My least favorite location of them all! Went in at 4:45pm on Saturday to pick up a small truck. Mind you, I have been renting from Enterprise for over 15 years. Had to put down $300.00 on my AMEX Gold Card, plus had to pay $110.00 for the rental. Big ripoff and it seems as though the manager upped the price on me!
Rick D. goes the extra mile for his customers.We needed a rental while our car was in the shop after a car accident.I made a mistake and made our reservation before our car insurer sent over an authorization. This makes things messy for Enterprise.You wouldnt know it working with Rick D. though. He didnt even mention it; we found out that we complicated things from the insurance adjuster.Instead of focusing on our errors, Rick went to work locating the specific minivan we wanted, because it was familiar and therefore, would feel safer to drive in the DC metro area and out of state to see the grandparents and celebrate vaccinations!When Rick didnt have the van at his location, he offered to find it at another branch even though it probably meant sending business away from his own branch. He found it and made sure it was held for us and helped coordinate the timing and pick up.Maybe his branch didnt get the business this time, but we know that next time we need a rental, that we should check the Potomac Mills, VA location and ask for Rick D.Thanks Rick D.!

I recently needed to rent a car to go down to VA Beach for a visit. I went online to put my request in and it was so easy and user friendly. I just wanted a small suv. When I arrived at enterprise I was very please to have gotten the new 2020 Audi suv. It rode so well and was great on gas. I appreciated the customer service rep providing me with this reliable vehicle. Thanks for your great service and attention to detail.
Ive rented cars from this location many MANY times over the last 3 years. So many times that the employees knew me on a first name basis. This time however it was a entire new staff and not the same atmosphere. The car I rented was still dirty inside, which normally I wouldnt bark about but during COVID times Im expecting it to smell and look like a hospital room. It did neither, I was truly disappointed. Literally went straight home to sanitize anything I needed to touch. I shouldnt have had to do that. The car also needed an alignment. Sorry Enterprise you truly let me down. You might want to retrain your new staff at this location. I will be going to a different rental company next time.
The customer service at this location is excellent. It is rare to get real customer service anymore especially at a Rental Car facility but the guys working there were excellent. This was even dealing with a cracked windshield which in 20 years of renting cars I have never had to deal with a claim and because I received an upgraded vehicle ended up costing me more than my original rental would have been which was a bummer. Even with this incident the customer service made the process easy
Everything was great and easy for my rental car process. The staff was very pleasant. My one complaint and what stopped this from being a full 5 star review is the young man that picked me up from the repair shop and the same young man that took me back when I dropped the rental car off was a horrible driver. He did not wear his seat belt at all so the constant dinging was only drawing attention to the way too fast driving and way to hard braking. At one point he had to slam on the breaks. If he doesn’t have an accident at some point it is only by sheer luck. I was honestly scared and I have 3 teenage drivers in my house.
If I could give the customer service a 0 I would. Spoke with a guy who worked Saturday, they were closing at 3 I explained I am traveling with my two year old and needed a car was getting a Lyft to bring me to their office because them bringing the car to you as they advertise. Anyways the guy told me he would wait for me called him as my Lyft got to where I was to bring me there said he would still wait . I understand it’s after hours but he said he would wait and did not. !!! My eyes he didn’t have to say he would wait for me and not wait. Kept him updated the whole way and he still left. He missed out on a good tip and clearly has no humanity to lie about waiting knowing I was 10 mins away !
What started as a customer service ‘inconvenience’ while dealing with the dale city location was turned around by Tariq at the Potomac Mills location! I got the service and help expected when renting a car. After discussing with Tariq the issues I had at dale city he ensured I had the right car to make it home to my kids with! Plus he had the spirit we all need in times of covid. I would return to this location. Thank you.
Worst customer service experience ever
Reservations was for 730am. Manager showed up late. Location didnt open till 749am. (It is supposed to open at 730am).So that put me behind on my work schedule. Plus car was not ready, had to wait another 10 minutes for them to clean the car. Then, when I got car, it was low on gas. So had to make another stop to put gas before heading for work. Not the best service experience expected from Enterprise.
My vehicle was taken in for a recall and the dealership provided me a rental through Enterprise. The office staff was very professional and helpful. I had the vehicle for about six weeks. When my vehicle was ready, the staff recommended I return it to the car dealership and they picked it up the next day.I have rented from Enterprise for almost 40 years and have never had a bad experience.

