Ive been receiving treatment through Ellie for almost year! I remember where I was mentally when I started, and am absolutely in awe of where I am now!! I have watched myself grow through so much in the last 8 months and am so much happier than I was before and I couldnt have done it without Ellie Family Services! THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!! 💓
I have greatly enjoyed working with Ellie Family Services for a little under 3 years and have been at the Woodbury location for the last year. The office environment is very calming and there is a great team of professionals that are friendly and passionate about the work that they do.
Have called three times trying to schedule an initial appointment to start services for my son. Never received a promised call backs (3x!) including a week ago when I was told to expect a call in the next 7-10 days to schedule an appointment. This feels like a red flag warning that Ellie is not going to work for our family. Communication and responsiveness is a foundation expectation for a therapy provider. Advocate parents are already tired and frustrated dealing with schools and IEPs and Insurance - I was very hopeful looking at your website that your service was going to help our family - not add to our frustrations.Instead I called another provider today. Within 10 minutes I had an appointment for my son, ten minutes later I had the paperwork in my inbox - half an hour after calling I had signed a release with his former therapist and she let me know she had already forwarded her notes. One hour to do all that and Ellie expects me to wait 7-10 days for a phone call? Nope.No one likes making these scary initial - I need help - phone calls. Do yourself a favor, and find yourselves another provider.
Cancelled on us too many times. Also seemed to spend more time playing than working on issues. Very disappointing.
I am currently a receiving therapy at this location. Unlike the office in St. Paul providers bring you from the waiting area, there are offices but no front desk. The reception is fairly comfortable, ample seating, a station for coffee, complimentary pens and cap sticks and a zen room! This area is audio sensory friendly! Ive been seeing my provider a little over a year, and have never built such a rapport with a therapist before! I hope your experience is as favorable and pleasant as mine has and continues to be!
They mentally abuse their patients. With so many different options for therapy, you really have no reason to go here. Trust me dont waste your time and money.
