Not all providers are bad I loved my two original providers one is no longer there but I encountered one Laurie L. Who was extremely judgmental and rude! 10 minutes into the initial appointment I was in tears! If you want to be told your diagnoses are wrong and to be left in tears see Laurie Lebhart ! She won’t listen to you and how you feel she will talk down to you and leave you feeling horrible!

I was unaware that appointments had moved to telehealth services as I had not recieved any notice of such thing, just a confirmation of my appointment that did not mention telehealth. When I arrived at the clinic, the woman at the front desk was a bit condescending and didnt quite believe that I was unaware of of telehealth.

My therapist is Amazing, she is like a sister I only wish I still had. I trust her completely, I only hope she knows how she has changed my life. Finding a therapist that truly cares and is so supportive of me when Im at my worst and she doesnt give up on me even when I give up on myself. My therapist is a trueprofessional, and Im proud to say she is not just my therapist, teacher, she is a true friend. Sue A. Thank you for being so wonderful.

I called to make an appointment at this place as I was referred by insurance. Upon calling to schedule the initial appointment, the receptionist/ scheduler on the phone was not helpful, and actually very rude. She refused to make the appointment unless I told her the authorized sessions. I shared that insurance explained to me that the clinic would have the authorized paperwork to call insurance for the authorized hours, and that I was not given this information. The receptionist/ scheduler told me thats now how things work around here. Needless to say, the appointment was not made, nor will I ever consider trying to schedule another appointment here again. I can understand why this place has received so many horrible reviews.

I wish I could give ZERO stars, Front Desk has NO customer service cannot greet you, does not listen to you as a client, rude attitudes, takes multiple breaks, no one answers the phone. If you have no people skills and cannot greet the first person that walks through the door whats the point in being here. The Asian Front Desk woman was very disrespectful! Had a snotty moody attitude they need to let her go or fire her. If you put someone rude on the front desk people will WALK AWAY and you will lose business. Cannot believe her audacity to discriminate and judge customers shame on her, and the front desk staff highly disappointed. As if that is not enough the therapist Jocelyn Vincent made me FEEL so uncomfortable asked invasive questions, judging me based off of family history, cannot listen to clients. She has no people skills people who are psychologist need to do a better job with their people skills if they have none they should not be hired! She is rude JOCELYN VINCENT shame on her and her inability to be prejudice and judge clients she is BAD therapist and because of Her and my bad experience do not recommend this place! WORST Therapist encounter especially for a first timer she ruined everything I am surprised she is certified what a joke! Honestly, take your money somewhere else where they treat you with respect.

I can see people giving this place 1 star. I would just like to say, I have been taking my daughter there for 2 years, but she sees Mark. These women doctors that everyone seems to be having problems with, dont seem very nice or considerate. I will say that Mark is an amazing listener, and very compassionate. Give him a try. Hes amazing! My daughter looks forward to seeing him. Which is always a big plus!

This place is HORRIBLE!! Dont bother with Erica OReilly shes rude and has no clue how to treat people who need simple medication she ignores you and runs you around. After dealing with BHSI I realize now how people reach anger and rage when dealing with these so called health care professionals, and insurance companies . This place is damned joke !!!

We love our nurse practitioner. She listens to our needs and takes the time we need her to take. She never rushes us out shes the only one who has gotten us on the right path. As far as I know, we will never leave. We didnt have a good experience prior to this at another clinic.

My psychiatrist at this location tried to pressure me into taking Seroquel to help me sleep. Im sure glad I refused because it is not recommended for sleep and experts recommend directly against it. This is highly concerning to me. Recommending an antipsychotic to someone who does not need one when it isnt even approved or recommended for the problem that they do have cannot possibly be best practices.

The “nurse” responsible for communicating with the provider and bring the go between for the patient answers the phone like you woke her up from a nap. She can’t be bothered to communicate when a person she works for is out of the office or take initiative to follow up with someone else so a patient doesn’t go 2 weeks without their meds. We have never had a problem with our providers (none who are listed in the other reviews) but when the gateway to the provider is so unprofessional and has no consideration for a patient there for mental health issues and that there is a possibility for serious medication mismanagement because of a lack of ability to communicate, they probably shouldn’t be employed.

If I could rate with negative stars, I would! BHSI in Woodbury was by far the worst place I have ever been for treatment of mental health. I knew from my first appointment the psychiatrist I was seeming was not a good fit for me. She had zero empathy, and quite frankly dismissed me like I was toilet paper on the bottom of her shoe. I decided to return because it was the only place I could get into without a 6 month wait and am currently in a mental health crisis. After missing one appointment and needing/wanting to return for a start fresh, I was asked “why are you here”? I was told I would not be helped and to look for an IOP. When I asked about local IOP’s I was told “I don’t work for them so I have no idea”. I had to spend 4 1/2 hours looking for a program the next day that excepted my insurance without a written referral to a program (which I was told by my insurance company is never heard of). The female psychiatrist that I saw needs to take some sociology and diversity training, or perhaps find another field. Luckily I’m not suicidal because, when I left my “appointment” ( If that’s what you would call it), I was far worse off then when I had attempted to seek help! Thanks for adding to the hopelessness that some of us seeking your services already feel! Shame on you!

