I called Tim to schedule an appt for my son to get his hair braided on Friday. He gave me 2 names and numbers and told me to call them and see if they had availability. I called Shalonda to schedule an appt today at 3pm and she directed me to her website to schedule. On her booking site there was no open times for the date and time she verbally gave me. So I texted her and she stated that she would book the appt for me on her end. I sent her a text to confirm the appt at 10am and she never replied back. I later called that afternoon...no answer, so I called the main number again and spoke to Tim who was able to speak to Shalonda but he sounded as if I was bothering him and taking up his time. He said they are busy busy with clients/customer (as if I wasnt one). He told me she said 3:30pm and if I couldnt do that then I need to cancel. While on the phone with Tim Shalonda messaged me back 330 is best if you can do that. If the delivery and communication of the change of appts was better I may have taken the 3:30pm with no problem. But I felt as if I was inconveniencing them by trying to receive a service and if they were busy, busy she may not have started his hair til even later. I have not been to the salon to receive a service but was looking forward to it. I was actually referred by someone but this first impression couldve been better. 😔

I may have gotten lucky with timing, but I called for an appointment on Wednesday, had my consultation in Friday, and had my instant locs done on Monday. Tim was very accommodating throughout the process.Not only was he willing to work with my schedule, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable about locs. He taught me a bit about the different types of locking methods and the different types of hair. I learned a good deal about what to expect in the future with my locs and feel confident in my ability to maintain and grow healthy locs.Ill definitely be coming back to Tim for all of my dreadlock needs.

After calling to inquire abt a last minute braid style for my first day of work after relocating to Orlando, I spoke to Tim who put me in contact with Kay and the rest is history! Kays friendly, professional personality is unmatched, what a enjoyable first experience! I loved my braid style, nice, neat and she works quickly but braids ever so lightly so your scalp doesnt feel like its being pulled to pieces. I would like to personally recommend Kay to family, friends and anyone visiting Orlando in need of a cute quick braid style with extensions!!3 weeks later from my initial post I am editing my review to WARN future clients about my SECOND experience scheduling with Kay. I reach out to her directly via text on a Wed. for a extension braid service for Saturday. She instructed me to schedule on her site where it states a deposit of $44 is due at booking. After clicking pay now the site redirects you to paypal to pay the ENTIRE amount owed for service. I sent a screen shot of this to her and she agreed to see me the following day at 3p and agreed I could pay in cash. She text me the day of appt. Sat at 12:47p that she was cancelling my appt. because she had 3 other clients and she would text me by 5p that day to see what time she could to my hair Sunday!! She text Sunday morning she could see me at 2p. What an UNPROFESSIONAL! Down grading my rating from 5 star to 3 based off 2nd encounter.

Our Barber Tim was awesome was so sweet with my baby and patient in return made my little boy very calm during his first hair cut. This is a company that not only offers fantastic haircuts at competitive prices, it is one where they care for their customers. Tim makes sure you are taken care of and if you arent, he acts accordingly. This is now my go to barber and it should be yours too.Something to note, all the employees are contract and make their own hours. This may mean the posted hours sign may not always be abided by. But it usually is and if you call Tim, he will likely go over there himself or send someone by.

This is a great salon..the atmosphere is so relaxing..very clean and a courteous staff..i keep falling asleep because i felt at home..nice job

The people are wonderfully nice, but the lady named Monique who did my hair did not know what she was doing. I walked in and said i mainly wanted all the damaged hair gone and from their would tell her what style I desired even though I knew I was just gonna go with layers, which I told her. She then cut my hair and asked what I wanted I told her layers that I wanted at least 3 and starting from my chin. she then starting cutting my hair and then started blow drying it. She did not show me the finishing product nor did she show me the back of my hair at all. Thinking she knows what shes doing and not wanting to be rude, I kept quiet. she then said she was going to straighten my hair to fix some of the curls she made. I was ok with that. The finished product looked decent. I wasnt going to complain cause some previous hair salons have attempted at making my hair look like a mushroom, and anything was better than that. It then came to the payment. I was told it would cost 15 dollars when I called in. My bill was 55 dollars! I was shocked but i figured it was probably cause she blowdried and straightened it. I just wish I was forewarned before she did it that it would raise the price so high. I went home a little annoyed and went to the bathroom and examined my hair. I found out that a section on the left was actually longer than the rest of my hair. Infuriated I grabbed my hair scissors and snipped it to the best of my ability to make it the same length as the rest of my hair. I also split my hair to both sides and I really believe that the hair on my left is slightly longer than my right. I also started looking for any signs of layers. I only found pieces here and there that were a centimeter shorter than the rest of my hair. I could not find any other signs of layers whatsoever. Needless to say I will not be going back for another haircut.
