This place has new owners and it’s horrible. Been with them for years even bought my new heater (5k) and all pool supplies (prior owners). They used to take amazing care. Now if I have pool issues they make it clear not to call them unless it’s their day to clean my pool. Had to cancel my account. They are rude and nasty and took their payment one day prior to me closing the account and refused to give me a receipt or proof account is closed or refund.
Great people to do Buisness with.Only one thing hope they have record of Puschases that automatically save Coupons will make Customer come back.
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I used this company with no incident until they changed ownership the last year... the previous owner use to show up or return calls and did his best to help everyone in person... new owners do not even return calls and they replaced an expensive panel that cost almost a $10000 that I had recently replaced. They replaced it a few months ago I call them immediately to say it’s not working and they would not fix it but want to recharge me a third time even though it’s under warranty.They didn’t even try to fix anything just give you high quotes for anything you ask them to check. They are extremely unprofessional and not helpful. When I need them the most they would not help me.....
Purchased my pool supplies for 20 years there yet had a service call where they replaced an actuator that I purchased a year ago and when it didnt solve the problem, they stated I needed a new board for over $1000. I just bought one for under $500 a year ago so I bought another myself, took weeks around Xmas to get installed and that was not the problem. I spoke to them and asked for my old part back, they threw it away. I asked for them to come and check what really is wrong since the 2 things that cost me over $700 they stated were bad were not the issue, the answer they gave me I dont have time, call Hayward and have a volt meter ready .. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!
To make a long story short, the owner of the store came out to do some maintenance, bent open the electrical box cover and caulked it shut with blue pool caulk. They refuse to accept responsibility for the damage to the electrical box cover saying owner caulked it shut as a courtesy to us. Not a great way to do business.

If I could rate 10 stars I would! We’ve had a pool light out since purchasing our home 2 years ago. Our current pool man said he would have to drain the pool to see if the light just needed a bulb, or had a bigger issue. At the recommendation of a neighbor, I called Pinch A Penny Winter Garden. They sent someone out the very next day who not only said the pool did not need to be drained, but actually went underwater, held his breath, and made the repairs! Talk about service! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, good prices, and free water analysis.Weve purchased our basic pool chemicals from this Pinch A Penny branch for 2 years now and have always found them to be reasonably priced and friendly. Also bought a Barracuda pool cleaner and a Chlorine Generating system for our pool from this location (they installed the Chlorine Generator and weve had no problems!)... If you need stuff for your pool, or just want a place to shop around, check this place out!
Went to the store with pictures of the pentair housing I needed and a few days later it arrived. It was the wrong one no big deal. This time the Owner was there and he said oh no you have the 100 not the 75. Ok great order me that one. This was on Friday. They said it would be in the next day it wasnt and nobody called. I Called today, Sunday and now it will be in tomorrow. I also wanted to take advantage of the 15% off that runs through the weekend. Keep in mind both times I was in the store they told me I would get the discount. I mentioned this to the first person I spoke with today and she goes uh and puts another girl on the phone who says no because you arent ordering equipment?! Really what is a filter housing if not equipment?? No point arguing because there is pool supply on every corner why give these goofs my money. I would advise to shop elsewhere.

I made an appt with PAP for pool service. The clerk assured me I was within their territory. I then stopped in during the week to give directions - and again was assured they take care of pools in lake co close to the orange co border. I waited at the appt time only to get a call stating they do not come into my terriroty. U D A think they woulda known that on day 1 and day 2. How dingy. How ditzy this PAP must be. Maybe someone should donate a mapto them - u think ?
Prices are double what they should be, was asked to help carry salt to the car I agreed and was not helped, so why ask...
