I waited for longer than normal and they have a system where they move you from bay to bay which is supposed to ensure that you get first come first serve service. Thats so you dont get stuck in a longer line while someone who shows up 20 minutes after you cant jump your spot.

First time visiting Valvoline after being fed up with the Toyota dealership. I was amazed at how quick and easy this was! I was able to pull right in and was out in 20 minutes with an oil change and tire rotation. They took the time to walk me through everything they did, very friendly, and it was half the price!

Went in for an oil change and front/rear diff fluid change. No issues here. Friendly service and no upselling. Was on my way home and decided to go to the Woburn one to make life easier for the day. Went in, told them what I wanted, and told me other items are recommended but I declined it and they said ok, I will put it in the receipt for you to look over. That’s all.

I have never actually written an online review before and the sole purpose of me writing this review is because I want to shine a light on the management at this Woburn location. That being said, my 5 star review is directed towards everyone who was there EXCEPT the manager that was working at the time of my visit. (Im not sure his name, but my invoice says Manager Evan on it, so I can only assume thats him). Ive gone to Valvoline for my oil changes for years and have never had any problems until my most recent visit there this past Friday. To make a long story short... everything was going smoothly and the workers were all very kind, fast, and professional. There were a couple odd things that happened during my oil change that I did not think much of until afterwards. As I was leaving, I noticed a sensor lit up on my dashboard that was not lit up before I got there so I got out and walked back towards the workers to see what the issue was. There were a few workers, along with the technician who was working on my car, who came over to see what the issue was. They all had no idea what could be causing this so they asked their manager what to do. I saw him just stare at them with a blank look on his face, shrug his shoulders, and literally walk away. The technician apologized to me many times for this saying he did not know what to do further. Then I was told that I need to bring my car to a mechanic or my car dealership who will then run a test for free to figure out the issue. Well, this free trip was no where near free. To run the diagnostics it was 160$, and then to fix what was broken (which ended up being my hood latch) the total price came out to over 400$. I then called Valvoline because clearly this happened as I was getting my oil changed. The assistant manager (Katie) quickly took care of me and also acknowledged and apologized for the managers actions this morning, as she was also there for the whole thing and remembered who I was. She handled this situation extremely professionally and contacted the area manager to ensure I was taken care of. She then called me back 5 minutes later telling me she opened up a case for me and they would be paying for the entire cost for repairs/labor since this happened under their care of my car. I couldnt believe how helpful she was with this whole thing and Im so happy she was the one who answered the phone. Im also still blown away by the way I was treated by the manager earlier that day and I cant thank Katie enough for taking care of this unexpected issue.

After using Valvoline Oil change many times in this location as well as others, this will be the last time I will ever use them. I drive an older Volvo with 95k miles and have never used synthetic oil. After waiting in line for over 25 minutes, the person that took me in refused to do the oil change unless i used synthetic oil, I told him i always go there and never use synthetic, he very rudely said it was someone else and he would not do it. I told him that he would lose a customer and he said it was fine!! I own a small business and if I ever lose a customer small or large, I loose sleep over it, this guy just did not seem to care, I guess they have enough customers. Any way went to another service and they took care of me no problem. I am shocked at the way that I was treated. By the way this is my first negative google review ever. I takes a lot for me to complain about service because I know how hard it is to deal with people.

Waited 30 minutes for the female to tell me I was lying about my position in line, and that she had checked the cameras. She did a whole lot of mumbling under her breath for someone who was 100% wrong so I left. I don’t need someone stripping drain plugs under my car because they can’t work under pressure and throw tantrums. Hire adults…not children.

My engine was perfectly fine I brought it in for an oil change and no more than 45 minutes later did it break my engine oil over absolutely everything and they short changed me 11$ I call them they give me my 11$ and tell me it’s not their fault my engine wore out... I JUST GOT A BRAND NEW ENGINE 4 YEARS AGO

Sat there for 40 minutes well other cars before me got to go in by far the worst Valvoline I’ve ever gone to slowest one I’ve ever seen in my life. I had to leave because I couldn’t even wait any longer it was absolutely disgusting

As someone that is very particular on who touches their baby, I must say within 30 seconds Ryan and James had me at ease. I know there was a girl in the pit but I didnt get her name but she deserves recognition as well. I watched them like a hawk and they did everything exactly as I would have!! Thank you and you have earned a customer for life!!

