I’ve been at Sugarland for about 8 months now. When I was absolutely down and out, this place took my horse and my boyfriends horse in without question. Their hospitality is above and beyond, the manager ( Danika Fleming) provides excellent and attentive care for every horse on the property.I’ve been to a few boarding facilities, and happen to love the one I’m at currently. I HIGHLY recommend Sugarland for any equine need, lessons, overnight stays, events, or long term boarding. Heck, even hauling in is fun since the boarders and staff are fun and kind.I could go on for days and days, bottom line, Sugarland is the absolute best spot for your horse within a hundred mile radius. You just can’t find any place better.

Had such a wonderful experience at Sugarland. The staff and management are so accommodating and approach everyone with such kindness. This is the first show I have been to in a long time and it was a blast. Everything was run so smoothly. I cannot say enough words about how wonderful the management is.

Attended today’s event at Sugarland Ranch and I can honestly say the Ranch keeps getting better and better everyday. I feel Sugarland is getting a make over for the customers’ enjoyment as it should be. The Staff and Management are very friendly, knowledgeable and ready to assist in any way possible.

I’d like to share a current review but my close friend, my trainer, and I have all been “banned” by current management (full disclosure, she’s my former trainer and took over when my close friend resigned as ranch manager). We were told by staff that if we came on the property again the police would be called.All we wanted to do was work cows with one of the trainers on site. They’ve both left since the change in management, too. Guess I really have no reason to go back.If you’re in at Sugarland, you’re in. If you’re not...

The whole ranch has really become a beautiful place, boarding here for almost 2 years now and the facilities just keep getting better and better! We are so lucky to have Danika and the whole crew working their hardest to make this place truly amazing! Danika is an amazing trainer and makes this place feel like home ❤️ Turn outs are now green and gorgeous and the new indoor arena footing makes you feel like you’re floating with your horse! I would recommend to anyone looking to board or for lessons!

Super happy to call Sugarland Ranch home!! Good footing, quality hay, big stalls with big paddocks, great turnout, friendly, fun people, what more could you want? So much work being out in to upgrades, its really exciting to see where this place is going!

Very nice facilities, friendly and professional staff

I have taken lessons at sugarland with the UCD western team since October. This last month we started boarding our new horse sundae with SL. Earlier this year we noticed work being done on the property and things being improved here and there. Now that I am here every day I can see a lot of hard work going into this place. I am ecstatic to see the direction SL is going with Danikas management and the type of vibe this place now has. She has been putting her heart and soul into making SL the best it can be. Sugarland was great; but tired. It is now getting revamped with the TLC it deserves. This is up and coming to be woodlands hottest equestrian center and I feel lucky that I managed to get a paddock near my friends before theyre booked out!!!

I have boarded, showed, roped, barrel raced, put on and participated at many events, gymkhanas and clinics at Sugarland Ranch since the Ranch was originally purchased by Ted and Brenda(Historic Nelson Ranch/Tack Warehouse). I moved my horses, my lesson program, my CSHA Region 3 Horse Shows and Clinics to Sugarland Ranch last year. I am so impressed with the professionalism, positive business attitude, awesome care for my horses, cleanliness, friendship, overall positivity Manager Danika Flemming has brought back to to this beautiful facility (Ted and Brenda were amazing!) since she and her team took over leadership. From the kindness shown to my horses by staff, fellow boarders and visitors, I would highly recommend this great Facility. As a professional horseman, I could not ask for a better Facility to put on my CSHA Region 3 Horse Shows. Danika and her team continue to impress me with their constant improvements to to the Facility. The new footing in the covered arena is first class! From cleaning up the Ranch, and putting “ boarders, exhibitors and guests safety as a priority, I am very happy to be a part of the Sugarland Ranch family. Great horse park.

Great equestrian performances by all the university equestrian teams. Big shout out to Sugarland Horse Park for the hospitality.

Fantastic place to go and have fun at a gynkhana or a riding lesson. The horses are all so sweet and friendly.

I never been here before but i live here in woodland and I love horses. I might come here today it looks fun !! :DDDD. Btw this is a image i have seen on google, i have never owned a horse. Do you have quarter horses or Andalusians, Icelandic, and if you dont have any of those horses its ok ill ride any horse you have.

Cassie was a great trainer. Good things going on here. Animals treated very well, advanced lessons were observed and great location and facilities.

Unfortunately since my original post, the entire management team and fee structure changed. Most of boarders left. Buyer beware. Do your due diligence PRIOR to signing an agreement read the fine print
