I am not a fan of mailing things, and the normal hassle required. However, since recently moving here from out of state I have come to this location numerous times now, and not once have I been disappointed, and I no longer begrudge it. The staff here are exceptional. Even when very busy, they are efficient, pleasant, and professional. All of the employees that I’ve encountered here are fantastic- most often I am assisted by Matt, who is just awesome. Matt always makes my day a little better because of the above and beyond customer care he gives and how absolutely pleasant he always is.I will continue to drive out of my way in order to come to this location over any other because of the customer care. It’s like the Chick-fil-A of UPS stores.Excellent, 10 stars!!

Went in there today to get a standard package shipped. Saw a clerk getting smart with 2 other customers before me as I was in line. Then it was my turn. I was interacting with Mark to get the transaction done and then he proceeded to get overly smart with me out of nowhere about the transaction. I also heard him start talking under his breath as I walked away too. I dont know if he was having a bad day or had something bothering him, but I did nothing to get that type of interaction. Poor customer service.

I bought some packing materials for a large shipment but did not use them all. I returned, or attempted to return one large box and two boxes of packing peanuts. I was first told the store does not allow returns. I asked where their policy states this. Then I was told they will accept my return but will charge me a 15% restocking fee. I, again, asked to see where this is stated in their policy. The manager advised me to look at the receipt as the restocking fee language was clearly stated on it, (which by the way, has no mention of said policy whatsoever)...at which point Matt, very condescendly replied, “we don’t have to accept your return at all.” Extremely arrogant and disrespectful response to my justified question. I have already reached out to UPS Corporate HQ about how I was treated and about getting my ridiculous 15% restocking fee refunded. Will never go back there again.

They are receiving 1 star because Kyle was nice and empathetic. The manager Mark on the other hand, was not. Dropped a ready to go package off to this site store last week. Kyle scanned the package but my customer never received it. I called today to find out what is going on and why the 1 package i shipped from UPS never arrived. I shipped 38 packages from USPS the same day and all my customers received by the Friday (1 to 2 day shipping). So to hear that one simple package did not make it to its destination is a bit unsettling. Kyle instructed me to call the UPS 800 number and speak to someone concerning my package. I did so but the automated service keeps throwing you back out to enter your tracking code. Of course UPS is not identifying the tracking number. So i call back to the store to speak to Mark. He kindly brushes me off and tells me there is nothing that he can do for me and that i need to call UPS. He did not take the to time to utilize any of his managerial skills to assist with an unhappy customer. I asked for the owners info and contact email and he proceeded to give me the name but an email address that would come back to the store, for him to read, not the manager. UPS is not acknowledging my tracking number as being scanned, so now i am taking a loss on my product, my customer is not happy, and a loss on shipping fees since the package was not properly scanned into the system. All in all, it is sad that no one could be of assistance to me other than turning me away. Shop where people respect the money you earn and spend! Never again...

Wow! took you 3 months into this pandemic to have your employees wear masks. Not cool dude!May 27 initial review: I went to the local UPS store in Lake Ridge, Virginia today to return an online purchase. The floor had marks for customers to stand six feet apart and the customers were following the marks and wearing face coverings. However, the employees serving customers were not wearing any face coverings or gloves and the counters, doors and shelves did not look like they had been cleaned recently. Plus there was a pile (best way to describe it) of thrown amazon boxes and other packages nearly 5ft high by about 6ft in diameter on the floor next to and and croaching on the marks on the floor. No way that UPS store was protecting either its employees or its customers.

Ed,I was not asking you to make an exception to the policy for me. This is a service thats been offered to me before and other customers. Ive picked up packages before from this cabinet. Ive seen other customers pick up packages from this cabinet. Before and after you became the owner. Theres never been anything in this cabinet. Dont try and make it seem like I asked Matt to do something thats against policy. Maybe you and Matt should focus on your CUSTOMER SERVICE. Its horrible! The next issue I have with this store I will contact the corporate office.

Today I went to this UPS store for notary services and to return a package. Upon entering the store I noticed that there were stand here placards on the floor to encourage customers to adhere to good social distancing procedures in light of the COVID-19 epidemic. During my time in the store the customers were complying, and most were wearing masks. However, of the three employees in the store, not one of them was wearing a face mask or gloves. In addition, there were no other measures to create a separation between the employee and the customer, such as plexiglass dividers or distancing ropes that are found in many other retail establishments and grocery stores. In my opinion, this shows a disregard for your customers, since wearing a mask is a measure to prevent the spread of germs / the virus to others around you.In addition, the Notary (Mark Hertel) did not accept a valid military ID card as proof of my identity, and instead asked for my VA drivers license. When I questioned him as to whether this was UPS policy, he was not clear in his response, only to remark that the military ID has Indef as the expiration. As a 26-year veteran and military retiree, I found this to be VERY off-putting. The military ID card is a valid government form of photo ID. Had I not been in such a hurry, I would have gone elsewhere to get my document notarized - and I will not return to this store ever again.

