The front desk was fine.....they were polite and very helpful...I am upset at the apparent over booking...how you can give me a 10:00am appointment and tell me my car wont be ready for hours later because people are before me ok thats fine.... but dont book the appointment unless that time slot is available....so this time they made it faster but the car wash sucked....windows were dirty the car did not look washed at all....I am not happy about the price and then you have to wait so long and I understand that they were trying to hurry because I complained about the wait..but the job still or should be done properly......dissatisfied customer
They asked me for a 5 star review after I gave them a 4. Offered a free detail for a better review, which I submitted before having my car detailed. They had my car for 4 1/2 hours, and my rear headrest was still dirty, my windows still had smear marks, and the outside of my car had smear marks in what I assume was from them waxing the car. I could’ve done a better job detailing my car, and in half the time.
A waste of time waited an hour with my 3 year old and they never did the service because they did not have the parts. Then as i was leaving a sales man approached me and pressured me bout selling my car and getting an upgrade. He kept trying to sell me a sedan when I clearly already have an SUV I repeatedly told him that I am not interested in a car he continued to pressure me. They are so desperate to make a sell that they showed me a vehicle that was not even detailed yet. The salesman did not listen to my wants. He wasted even more of my time. He got my hopes up only to be shot down. I do not recommend this overly aggressive place!
Before going to this service center I always had long part waits, inconsistent ETAs, and sometimes having to bring car right back. Once I purchased my car from Koons Hyundai I’ve always use their service center. Front desk provides great service, info and updates. I never get sold but informed of current and potential down the road issues that need to be resolved and car drives like new when I get back…not to mention the free car wash and tire shine that I get to avoid doing in the heat of summer. There’s a lot more I can say but to sum it up, it’s always a positive experience which is hard to find these days and I’ll be a lifelong customer as long as I live here.
I had a campaign sent to me in regards to having something replaced on the car that would affect my emissions pretty much a recall I called to schedule an appointment the customer service rep made an appointment for the next morning which was great. I arrived early I was read it immediately but told that it could take up to two Hours tree Pl. if they had the part in stock. I feel if you know there is a recall you should stock the parts or let the customer service reps know whether parts are there or not before scheduling appointments I had to work that day and after 30 minutes of waiting I asked if the part was in stock since I saw that my car had not moved but they did not seem busy that morning only to be told they did not have to park so I feel a good 45 minutes of my time was wasted when I should’ve been told in advance prior to making the appointment that they would let me know when they had the parts.
I hate to rate this dealership service department so low, I truly love them but this time around I requested the valet services in which they come pick up the car for your convenience. I have never receive such disrespect from the service department, the customer service was trash. I recently had a baby a month ago which is why I was using the valet service and the calls I received in reference to picking up my car where unacceptable. “You need to be outside now, cause no one is waiting for you” my car is on the street and as soon as I received a notice that the young man was here I came downstairs but received another call from a nasty employee
Took my car in for service for the first time since buying it. Scheduling the appointment, drop off, and pickup were all a breeze. Everyone I spoke with was professional and friendly. They do a great job of giving you status updates, so I always knew where the car was in the process.
It was my first time going to get a service there and it was an easy experience. Dropped my car off for a repair and my car was completed in the afternoon. Elliot was very helpful and kept me updated as needed. I appreciate that it didn’t take more than a couple of hours. I would definitely bring my car back for future repairs and maintenance checks.
Service was excellent from the time in the door and when I left with car. Service department kept me informed with the services that was done and got me a loaner while car was being fixed. I would highly recommend them to family and friends for future service for all there vehicles.
I should preface with this review is based on when I picked up my car and nothing else. The service was completed just fine, the front desk person called and was very polite and professional. I dont have any issues with that part. HOWEVER, when I picked up my car, the passenger seat was reclined all the way back and I had to wipe a fair amount of grease off of my gray leather seats that was left by a tech. They also left grease spots on several touch areas inside the car/dash area which was disappointing. It doesnt take much extra attention/care to put the seat back the way you found it, or lay a cover over the seat to prevent grease from getting on it. I understand car repair techs have grease on their hands/clothes/etc. I also understand this is literally their job and a bit more care from whichever tech that was would be appreciated in the future.
I bought 2021 Hyundai Kona from this dealership. Salesman, Sam, did a great job in explaining features and updates of vehicle. He responded immediately to my calls/texts on follow up as the vehicle was transferred recently from manufacturer and needed some cleaning before delivery. He also went out of the way to deliver the vehicle to my home with a tank full of gas. So, my 5 * go to him personally.