Oil change and tire rotation were fine. brought a coupon that clearly stated additional $10 off oil change for Healthcare providers. was told by the tech it couldnt be added to another coupon even though it clear said additional 10$ off sort of felt like false advertising. if youre a health care worker dont expect that coupon to be honored like I did

Its was the worst run operation no coordination of vehicles waiting they told me to park behind the next car waited for 20 mins then said i had to move and switch places with another customer because she was there first???? They told her to park there and me to park where i was I DROVE OFF I HAVE 4 VEHICLES I USE TO SEND THERE IM GOING TO JIFFY LUBE ...

It was quick and easy just know that it is going to cost around $100

I had never been to a Valvoline. I like how you can chill in the car while the work is happening. The team worked really well and efficiently together. The person who took care of me explained what I needed to get done soon and showed me the test strip. It was great and everyone was very friendly. Quick service and inexpensive.

Been going there for 8 years now. The service and convenience is great. Also, I like that they check your tires, fill your window washer fluid in between oil changes for free.

After waiting 45 minutes for one car ahead of me (and 3 going in the lanes next to me), I was informed that “we don’t stock the semi-synthetic oil” which of course meant having to pay for the most expensive kind with no offer of a discount. Was also not given any report on when I needed my next oil change either on a sticker or in the emailed report. Workers were nice but definitely will not be returning.

I dont know if they stripped it out, but they did think it was okay to put a drain plug back in that condition. When charging as much as they do, thats unacceptable. They also zip tied the splash panel back into place, which isnt a big deal, but again, for what they charge, unacceptable. The good news is once I drill out the stripped bolt they put in, Ill never have to go to or think about Valvoline again.

I called ahead to make sure I can bring my own oil. Was forced to wait 20 min. Then was told they would not let me use the oil I had purchased. When I had called to rectify this i was told that the one location I went to, the store I had called to begin with did not do it.

AMAZING PEOPLE! I blew a tire across the street and the whole crew was super helpful, really went above and beyond, and saved me from having to get towed. Thank you again guys!

Ive been here twice now for a Honda pilot. Easy to find place not far off 93. Both times Ive been serviced quickly and at a reasonable price. The second time in I had a bunch of things done based on mileage Id normally get done at the dealership. Done quickly, more conveniently, and at a better price.

Got my oil change done there on 10/22/20. The technician tried to get me change my engine air filter, but I didn’t wanna change. The technician then put it back backwards with the dirty side of the filter facing the engine which could have damaged the air flowmeter sensor. I found out that the air filter was put backwards when today 10/24/20 the car started sputtering and hesitating while idling and accelerating. I demand that someone from management to contact me because I need to be repaid for the damage that you cost me to fix your technician’s fault.

This place is typically great for oil changes. Its fast and convenient. You need to try to come when its quiet or you could wait 30 minutes before getting a bay. The manager here is really nice and the team is run very well. Last time I went here though they dropped my engines oil cap and looked all over the engine for about 20 minutes. We finally found it on the ground under the wheel. Thats the only problem I had here. Be careful though - they like to tell you that you need a flush of your steering fluid, coolant or transmission.

This location is the gold standard for instant oil change and quick service stops for me. I drive out of my way to get to this particular branch.First, for a regular oil change the service is quick and easy. Ive never waited long, and these technicians know how to get it done without any fuss.Second, I have on several occasions received such good customer service here I cant believe it. In one case, in lieu of waiting in the line for an oil change, they sent a tech out just to change a blinker light for me. Above and beyond.In sum: the best.

