys to get the work done and added new tires to the order, and to start with, the quote was already less than what I had from the other place. Once they got my car, they called me and told me I didnt actually need half of the work I was told I would need, and they saved me 50% of my bill. Super friendly, very professional, made me feel valued and important. I couldnt find a ride to pick up my car when the work was done, so completely unprompted, they offered to come get me and bring me to the shop. All the work was great quality, and Im 100% happy.

Couldnt be more pleased with the price, quality of work, and customer service I received. I wont bore everyone with the details, but I purchased a used truck from a local dealership that was having issues. The dealership refused to help, so I took my truck to another local mechanic. They quoted me a VERY high number and said they couldnt source the parts for at least 2-3 days.Luckily, my wife just happened to find a groupon for Worthington Auto, so we called them to see if they could take a look at my truck. Mike was very pleasant and told me to bring it in first thing in the morning. I dropped my truck off at around 9:15am; and by 11:30 they had diagnosed my problems and gave me a price that was literally half of what the other mechanic quoted. Much to my surprise, my truck was done the same day! They fixed several oil leaks, replaced multiple parts, and did a front & rear full brake job in one day for a great price.So it was done quick and for a reasonable cost, but the best part of the experience was when I picked up my truck up. The mechanic (I believe his name was Todd), talked with me for probably a good 15 minutes discussing the repairs made and also took the time to give me a 101 lesson on my truck, telling me what to look out for in the future, when to be worried, when not to be worried, etc. I really appreciate that he took the time to do this considering it was closing time for the shop.All around they seem like good, honest guys and I wont hesitate to go back in the future.

I was looking online to find a reputable mechanic to replace my brakes. I found Worthington Automotive and read through the reviews. I was impressed with what I read, so I went in for a free estimate. The day I took my car in for repairs, I told them I had to be in Cincinnati early in the afternoon so the work needed to be done at a certain time. They had my brakes done in a little over 2 hours! The staff was really nice, professional on the phone and in person, very honest with what needed to be done. My brakes feel great. I definitely think I will be going to them to get future car work done.

I HATE having to take my vehicles in to have work done. No matter where I’ve gone in the past Ive always been faced with condescending shop workers who try to nickel and dime me, offer unnecessary repairs, etc.Oh boy, not here.I found a Groupon a couple of years ago for a synthetic oil change at Worthington Automotive. I went in and had a wonderful experience. At the end of the appointment, they had printed out a quote for a future maintenance need my van would have. It was the most low pressure, but informative thing I’d ever experienced.They took the time to explain why this particular (expensive) work needed to be done, and said they wanted me to have the quote from them so that if / when I reached out elsewhere for quotes, I’d have an idea of what to expect.This was amazing!I called two other shops for quotes and they were both more expensive than WA.I brought the van back to them for that maintenance and I’ve been a customer ever since.Most recently, the van started making a terrible noise. I dropped it off to them late on a Monday night, utilizing their drop box. By 9:30am the following morning, they’d figured out the issue AND told me that it was a problem with the previous maintenance work. I didn’t even have to ask about a warranty. They let me know it would be covered completely.I’ve always found everyone very honest and informative. Nobody speaks down to me because I am a younger woman. Their prices are fair and their staff is friendly.

My belt mysteriously went bad in my car on my way to work, I called in and Todd got me in immediately. In addition to fixing the belt, I mentioned a problem a previous mechanic had made out to be a big problem but they checked it out and reassured me there was no reason to proceed with an extensive repair. Mike even offered to give me a ride to work if I didn’t have someone coming to get me. Great guys and happy I found a place to go for future problems!

Whatever sense of dread I usually have with having to take a car in to get serviced is completely gone now that I have gone here. You work with the owners directly and you never get the sense they are trying to bilk you, just do honest work at an honest price. The work I needed done on my vehicle justifiably should have taken a couple days (order the part, wait for it to arrive, do the actual work, etc), but everything aligned and they got it done the next day. I dont think I could recommend this place highly enough.