Rented a car at the enterprise in Woodbridge next to Potomac mills mall, the car smelled so bad that it made me so nauseous.I felt really violated because I’m very sure they knew that car had such a pungent smell!. For my next rental, I had to switch locations because I was a bit skeptical going back to same location for another rental .
They have great customer service, and are always very helpful! I would recommend utilizing their services for any occasion!
I previously had a terrible experience with Enterprise but decided to give the rental company another shot but at a different location. I am SO glad and relieved that I found this location. The friendly and professional staff has restored my trust and faith for Enterprise. They were not only efficient, but also extremely transparent on the process and charges that would be made to my card. I cannot stress enough how amazing each staff member I interacted with was. I look forward to working with them again.
My rental experience was excellent! Danielle and her employees were genuine with great customer service and they are very good at what they do. They were flexible and understanding. Sometimes the reasons you need to rent a car for is an un- pleasant one but they make you feel as good as you possibly can in an otherwise bad experience.I will return to the Potomac Mills site in VA for any of my future rental needs. I booked online and when I went there they said that the license and debit card name have to be the same. No mention of it on the website. Makes no sense how someone cant pay for you. They dont work with chime. I just left and said i will use my own car.
Upon arrival to pick up my rental I had my expectations. Ive used Enterprise for 98%of my rentals and always had a good experience. Well this time was that one time, the car REAKED of marijuana and the car was disgustingly dirty. Now if it were just me I wouldnt have cared but seeing i rented for a FAMILY trip and im paying for services, I expected a clean car. The representative told me, we didnt have time to wash it and just brushed it off as it was nothing...you have 8 hours a day and didnt have time to atleast run it through a carwash? My wife was livid, and that experience changed her mind and we will be using someone else from now on. I mean atleast air the car out so it doesnt smell like it was hot boxed for a week straight. SMH Enterprise.
I had a car crash and reserved a rental car online. When I arrived the wait time was short...about 5minutes. The car was all set waiting for me. The lady was marvelous...she explained all I needed to know including the various insurance options and fuel. My reservation was for 1 week, but I used the car just for 2 days and purchased a new car. I was fully refunded for the rest of the days. Customer service was great. Since they didnt send a car to pick me up at my residence, the agent granted me a reduction in the fuel level upon return of the car.