Complete SHAM. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE! It’s known that these places, Valvoline, Jiffy Lube, etc are known for upselling customers on services they don’t need. Given this is the nature of the business... but lying to me about needing a transmission flush for a “discounted price” of $169.99 is not good business practice. Brought it to my local dealer/service center at home... told me there were NO signs of needing a transmission flush. When they didn’t even have the oil my car needed in stock, I told them I didn’t need any service and I’d bring it somewhere else. They proceeded to leave my dip stick on top of my engine under the hood (accident...? 🤔) NEGATIVE STARS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. You’ll go for an oil change & leave with holes poked in your air tubes. Shady location. Avoid. 🛑

Ok so over the summer I had a power stearing issue where I had to replace the gear box drain out all the stearing wheel fluid. Brand new fluid is in it and the older woman with the glasses tried telling me it was dirty and hasent been changed in a while. Before that I had a leak in my trans where all the fluid just came out it was a lose hose. Not sure how it happend but it was filled with brand spanking new fluid. And the same woman shows me clean trans oil on a napkin suggesting its bad and needs to be changed. Same thing with an air filter I replaced on my own week before one time. Same woman each time. I go there for an oil change and thats it. Its a good fast place for what you need but the staff will and had lied to me many times on what I need to get done. Ill still go for an oil change and service when I need it but my advice to any one is know what is what before you go in and dont let them lie to you.

I used to go to this place every 3 weeks bringing my company cars and my own car .Just came to jiffy lube down street and guess what? No lines no BS and plus a free coffee!! Most of the time it is fast, but I like the fact that I can bring my proven synthetic oil and matched STP filter to run double amount of recommended miles (rated 15000) compared to standard synth. I never go for the trans flash - that is changing only 20% of fluid at best. The same applies to radiator flash. I wish they would drain the whole trans / rad fluid - maybe we need petition local congress rep?

Stopped for an oil change. Told me that I needed differential fluid and that the previous owner had never serviced the car. On the screen in front of me it showed 99$. I asked how long it would take and was told 5 minutes. 1 hour later and 300$ in the hole I’m still sitting here... I was led to believe it was $99 for the service I was told was absolutely necessary. Apparently it’s 99$ per whatever and I guess I needed 3 of them?. At least I got the oil changed? Prepare to be robbed.

I never had to get an oil change at an actual oil change service provider before as I always had someone change it for me at home or went to my car dealer. I was PLEASANTLY surprised how quick and easy it was! It was a drive-through service (first come, first serve) and it was quick and easy being that I did not have to even get out of my car! I really would recommend this to anyone that is looking for something quick and easy.

The staff at woburn valvoline were attentive, informative and extremely professional. The women who assisted me, specifically Katie, Tina & Roxanne were a shining example of customer service. Even with credit card machine issues being dealt with, service was completed with a smile and in a timely manner. KUDOS!

Valvoline will spend all their time pushing add on services, but be careless with the work itself. Now Valvoline will use Carfax to mislead the customer about additional services the manufacturer does not recommend. This is blatantly a dirty sales tactic. I was shocked to see Valvoline staff were so reckless in their work; even my tires were dangerously over inflated. Next time Ill be using a vendor that pays attention to doing the job right.

Really disappointed with this place. Ive been going for several years now, I usually just get an oil change and sometimes little things here and there but the last few times Ive gone theyve pushed me to get a radiator fluid replacement. My car is old and a beater (almost 300k miles on it), I had a feeling it was burning it but they said it was cause its old fluid and it needs new fluid. So eventually I caved in to the pressure...then I brought my car to a mechanic, before he brought my car INTO THE BAY he said youre burning radiator fluid I can smell it. He checked it and it was burning itso it turns out I spent 120+ dollars that they pushed several times to me and I didnt need it. They just wanted the sale they werent thinking of MY best interest. The past times they brought it up and I said no because my car was old and almost at the end of its life they were clearly bothered I wouldnt buy it because they wanted the sale. I dont think I can ever go back to be honest. I just dont trust them or their knowledge of vehicles.For the record I loved this place before. I recommended it to family and friends because of the convenience of sitting in your car and how quick they were with the job

Quick Stop Oil ChangeI like the fact that I can stay in my car while they work on it. I love that you can go in anytime for fluid refills in between oil changes. Watch out for the upsell, they are always pushing more services on you..ie transmission flush, fuel injector cleaner, blah blah. Sometimes I just wanna say, change the blasted oil and shut up pls.
