Very relaxing and easily accessible spa. Antony was my massage therapist - he was very professional and relaxing. But more importantly, he gave one heck of a massage. Per my direction, he really focused on getting my knots out and did so with the perfect amount of pressure. Im someone who has been told I battle massages, and Antony somehow prevented this - pure skill. If I still lived in Orlando and not so far away from one of their spas, I would have signed up for a membership with the hopes that all of their therapists were as good as he. 100% recommend

Couldn’t relax During my last massage because Chris ( who was in the next room) was loud making phone calls trying to get people in and I heard every call during my massage. Mentioned it to the front desk on the way out and they just said they make a note not really acting like they cared. Then while trying to cancel my membership, I had to reach out to “corporate” (which still didn’t help) Because they will not send me the cancellation form via email to sign ( even tho I explained I’ve been working 15 hour days so I have no time to come in and sign it). I feel they are unprofessional and NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!! Avoid AVOID AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! Plenty more Hand and Stone locations in Florida to try BUT THIS ONE AVOID !!!

I really hate giving poor reviews but after giving this location a shot more than I should’ve I had to write this review. Today was the second time my dermal infusion was cancelled on me due to the tech not being available. Of course this was done when I was already there. This happened to me already due to the machine being broken and not being notified prior to my appointment only when I arrived. Seeing that both of my appointments where late in the day there was more than enough time to have given me the choice prior to making the drive over there. Every time there always seems to be an issue and has made me really think about cancelling my membership I’ve had for roughly 4-5 years. The only reason I keep it is to go to other locations because this one just continues to disappoint. Especially planning around a holiday weekend consideration of my schedule was not there.

I had an appointment with Ashley and she did some of the best deep tissue massage Ive ever had. The only downer with the place is that they are still victims to the covid mask craze, which definitely takes a lot of the enjoyment out of your massage. Hopefully that insanity will end soon. As for my massage and the staff, I definitely had a 5 star visit.

I was booked for my first prenatal appointment at 9:00am. I received a text to confirm my appointment that morning at 8:00am. I received a call at 8:50am from the receptionist stating that my therapist had called in sick and needed to cancel my appointment. I was in the parking lot. I asked if there were any other appointments for later that day, there was not. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and how the situation was handled

Unnecessary RoughnessOne of the worst massages of my life (no exaggeration). Hand and Stone? More like Elbow and Stone. My masseuse spent most of the session elbowing me instead of using her hands. I had filled out a pre-treatment questionnaire and she asked me what I wanted her to focus on. I told her my goal was relaxation and to focus on shoulders and lower back. Instead, she spent more time on my arms and legs. This is also the first time a masseuse has insisting on my arms dangling over the table instead of having them at my side. She also seemed more concerned with tucking me into the sheets like a mummy than my comfort. She asked once if the pressure was okay and that was that. Not only disappointing, but I feel more tension than I did before the massage.

Great location. Friendly service. The area lends itself for a walk around the shops before or after the massage. There are also plenty of resraurants in the area that are at walking distance from this spot.

Do not go here.I asked for a firm massage when I signed up. I’m a 6’4” male with dense muscles as I stated when I signed up. They gave me a very nice young lady who was less than half my size. I directed her to my pain points but she just couldn’t deliver.That isn’t the part that upset me, I firmly told them at the counter before I commit to anything I wanted to ask my wife about her experience. They grabbed my wife right after her session and convinced her to signup before she could talk tome, they knew we came in together and I was sitting outside in plan view of the front counter.Also they decided it would be professional to fire someone in the middle of a work day so there was a lady screaming curse words a she left the establishment.Best part my wife has now called this place more times than we would liked to count to get them to cancel her membership cause the person that signed her up said she can do it whenever. They refuse to cancel stating a manager has to do it and that it’s a requirement that your first payment goes through AFTER 30 DAYS before you can cancel.Do not go here.

Only issue I had recently was that the massage therapist I was promised to have was not there the day I had my appointment and I wasn’t notified of it. I got a facial for the first time! I was super hesitant and nervous about getting a facial. The staff were very nice and welcoming! Alicia did an AMAZING job and walked me through the whole process and told me everything that she was doing and made recommendations without being pushy. Very upset. Filled out my form online more than 24 hours before my appointment. I finished radiation less than a month ago so I understand if I need to be massaged by a special technician but you could have called me instead of making me drive there and making me believe I was going to receive the service. You don’t read the forms ahead? A phone call even an hour before my appointment would have been nice. Wasting my time. Apologies accepted, my time is not returned.