Erica is a delight; listened intently, extremely knowledgeable, and asked a lot of questions. She was the best part of this experience! However, Im embarrassed and angry that the receptionist talked to me about personal financial matters in front of others in the waiting room. She did nothing to make the conversation private. Seriously?! And I could see on the chart someone told her to do that. Horrible business practice.

BHSI is horrible! I would not recommend this place to anyone.! The front dest lady is extremely rude! You cant have kids with you at your appointment, its a problem to have them in the lobby walking back and forth, while absolutely no one is there. Your the first Patient of the day. Mark I dont recommend either, he lost all my trust as a therapist! Due to him loosing my trust, I now have trust issues with therapist. So now its very difficult for me to try to look for another one. Because of the trust issues Im having a very hard time wanting to go back or finding a therapist!Trust is a very important part to healing and now because of him i cant find another therapist. This place is just awful! Dont go here for any therapy or medication! The people are rude!!! They make you feel like you cant have your kids with you at your appointment. They make you feel really uncomfortable and judged!

I called this institution in hopes that they would help me with my battle of depression, but unfortunately my grandmother is really sick. and asked if I could take her to hospital on the day of my appt. I tried to call this clinic back to apologize and explained my grandmas situation with them. It’s not my fault my grandmother is having health conditions and I’m the only family member available to help her and she asked me because there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her. Overall I feltkicked down either further by this facility that I thought would help. If I killed my self then would they finally listen? I’m a caretaker for my family and I finally built up the courage to come to speak to someone about the hopelessness and despair I feel on a daily and the only thing the representative had to say is “if you change youre appt you’re no longer welcome in this facility. It’s very discouraging that a place that is supposed to be compassionate is the exact opposite. How they can live with themselves doing that is beyond me. What does “following procedures” mean when someone who is at their lowest ask for help? You should be ashamed of yourself. Because of you I will continue to suffer in silence. Ive always oppressed the negative stigma with mental health conditionin was just exempliefies in this police. It hurts the most because I’m already at my lowest but obviously BHSI doesn’t really care I’m just a number their facility. I would gladly send them pics of me at my grandmas side. How you can do that someone that has been trough trauma and don’t where else to go. It’s heartbreaking I’m not even mad at them. They just solidified that no one will help or even care.-Masha Oheartbreaking

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had. The receptionist was unbelievably rude when I arrived as she made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for me to fill out paperwork as a new client. Then I go in to Jocelyn Vincent and could not wait for my hour to be over. The first thing she tells me,even before I sit down, is to turn my phone off- not on silent. I can appreciate this rule but the we she spoke me, was as if I was a child. She showed no compassion and would ask the same question over and over. Eventually I think she realized I would never be coming back and started talking about herself trying to relate her life to mine. I was uncomfortable the entire time and she never seemed to notice.

The triage nurse Stacy is very rude. She answers the phone in a stank monotone voice like she had just woken up from a 12 hour nap. Returns phone calls several days later and leaves personal HIPPA information on voicemails. Very unprofessional. She even metioned to me that certain task cannot be completed because Im only here until to noon. Patients are the prioity and the REASON you have a job. Likewise, Erica the NP rushes through patients like sardines, talks over you, and ships you out the door barely giving me enough time to talk. We plan to leave this facility after our next appointment.Im taking my child else where.

Sand creek has sent two or more referrals for you to call me and I called the clinic and they are saying they wont schedule my apt until they have a authorization number which sand creek has given them twice! If you receive a referral it is your job to reach out and contact that person. I will NOT be coming to this clinic. 1st impressions are everything!

The Front Desk is irresponsible here, they take breaks no one is available to help you. There was an Asian Girl! Who had an attitude was very rude, I asked for her to open the door and she said hold on in a second you never tell a customer they need to hold on. If I am a client and I am ignored you lose business. If they cannot be more welcoming or kind why bother going here! Very disrespectful, cranky and rude. If you dont like your job quit or they should FIRE her!

The receptionist was rude and made me feel unwelcome. The therapist I spoke with, Jocelyn Vincent made me feel uncomfortable. She didnt seem interested in helping and showed little empathy. If you are going to BHSI in Woodbury and you get Lavonne Michaud, MD as a Psychiatrist i would highly suggest picking a different location or psychiatrist to see. My experience was the worst i have ever had seeing a psychiatrist. Lavonne Michaud, MD was rolling her eyes at me and had an attitude in her voice the whole time i was in the appointment. I thankfully received my copay back because of how unprofessional she was. when going into a Psychiatrist i expect to be treated with respect since i am suffering from a mental illness things like rolling your eyes or attitude in someones voice can completely cause an attack.