I took my car to Worthington Auto to have them check out my brakes after being replaced somewhere because my car was pulsating and the brakes were squeaking. Todd called me very shortly after dropping the car off and knew exactly what was going on and gave me an estimate to replace the brake pads and rotors. Todd was extremely authentic and sincere. He gave me a couple tips and items to watch out for in the future. This local business does not have the typical automotive shop feel and I felt very taken care of. I will be going to Worthington for all my needs going forward and I will recommended them to everyone!

It is refreshing to know that there are still automotive shops out there that actually care about your vehicle, the cost that it takes to repair it, and the satisfaction of its customers. Worthington Automotive is just that place. They were actually able to get to my vehicle before they opened because I had to go out of town on Emergency. My vehicle has never run better and they actually recommended a few more items that need to be checked out when I return as well. They also said I should not be concerned with those items while on my trip. Worthington Automotive will always be my first choice in automotive repair as well should be yours.

He found himself unemployed after 20 years of dedicated service, frustration over the company not wanting to do what was best for the customer and promoting sales of unnecessary repairs. After having an issue with a local shop in Delaware I took my 09 nitro into Worthington automotive. They immediately diagnosed the issue, went over the error codes with me, explained the best coarse of action and gave me an accurate estimate. The work was completed extremely fast and my car is running like new again. It’s very hard to find an honest and reputable mechanic these days, Worthington automotive has the process down to a science. They are by far the best place to take your vehicle for service in the Columbus area. Fair pricing, honest estimates, and genuine employees. What more could you ask for. 15/5 star rating in my book.

When you want your vehicle fixed, you want what needs to done and you want to know options. Theres great shops, both big and small, to choose from. But corporate character and customer care often get marginalized over time if the ownership isnt truly bought in to giving 100% to each and every customer.So Ive worked with Todd and the crew twice and both experiences were definitely better than Id expected. For instance, I recently had my oil and tires changed. Before that, theyd changed my brakes and advised me on a few questions Id had.So up to this point, you might think, Ok. just some basic repairs / changes. But youd be missing the greatest part of Worthington Automotive.Honesty and integrity as individuals and as a team.Having been in sales all my life, Honesty is not a variable that can be negotiated. Hot or cold, off or on, good or bad...you either are or you are not. These guys ARE.So I believe in the following phrase. Over-communicate, overcompensate. Todd does a fantastic job of telling you the options and explaining what work needs to be done and what can wait. Hell also let you know about potential problems down the line so that you dont sink a bunch of money into a vehicle that will turn out to be a money pit.So I was having two rear tires changed because one, I suspected, had a broken belt. It would shake significantly around 60 mph. So we agreed to replace the back two tires. But shortly after, he called me back to say there was pretty good tread on the other tire and I didnt have to get the second new tire.THIS is what I call top shelf service. Because if theyd replaced both tires and done the other services as agreed, I would have been fine with it. But because Worthington Automotive has shown me (and I have friends who have taken their vehicles as well who echo my comments here) that theyre NOT out to get maximum dollar out of every customer who comes in, Im a raving fan as such.Plus, cost wise, theyre very competitively priced. They wont just slap on a couple extras and call them necessary. You can go a lot of places. But 4.6 out of 5 stars is very very good...and I think that number is low to be honest. 5 out of 5 for me and will be back the next time I need car repairs or maintenance. Its worth the drive and theyre very efficient on getting the right repairs done right the first time...right on time.

Mike and the guys are great and personable. I went to them about a year ago to fix a linkage problem that I had with my wipers and recently got a new coolant tank. Wipers are still going strong and I’m satisfied with their service overall :)Definitely will be back!

I had an issue from a previous visit. The owner reached out to me and has promised to resolve the earlier problem. (earlier post)I brought my car back with the expectation that the work that was neglected the first (engine diagnostic) time would be completed properly. This time I was told my problem was the upper intake and valve gaskets. This was incorrect. It turned out to be my fuel pump. I was again charged for inaccurate work or just guessing. My experience with this shop is now 0 for 3. 3 visits and 3 inaccurate estimates. It was a waste of my time and money and the only consolation is that I did not give them the OK to do major, expensive repairs that were unnecessary. BEWARE of this shop!!