A friend of mine gave me one of her massages for a gift. I have never been to Hand and Stone before. I have had many massages and this one was by far the best and most beneficial . I let my therapist Devin know my concerns and goal from the visit and he was exceptional in delivering exactly what I was looking for. I left feeling better than I have ever felt after a massage. I highly recommend Devin. I am also now a member because of this incredible therapist. Please ask for Devin. You will not be disappointed.

Recently the management has changed, and not for the better.I recently had a very unpleasant and extremely unprofessional experience with their “new” manager, Mike Tillman. I won’t go into details regarding my experience with Mike Tillman because my attorney has advised that we keep our legal options open.The team at Hand & Stone at Winter Park Village is genuine, professional, and sincere in their desire to help anyone and everyone who walks into their location.Mike Tillman’s attitude (and actions) have been corporate, robotic, and extremely distant especially when it comes to customer service.How did such a GREAT TEAM get stuck with this individual?When you go into Hand & Stone at Winter Park Village please be sure to ask for anyone other than Mike Tillman to assist if you desire the exceptional experience Hand & Stone is well known for.Their front desk people are FANTASTIC! Their massage therapists (especially Samantha and Melissa) are healing goddesses.

Attention to detail needs to be improved. Scheduled a hot stone massage didnt receive that and sadly, the reason that was given didnt make much sense. The online scheduling alters the booking when the facility receives the booking. So, the platform the the this NATIONWIDE company utilizes alters the hot stone massages to a regular massage... that really peculiar.My massage therapist read my form and I stated that I wanted her to focus on my feet... she never paid any attention to my feet. It seems like she was new and wasnt fully comfortable with touching me, it didnt feel like a massage, it felt like she was just poking at my body.All in all, I have another appointment scheduled for next month... hopefully it is better than my first experience.If not, Ill be looking for another company to service my massage needs.

This is more a review of my massage therapist than of Hand and Stone; however, Id probably give 4 stars to the business anyway. I have been several times, but last time was the absolute best massage Ive had in my life. My therapist was Rose, and she was super professional and thorough. She recommended firm pressure, which I usually dont like. I used to love a deep massage when I was in my 20s and 30s, but I often find that they pry and dig too much, and it just causes pain. Anyway, she said to let her know if I wanted her to lighten up the pressure, but it was SO perfect. She tends to use very even pressure with firm flat hands (no digging down with the index finger to disperse knots. I was so relaxed. I also upgraded to include the foot treatment. That was very nice and included hot wraps on my feet. This was a great experience all the way around. They were on time, very professional, and the environment was very clean. Thank you

I definitely recommend this location.I would recommend that the reception staff be slightly nicer. I was helped by a female receptionist who was polite, but didn’t smile and she kind of looked upset.Either way the location is gorgeous and the massage and facial were amazing

Staff was amazing, office & rooms were beautiful. Location is kind of hectic with surrounding restaurants, parking is difficult but worth it for the massage. I received a prenatal massage which was wonderful except I wish more time would have been spent on my neck and back. They seemed timid to apply pressure. My fiance had a deep massage and loved it!

For a massage chain, fantastic. Counter help was a little flaky but place was clean and relaxing and overall a great experience. I can’t say enough about the quality of massage I received from Rose. I don’t know why she isn’t working at a 5 star spa...technique and skill was excellent, she was extremely professional and courteous, thoughtful and sensitive. The massage I received from her was a truly healing experience. You can tell she loves her work and that she cares about the quality of care and attention she gives ppl. She made the visit a 10 star experience. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Having a massage here improves the rest of my day. Piper is terrific. She always asks about pressure and comfort. In fact, the last three times I have fallen asleep during my massage. My cousin is a member and she gifted me one of her massages. I only had to pay a $10 transfer fee and a gratuity to the masseuse for a 50 minute massage. Esmeralda did a fantastic job! They offer many other typical day spa services as well.

Went here for my first ever massage and booked it online. Booked a hot stone massage but was given just a regular Swedish massage because the women said she “didn’t read the info” since she was running late. Also my massage started almost 15 mins late but still ended on the hour. Not the best experience but the women did a good job on the massage she decided to give me.

