Very modern, clean BJJ gym. Warm and welcoming people here. Tarsus the professor was engaging and clearly cares about his students. They have a great style in this gym, elegant logo designs, shirts etc. I’ll be training here again for sure.

Ive been training at Elementum for about 6 months now and I really enjoy the people, instructors and curriculum. Professor Tarsis has an amazing amount of knowledge and teaching ability which challenges you to become better every day. Ive trained and learned under with Tarsis for over 2 years. Him and his wife Martina are both incredible humans! Tarsis brings the highest quality of instruction and has created a very friendly and welcoming environment to learn Jiu-Jitsu. All experience levels are found here on the mats and there are folks that come from other gyms all the time. Additionally, weve had seminars from some of the highest caliber athletes within the sport. I cant recommend Elementum Jiu-Jitsu enough!!

I have trained with Elementum since day 1, but before that I trained with Tarsis at a different academy and let me tell you.. Tarsis is the man! His teaching style and his ability to teach both kids and adults is second to none. I would travel hours to train with Tarsis. Luckily they are located in the heart of winter park and is close to everything! If you are looking for an amazing workout, aside from training Brazilian jiu jitsu, you should also check out Martina’s class. Her classes are a great cardio and strength workout for all. As a small woman with no martial arts experience, I was nervous about starting BJJ. But training under Tarsis leadership, I felt safe, respected, and empowered to grow.
