Great for Tractor trailer delivery. Huge parking lot and plenty of space for turn around. Delivery is not until 9am. Dont let a dispatcher tell you anything different. Great people Great service.
Not entirely sure how to rate this experience, but I needed to make sure this information was shared publicly.After having to move pick-up locations an hour further than we thought just the day before our big move, we were happy to at least still have a trailer to pick up. The woman who helped us was very friendly and nice, but apparently failed to put the chains on correctly when connecting them to the hitch on my SUV. 10 hours into our 12-hour road trip, we were alarmed when a woman aggressively honked at us on the highway, rolled down her window and screamed YOU HAVE A FIRE! We quickly pulled off on the side of the road to discover the chains had been sparking because they had apparently been dragging across the road. Luckily, we made it home in one piece.When we went to drop off our UHAUL the following day, a concerned employee asked if we had installed the chains ourselves. He said he asked because he noticed our trailer had been hooked up incorrectly and if we happened to have hit a bump the right way, we would have lost the trailer in a heartbeat. Turns out the woman at the Woodland location should have cut the chains when installing them. He then demonstrated how frail the connection was by giving it a hard kick and knocking if off the hitch just like that.Suffice to say, we were very lucky to have made the trip with our trailer intact the whole time. Feel bad because the woman was very nice, but she clearly should not have been as confident in her work as she seemed to be.
Was there around 2:30pm on Friday. When I walked into the store there was no on in there, not even an employee. I looked around for a box I needed and while doing that a guy in street clothes came in from outside and told me someone would be with me in a minute. I said that’s fine I’m still looking and he disappeared into the back. I found the box I needed and grabbed some foam packets for dishes and made sure I didn’t need anything else (it’s been five minutes since he said someone would be out). Same guy comes out and says someone will be right out to help me then proceeds to sit down at the far register and starts messing around on a computer. At this point I’ve been in the store ten plus minutes and have been ready to purchase after the first five. I told the guy I’ll go somewhere else to get my supplies and in the most insincere tone he said ‘sorry about that’. I left.
The staff here was super knowledgeable and above expectations when it comes to customer service. They got me in and out in a swift manner all while making sure they met all of my needs. Highly recommended. We ended up with a cargo van to haul some dressers back to our house from the Costco nearby
Picking up moving and storage supplies was quick and easy. The partners where flexible enough to let us pick a large order on separate days.

Great place to install a hitch
Ive been a loyal customer of U-Haul since the 80s. I always use the closest store. If I like em Ill learn all their names and bring snacks when Im renting equipment. Currently Im using the Florin store in sacramento and storage center in woodland Ca. Victor is boss at Florin and Elizabeth is hefe at woodland.Moving to Colorado soon and I want my U-Haul streak to remain unbroken. Long live U-Haul.Victors squad is Genifer, Andrew, Antwan, Julius,Eric(?).Elizabeth has candice, cathy, and Mike.
Amazing service, had two fuses that didn’t work and almost didn’t leave with the trailer but they figured out the problem and sent us our way.

Spoke with Candace yesterday and was told she would get back to me. Still waiting to hear from her and every time I try calling in I am put on hold at least 45 minutes without every speaking with anyone. Terrible customer service!
The team running the shop on Sunday August 9 at 3:00 pm were atrocious. The gentleman who came out to inspect my trailer checked me in under the wrong customer’s account. He asked if I wanted a printed receipt, I said yes. After ten minutes of screwing around I said an emailed copy would be fine. He said it should be in my inbox but when I checked nothing showed (warning sign). I then waited for the printed receipt. He eventually produced a receipt and I left. While driving away I checked the receipt and noticed it was for another customer. I called the shop to straighten everything out and realized we had a billing dispute. The woman I spoke with wound up screaming at me, hanging up on me, then refused to answer the phone for the next 45 minutes. Those two are total train wrecks. Beware!
Stephanie in housekeeping is amazing! She took the time to make sure my unit was clean and was very helpful. The ladies at the front desk (Diana) remembered me-which was cool. I am an hour away but the customer service makes it worth it to return. Thank you Woodland Team!
Uhaul switched our reservation location the night before without talking to us about it. Now had to spend extra gas and drive 30 minutes each way to pick up our truck for our move. Tried calling and asking about what happened. They told me this happens often and there is nothing they can do about it. No discount. No apology. No explanation. No customer service. Thanks for nothing.Edit***- the traffic control manager got back to me about my concerns and refunded me for the extra miles I had to drive and apologized that it happened, saying things should have been handled differently.I am thankful they called to fix things and would still use Uhaul in the future.
General manager just wont help you :) and she is going to tell you pick up your truck somewhere else even you have checked in. Worst customer service.
What can I say. U-Haul was a big failure for me overall. I rented a 20 truck 3 weeks in advance, only to find out the night before my move that the truck was unavailable after investigating a non-received confirmation call and spending over two hours on the phone in a series of please holds. The best option was on the wrong date and well out of the way. The date change was a deal breaker so before consigning myself to two days of back and forth with a pickup truck I stopped in the local U-Haul to see if there were any unanticipated availabilities. There was an inconveniently small trailer available... so at least it was better than a pickup truck. Im not satisfied with U-Haul and will avoid being a customer in the future, but at least this site was able to offer a bottom of the barrel, better than nothing option.
We had an after hours pick up scheduled. One of the two additional phone numbers they require didnt answer so they canceled our reservation. One employee inside tried to help but said he was new. We asked if the gal he was working with could help and he told us she wont be much help, shes had a long day. We asked her anyway. We were told we had to come back tomorrow at 9am to start over.
Friendly staff. I usually do the online check-in (upload drivers license, ect) which makes everything faster when you get there.
The store was supposed to open at 7:00am. By 7:40am no employee was there yet and I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone to figure out what was going on.

My girlfriend and I had one instance of very poor customer service at this location, which, since they are new, speaks to the type of experience one might expect for any service they provide at this point. An employee answered the phone when we called to make a future reservation for a storage unit. We inquired very clearly about specific details regarding a deal advertised online, and this employee was presumably having a bad day because she rushed us off the phone without answering our question. She said they should honor the deal in our case but equivocated on that, then said just bring in the contract and we should honor it without firmly and openly answering our question about the specific stipulations. Those stipulations were critical to our desire to use this location for storage, so an answer was needed, and we didnt get one. We instead ended up with a contract reservation we never explicitly agreed to. Furthermore, the details of the contract that were visible on my online UHaul account were incorrect based on what we requested, leading to more confusion about what was even entered on her end. This employee clearly got flustered, which I partly understand as she said the computer system had been giving her problems all day, but that isnt an excuse for poor customer service. Please update the employee training to include polite and efficient customer service over the phone.
We had a great experience thanks to Kathy who assisted us through the entire process. We will be returning to this location in the future.