We have previously rented a vehicle for this Enterprise location. I reserved our vehicle on line on a Friday. When I went for the vehicle first thing Monday morning, the procedure for receiving it went smoothly. The vehicle was in tip top shape. No problems whatsoever. Checking in the vehicle when we were done went just as smooth. We will definitely rent a vehicle from this Enterprise the next time we are in Virginia.
Loved the staff. Excellent communication. Came in on 7/12 to get a rental, their systems had just went down. The branch manager kept me informed on everything that was going on. Although the systems didnt come up, they offered me a paper contract so I could get back to work. I was having issues with the car that I had originally rented and justin and his staff went above and beyond to help me find another car so i could switch before i left for vacation. Its wonderful when the manager knows you by name and Ive only rented from this location about 2 times now. This is my permanent location now and I will always return here. I am very satisfied with my rental experience at this enterprise. My rental was reserved by my insurance company (USAA) and there were no issues with the pickup. The staff are very friendly and always willing to fix any issues a customer might have. I was impressed by the professional and energetic atmosphere in their office. I recommend this Enterprise.
First car had expired plates and grinding brakes. Second Car reeked of marijuana masked with an attempt to mask with cleaning solvent.Ive rented with Enterprise before from airports with zero issues. There is something lacking renting from non airport locations.
The cars need to be thoroughly cleaned and vacuumned. It smelled probably from the previous renters. Stickers were half peeled on the windshield and needed to be fully scraped off.
Unfortunately, I did not have an adequate experience with this location and it was my first time using Enterprise. A few weeks out, I created my online Enterprise profile and booked my rental SUV via the customer service agent over the phone. I set a specific pickup time based on my own tight agenda and arrived 10minutes prior to the pickup time. Upon my arrival, I was told that their system showed my pickup for the next day. The agent did not show me this on their database screen. I however showed them my confirmation email from the weeks prior with in fact my pickup date for the day I was there. The agent didnt have the vehicle I confirmed, nor was it readily available. The agent had to call someone to pull the vehicle and I was told that it had to be cleaned and prepared for me. This of course took more time than I had available and caused me to take additional leave time from my job to cover the delay. When the vehicle finally arrived, another agent took me outside to look at it and said she put a rush on it because she was told I was in a hurry. Basically, it looked like the vehicle was sprayed down with a water hose. The inside was not clean at all, so much so, there was dog/cat hair all over the place, which caused my daughter to go into a sneezing frenzy. I noticed a large sign at the check-in counter that specifically addressed NO PETS in the vehicle, so with that said, that alone should have not rendered this vehicle ready for rental use. Again, I was pressed for time and this was what I got. The original agent at the check-in counter gave me the managers card and said he placed a note in my file for the manager to contact me the next day. I believe around 1pm the next day, after not hearing from the manager, I called him. He said he was just getting around to calling some folks and I was on the list. I explained all that happened and how it was imperative that I either get another comparable vehicle within the next few hours or Id be stuck with this due to my travels. He offered me a standard size car or to bring the vehicle back to get a full detail (hours I didnt have). I explained that I already owned the same car he offered me and due to my medical reasons I would need a SUV for the length of travel and my lower back issues. Also I let him know that because we just sold our SUV, I would be coming to them more frequently over the course of the year for SUVs based on extended travels. I asked him to please keep this in mind regarding my customer profile and tight schedule for pickup and drop off. He said he didnt have much more he could do without having another SUV on hand for that day but would give me a call in a few hours if something arrived. Thus, I was stuck with getting the vehicle detailed the very next morning because it rained the previous afternoon I spoke to the manager. I couldnt get all the pet hair remnants out, so my daughter had to tough it out with her allergies for a 9 hour trip each way to/from Virginia to Tennessee. I was less than pleased and ultimately this was a huge first impressions BUST for a company Ill need to do business with throughout this year, as early as June 2918, and maybe next year as well. I take customer service and customer loyalty very seriously and this not what I expected on my end of a rental agreement.
What a CON! They tell you about $25 a day and then charge your card. With tax $165/week. But unless you specifically decline all their fee and insurance, even though I did and use my own insurance, the price is closer to $90 a day when you get the credit card bill. Friendly staff cant make up for an extra $65 a day. Use another company. And check they dont pull the same tricks!!!
Excellent customer service and a fair price. Local to me so I would definitely use again. Chrysler 200- very good mileage but a very weird 9 speed automatic that sometimes lugged at low speeds and could not make up its mind what gear it wanted to be in. Does it need a recalibration by Chrysler?
This is an excellent rental service. I have been a long time Avis Preferred customer, but Im convinced Ive made a mistake. Enterprise, particularly at this branch, was exceptional - service and professionalism. Having a car in the shop while trying to juggle responsibilities is always stressful, but renting with the courteous staff at the Potomac Mills Enterprise was a breath of fresh air - hassle free, understanding, and willing to make sure I got the best rate available for my rental. I rented a car yesterday. The customer service is fine. They can do a few simple things like wiping the switch board, reclining the seats in the right position to give the customers a good impression of the car. I rented a 2019 mini van with only 4k miles but I didn’t feel it as there was dust on the switch board and the seats messed up positions.
I rented a car from this location last month and the car was absolutely disgusting!! I called customer service to communicate my concern with the vehicle and they mentioned someone would call me to discuss further? A month has passed and no one has ever contacted me, shows why I will stay with Hertz for my rental car needs! I would not recommend Enterprise to any of my family or friends!
The constant change in staff with Enterprise brings constant change in the way situations are handled. It’s frustrating & affects customer service tremendously. I have been renting cars regularly from this location for the last year and a half & would appreciate consistent handling of situations. They were much better in the beginning. Due to the recent decline in customer service, I plan on switching to a more consistent company.

The guy that gave me my rental car told me i was gonna be charged a $200 deposit which was expected. Now a week after returning the vehicle I haven’t received my deposit back. After contacting customer service I was told that i was never charged a deposit and paid nearly $500 for a rental. So i was lied to . Highly disappointed will never be renting from enterprise!
Enterprise Potomac Mills gave a excellent muscle car, the Dodge Challenger in black. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the price.

I had a horrible experience renting from this location. After my brand new 2015 Ford Mustang was rear ended on the Prince William Parkway my insurance setup a rental with Enterprise. I declined the insurance coverage of $20 per day and what a huge mistake this turned out to be. During the initial walkthrough of the vehicle it was noted on my contract that the car had existing damages to the front right bumper. I only drove this vehicle for six days and put very few miles on it. I was careful not to pull up too far in parking spaces, made sure to return the car with more fuel than I started with, etc. Upon returning the vehicle I was told that there was fresh damage to the front right bumper and that a claim is being filed against my insurance to pay the damages. I argued that the damage was already noted on my original contract and showed them a copy but to no avail. They abbreviate the existing damages as WT and then claim it is normal wear and tear. This lures the consumer into a false sense of security because you think the existing issues are documented but when you return the car they will act like the conditions are much worse than before. It is all carefully orchestrated so if you deny the extra insurance you will become a target. The woman I dealt with knew that my experience would end inconveniently the moment I drove away. I cant stand dishonesty in business and advise everyone to buy the insurance if doing business with this company because they will try to scam you. I will never rent from Enterprise again.