I have taken my 2013 Ford Edge with 116,000 miles to Worthington Automotive for routine maintenance since my extended warranty ended and been very happy with their service. Recently I was having a brake issue that ended up being my Power Brake Booster and a costly repair. However, they looked closely at the bulletin and found that although Ford didnt do a recall, they had extended the warranty to cover it. When I picked up my car they printed out the bulletin, explained exactly what was happening to the car, told me to have Ford call them if I had any problems and handed me my keys, no charges! When they say free estimates, they mean it. Theyve also gave very honest advice about the future maintenance I can expect on my vehicle which I appreciated, as I was trying to decide how long to keep it vs. trading it in. They even suggested vehicles to look with the least maintenance issues. This proves to me they care more about the customer than just making a buck. Thank you Worthington Automotive for saving me money!

If I went there to find good customer service and nothing else I would give this shop 5 stars. Unfortunately, I went there because of an issue with my vehicle. The shop charged a ridiculous price to replace one coil pack, not even the spark plug. (yes, it was on the back side). The charges were over $425.00. It cured the issue, but, be aware that there are shops that will do a complete tune up (plugs and coil packs, etc.) for the $425.00 I paid for just ONE COIL PACK. I cannot recommend this shop.

Excellent experience with this shop. I brought in a brake line/caliper; I had a seized fitting on a brake line (Im a DIYer). They made a new line quickly, while I waited, and to my astonishment, made the line at no charge. This is certainly uncommon. I would definitely go to them again if I needed help with a project. I havent had them do any repairs for me but if I did need to go to a shop, I would recommend them.

I have been coming here for the past 2 years and I have been very impressed by the customer service each time I have visited! I work in the area and drove in one day to discover I had a nail in my tire. They were able to get my car in and patch the tire the same day. Another time, my car started feeling wonky as I was driving in. I stopped by the shop and asked if they could take a look. It turns out that it was just ice, so they knocked it out of the wheel well for me free of charge. Recently, I had my oil changed and was told I needed to buy the screws and fasteners for the plastic covering on the bottom of my car. They were right bc it started falling off on my drive in to work today. Thankfully, I has already bought the parts so they put the fasteners on for me today, again free of charge. I have always received fast and friendly service. I love this place!!

Had problem with engine - ended up being dead starter. Prompt and courteous service. Potentially other connected issues explained to me prior to the final service, but only replaced the components needed to perform properly again. Don’t go! Took my vehicle there was given a price to fix it. I was promised that this would fix it. Then I was told I had another problem after the repair. But, wasn’t sure if that would fix the problem. It’s my opinion they do guess work. They just replace parts until they fix the problem. in the meantime your bill will increase. Don’t go! They start low then you end up with a higher bill.

I had found Worthington Automotive on Google and was impressed by the number of great reviews so I decided to give them a try. The reviews dont lie. This company is committed to outstanding service at a very reasonable cost. I had just done the rear brakes within the last month but now I had issue with the fronts. Although I had done the rear myself, I simply didnt have time to deal with doing the fronts. They fixed the fronts and let me know that the new rear caliper that I put on was faulty. They took it off and actually took it back to the parts store where I bought it and exchanged it for me under warranty. WOW! They did not have to do this and as someone whom runs a business, I can appreciate a company that goes the extra mile. I wont forget this and they have gained a loyal customer.

I was in town taking care of some things for my daughters who now live in the area. Being a single mother I am extremely tight on money and had at that time just enough to get me back home. But there was a problem; my brakes on the back left we’re making a horrible grinding sound and occasional clunk noise. I called Worthington Automotive and brought my car in. Mike was very helpful and fixed the problem within minutes at no cost. It was a missing bolt. Thank you so very much. My heroes for the day!!!!