Sam was an AMAZING masseuse, and was able to find areas that needed work that I didn’t realize. Definitely going back! Renee has done an amazing job with my microdermabrasion over the last 5 months. Her product recommendation and treatments have been spot on.

Thomas is amazing! Ive come in the past two times with certain problem areas and each time Thomas has worked them out! I went in for an hour massage and it was finished in 39 minutes for no reason. The massage itself was a 6 out of 10 but when I checked out I told the man who checked me out. I said “I’m not sure if your hour slot massages are supposed to last 50 or 55 minutes but I’m either case mine was over in less than 40. He just shrugged and charged me full price. So odd!

I wasn’t wowed by my massage. Thank good ness I added the hot stones. The only good part. My therapist said she would just concentrate on my neck and upper back bc I’ve had some tightness there. Just lots of pressing, not much massaging. HeR hand had a tremor about it too. I won’t use them again.

Beyond horrible and unprofessional. Leaving someone half naked with the wrong sized robe in the hallway for all to see is not acceptable. This is after Cedric didnt even have the massage for a full hour. Michael the Assistant Manager needs to be fired immediately. Honestly I only went bc I had a gift card from Christmas! I am a member of spavia and I love it there! Compared to spavia I just didn’t like anything about it. I know they are trained professionals but it just wasn’t relaxing at all. No robe no welcome to H&S we went to the room and she goes so what is it that you want? Um like you’re supposed to know I paid for a massage! I could hear doors slamming and ppl in the hall way and it shouldn’t be like that. Thanks but no thanks I’ll be at spavia if you need me!

Received a 50 Min massage here as a gift before starting Grad school. Joseph was my masseuse, and he gave me the perfect relaxation massage. Being a bedside nurse plus weight lifting has given me a pretty rough back- so enough pressure without being too aggressive is key for me. Will definitely be going back to see him! :)

This location houses some of the rudest human beings you could ever meet, and unfortunately these people are called staff.Winter park is one of the most prestigious areas but this massage venue is better suited for the slums of Detroit. The staff has no class, courtesy and kindness to offer anyone.They also have no remorse for scamming clients out of appointment time. You will never get what you pay for. Upper management is no better. They are just the ringleaders of this circus.There is absolutely no customer service and winter park businesses should boycott them out as they are giving the area a bad name!Everyone I know who has given this location a try reports the same. The location in Dr Philips however is simply amazing!Lets get these crooks out of lovely winter park!

WINTER PARK LOCATION IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Nice amenities but the management and front desk staff service is seriously lacking. Phone is almost never answered and they rarely make setting up an appointment easy or accessible when they do. Numerous times I have tried to call this location that opens at 8 am but they simply do not answer before 9. They have also double charged me an additional 50 dollars on my package in order to transfer a massage to my immediate family member which I had already paid for. I called Winter Springs location and they said this was a strictly Winter Park policy. All in all, deeply enjoy massage but CANCELED with Hand and Stone and recommend you do as soon as you have the chance. With the type of service being offered here they might as well call it massage envy.

When I go to my hand and stone in West Palm they give me firm pressure without trying to up charge me an extra $15. This place told me they would only give me light pressure unless I paid extra I am not gonna be nickel and dimed. Extremely rude and Unprofessional staff. I am considering canceling my membership I have never been treated so disrespectfully at any establishment my entire life. Would give zero stars if I could. I left.

I always get the deep tissue massage, and I stick with the same therapist for each visit. The lobby, restrooms, and massage rooms are kept clean and neat. I wish the reward points came faster for those of us who have been subscribers for so long.

1st time going to a hand and stone last night. Truly disappointed. I paid for a hour massage and got 40 minutes!!! I feel like I got beat up. I told the guy 2 times he was to ruff and today I could barely get out of bed. So I gave 20 mins away for free and got beat up. Great way to spend my money and night. I wont be back... so sad because I heard great things about this place

Only negative thing Id say is that I was taken back a few mins after my scheduled appointment time, and even though it was supposed to be a 1 hour facial, it ended 52 minutes after the scheduled start time. And part of that 52 mins was the approx 5 mins she stepped out for me to put on the body wrap. So Id say the actual facial time was around 44 mins.