Needed a compact for 48 hours to tour Northern VA. Found the Woodbridge store and Camille Davis. Quick response, walk to the car and I am off.Wow, that was fast. No walk around the car detail check. I took pictures of the damage to the car when I got home just to prove it wasnt me.Returned on time and Camille checked me in and I was gone in 5 minutes although the store was packed.Enterprise is our favorite for all the institutional reasons...only college graduates, learn to wash cars, earn your way up the ladder, opportunities always exist.The car was unwashed, carpet dirty, and drivers seat was NASTY. I dont recall any worse condition of a car with Enterprise. Why have they changed their practice of being the best?Mac
I want to thank the staff at Enterprise. I was in Virginia visiting my daughter when our return flight to Maine was cancelled due to possible storm systems. I went to get a car to travel back home and the staff was so helpful and went beyond by calling me the following day to make sure the trip went well. thank you so much for making a stressful time not so crazy.

Unfortunately a great thing has been eroded to something bad.. my past couple if visits have not been too pleasant. It wasnt explained that the rental policy has changed and I was charged for 3 days for a 1 day rental. 2. I didnt recieve a rental agreement 3. I didnt receive a receipt or phone call after the rental. Gave 2 stars because the vehicle was safe and comfortable.. even though it was given to me on an empty tank and not cleaned. I didnt like it and I will most likely no longer recommend Enterprise.
The one on Dale Boulevard was horrible. The one in Potomac Station was great. The extra mile is worth it. Avoid the Dale Blvd location

I rented a vehicle from Enterprise, paid for by my auto dealer while my car was in for repairs.The rental experience was outstanding as usual because I have rented vehicles from Enterprise on many occasions and always received outstanding service.The only dislike I had was the vehicle itself. it was a Chrysler 200. Due to the poor design by Chrysler of this vehicle, it had too many blind spots. It took a lot of getting use to the car, luckily I only had to drive it from the pick up to my home then back to the dealer later that day to pick up my car. The Chrysler 200- very good mileage but a very weird automatic that sometimes lugged at low speeds and could not make up its mind what gear it wanted to be in.I understand this is not a problem Enterprise can correct, but it would be nice if you would pass this word on to Chrysler. I made up my mind many years ago that I would never buy a Chrysler product for just this reason and they have made no improvements over the years.
Great customer service, upgraded to a larger vehicle, easy to renew. They even found a wallet I had left and kept it safe until i was able to pick it up.

I reserved the vehicle about a month in advance, the company called me the day before to remind me, and the process in getting the car was fairly smooth. I think itd be a good idea if the website when you reserve the car told you that thered be security deposit fees and what they would approximately be, it would help a lot in planning trips and not be a Surprise! You need to pay an additional $400 tomorrow when you come in!The car itself performed well on the road, but there were times that the ventilation system didnt work- wed be driving through cow pastures or past a dead skunk and even though the internal circulation had been running since we started the car the outside smell was still vented through. Made for some unpleasant parts of the trip.Returning the car was easy and it was nice that I could return it early to get a days cost back. Overall a good experience with only minor discomforts.

I will never return to this location. Came once. Service was beyond slow but the agent was nice. Needed a car for a work related task and decided to return to this location. Big mistake. My reservation was on a Tuesday at 5:30 pm for an intermediate. A rep called Monday to confirm. A rep called again on Tuesday afternoon to tell me they may have to give me a van because they didn’t have any cars. But he guarantedd me I’d have a car. I quote (because I still have the voicemail and, thanks to iPhone, a transcript of the call) he said, “...but again I just wanted to let you know that we will have a vehicle for you for sure just wanted to give you heads up what our situation was currently”. I arrive at 5:30 and he tells me he is sold out. All of the local enterprise centers close at 6. I told him I had a reservation. He looks confused until he checks the computer and said, “oh yeah I called you.” I told him about his guarantee and he says that he would’ve called around 2p to tell me they had no cars. Mysteriously I don’t have any record of that call. Why would you leave a message guaranteeing me a car but not leave one to tell me there are no cars (assuming he actually called)? I had to call enterprise and luckily the location on Dale Blvd helped me out 5 mins before they were closing. I don’t know if I’ll ever return to any Enterprise (I’m still waiting for them to follow up on a few issues) but if I must and I’m in Woodbridge...it’ll be to see the guys at Dale Blvd.

Original reservation was sent to an Enterprise that was not where I normally reserve my vehicle. The associate offered a larger vehicle for the same price and moved my reservation to the her Enterprise. Very much appreciated not having to go to the other dealer and outstanding customer service.
We use this location whenever we need a rental. Reserving online is easy. Pickup and dropoff can be kind of crazy if its busy because the location is tucked into a strip mall. This time, when I realized I had to pick up an hour later than I originally indicated I called and was told there may not be a car available if I didnt get there right away.At pickup they didnt check over the car and there was minor damage to the bumper. My daughter took a picture for proof. At dropoff, the girl questioned the damage. Fortunately, the guy who checked the car out was there and verified the prior damage. Well still continue renting from here but will make sure someone notes any problems.