The staff is unorganized and they do not know how to handle pressure. I understand that working weekends can be stressful but you don’t show you’re stressed in a work environment in front of customers, that’s unprofessional. It took over 3 1/2 hours for an oil change and state inspection not only that but once i picked up my vehicle a hazard warning came on my dash about my headlight being out. I was not notified at all.
15k maintenance tire rotation air filter and recall work, Robert who was my service manager was great I had no problems there they even finished under quotes time estimate, only left off a star because then next day three of my tires were below 30 and all four were cool before it wasn’t a big deal just attention to detail. And I wish my out of state included service worked here, had to move because of the pandemic
I always go to have my service here as this is where I’ve bought my last 2 cars. The service is normally great and quick but this time I waited 4 hours for a check engine light and a coil to be replaced. I made an appointment and arrived by 8:45. The advisor was very professional, informative and apologetic about the delay but it was frustrating because I had to wait all that time.I have other service that needs to be done that I would like to have done at here but I will most likely do a drop off service instead of waiting for my car.
I went back to Koons dealership after 28 years this time on servic deportment front desk people were nice and polite.Each one of them was very nice. They recommended me few things for my car and most important they told me the cost of repairs up front which is very reasonable.I
I have had plenty of luxury cars and my Experience has always been a luxury experience when getting my car serviced. This was anything but that. I asked for a loaner or rental when I made the appointment and was told someone would call me back, but didn’t get a call. Then when I got there was told they don’t have loaners. The waiting area was dirty, the office seemed unorganized and the communication was poor. I was there for over 2 hours, then called and texted the office and got no answer. I finally walked over and asked about the status of my car to find out it was done. It had been sitting out in the lot waiting. They couldn’t find the keys, the first guy checking me out couldn’t tell me why it was a recall or if they added fluids where I was getting warnings. He just said they are supposed to do it.However when I got it back, there was no vacuuming, no washed windows or exterior washing of the car. Those are typical services I’ve had in going to the dealership. From what I heard from the others waiting, this is typical service at this location. I won’t be using it again. I only gave them 2 stars because the gentleman who I scheduled the appointment with was very pleasant and professional.

This place has been garbage ever since KOONS took over. I used to be able to come in at 7:30-8 in the morning and be out within an hour, but not anymore! On 8/8/21, I arrived at 7:50 am and had to wait until after 11 am to get a simple oil change and they still hadn’t completed the other service I asked for, which was my emissions test, and again this is after THREE HOURS!! I will never be coming back to this location because they don’t offer you anything of substance. At least Malloy used to give you free inspections, all KOONS does is overcharge and make-up false details about items that need to be repaired. They are running a scam on their customers and they must be reported immediately! They are the true definition of what a dumpster fire company looks like!! On top of that, their prices are out of control, they are overcharging for simple services such as oil changes?! Like in what world does an oil change ALONE cost $55.00!??! I requested a simple oil change without a tire rotation and was charged as if I had received both, which was still overtly expensive! Then the guy at the side desk tried to tell me that if I had gotten the tire rotation, the price wouldnt have increased at all, so Im expected to believe that the tech would have rotated my tires for FREE?!?!? Not a chance, the only lesson I learned is that the Woodbridge,VA KOONS HYUNDAI SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A SCAM, WITH FRAUDULENT AND CORRUPT PRICING!! Please take your car to another Hyundai dealership, this place is not worth your time!! I’d actually recommend the Brown’s Hyundai dealership in Manassas, I know it’s a bit of a drive, but their prices are fair and they complete the work in a timely manner, and their staff is really friendly and respectful. However, this Woodbridge location can’t even be bothered to place your next service visit sticker in your car, nor do they have the decency to provide you with the multipoint inspection paper!! Seriously, whats the point of giving free multipoint inspections if the customer never gets the paper back to see what is supposedly wrong with the vehicle, they are cheapskates, which doesn’t really make sense since they are who overcharging for their services!! They will never live up to the service that Malloy provided because their customer service department and overall work ethic is terrible. Their workers are rude and have very nasty attitudes and soon they will be following Malloy into going out of business! Cant wait to see what the next Hyundai dealership is, because KOONS isnt it....

The service and customer service is good but the prices are to high now. You guys don’t care about customers that have been loyal with Hyundai. Prices are extremely high and that will end the up in customers leaving.

The service center was really old and the furniture was falling apart. I was uncomfortable just being there for 1hr for my oil change. I needed a shuttle but they couldnt get one in time. Gave me a half a decent car wash. I think they just use water and thats it. I wouldnt come back here due the lack of convinience. Friendly service advisors though.

I made an appointment at 3:00pm in the afternoon and I drove the vehicle to the dealership at 4:00pm. The dealership (Elliot) contacted me at 11:00am the next day and informed that the vehicle was fixed (less than 20 hours after I brought the car in). The dealership in Fredericksburg had the vehicle for over a week and didn’t even get it in the shop. The Woodbridge Hyundai dealership has a new customer!

The service tech told me my Drive belt was crack based on the mileage of my car. My drive belt was replaced 3 weeks before this oil change service was performed. Theyre running a scam, customer beware.🤬
I arrived at my appointment 30 minutes early. My appointment was to get my window washer fluid pump replaced because the liquid kept leaking. I was there for 2 1/2 hours only to find out that they could not find the part that they ordered. I was then told that they would order the part again and get it delivered overnight but I am yet to hear from them.
The price for the oil change was too much and besides that it took fregging 4 hours to complete.

I am very disappointed. After paying almost $900 my husband and I research what services actually were required vs. elective/inspected and discovered the majority of what was done was not needed (despite what I was told over the phone). I was misled by the service dept and told these services were required when the were not.
Warranty not serviced took the Hyundai Tucson to another dealer.
Was informed of the repairs needed and pricing.