EDIT: I stopped by today 1/20/2015 at around 5:20. two young gentlemans were helping at the front desk and I got to say this was a pleasant change. both young gentlemans were very polite and helped me right away, Kudos to them. Im glad UPS paid attention to the reviews and complaints. Im a happy costumer again.(This review was from around summer 2014 which was rated a 1 star, no 0 available) - They have the worst costumer service in UPS store (#4363). This is the second time!!. my issue happened with a bald chubby guy working in store 4363 (UPS need to put name tags on their employees, yes they had none). I was waiting in line, the chubby guy pointed to the weight without saying a word or anything. I placed my package on the weight and asked him a question to which he replied with an attitude. I notice the same thing towards other costumers. I would like to remind this guy and UPS that this business is running thanks to COSTUMERS. UPS need to properly train their employees. obviously this guy skipped training and school.

I had a terrible experience with one of the employees that overcharged me for printing. I have been coming to this store for a long time and simply did not understand why all of a sudden a service charge for copies went from 15 cents to 49 cents per copy. The owner was nice enough to call me back and explain the miss understanding.

Wow! I’m kinda speechless. This store is like the Chick-fil-A of UPS stores! I have had to come here a few times this month to return items and each time I was in the line with Riain or Spencer. They greeted me with a pleasant smile and ask how they could they assist me each time. Today, I came through literally a minute before they closed and they took me to the cash register with a great attitudes. Most associates would be upset that customer walked in when they are ready to leave but not these two! If only other managers and associates were like them!! I would choose this store to walk in any day!

Just dropped two return packages. Didnt tape it because thought content verification is necessary. An old clerk complained about not making any money from these with angry face saying we go through 3 rolls a day for this. Well, now I know but you lost a customer forever

I have had a MailBox at this store for just over three years now. The customer service is outstanding, far better than the vast majority of businesses in current day America. The first time they sign for a package and youre not standing in the post office for 45 mins to pick up that same package you will know that its money well spent!!

I have to say the service here is not very good. The employees dont seem interested in helping. The woman that works here is very rude. I asked if she could give me a price on shipping three baby outfits and one tube of diaper creame (in a plastic squeeze bottle- 4 oz) so it was very small. She told me it would be $14.80. I asked about the price and she said there is a fee for putting the items in the box (a fee of $6!). I asked if I could buy the box, put the items in and then send- she said yes, but youd have to buy the box AND purchase tape... and if anything happened to the package, like an outfit was damaged, UPS would not cover it. I asked if she was saying something WAS going to happen to the package because I didnt want to pay the fee and she said, Im not implying anything... I took my items and went to the post office. Bad, Bad, Bad. Take the extra 10 minutes and drive to the other UPS store on stonebridge. Youll be glad you did!!!

Horrible service. All clerks were so incompetent, with I am better than you attitude and most importantly had no clue what they were doing. I went to the #4363 branch and could not really believe what I was witnessing. The girl who was helping me acted as if it was her first day on the job with an attutude of I dont accept any help, made tons of mistakes and was super slow. The older woman next to her, perhaps the manager, never cracked a smile, face dipped in tons of makeup with the same attitude as the younger girl. Communication between co-workers seemed very poor, as if they were competing for a price. I wonder based on so many negative reviews how are they still in business and why, oh why, corportate is allowing folks like them to successfully continue to ruin the companys image. Which, in turn, makes me wonder if perhaps the problem does not run on a much deeper level with the individual stores being simply the residue on a poor, overpriced, and slowly diminishing company.

I had been there 3 times and the service there was very bad. I contact UPS and inform them that how bad it was. I need UPS way bill, UPS customer service over the phone advised me that I can get it at UPS store. I went there and they told me that they do not provide any service if I wanted to do a third party billing. They (all workers) told me that I had to go to Springfield to drop a package or to get a way bill. I call UPS again and they told me to get it at UPS street box and then write all info and drop the box at UPS store. I did and later I had a problem again when there was no way bill in UPS street box. And I can not get any other help from UPS store. BAD BAD service.

My husband went in to find out some information on a tracking number (he wasnt getting anywhere online or phone). John R. treated him like he was wasting his time(when there was no one else in the store). He was ridiculously rude and condescending. They need a lesson in customer service. Fed Ex, here we come.
