I called on a Sunday for my non working air conditioner. I was connected to a live person who was an employee of Pro-Tech and not a call center. She was immediately able to schedule an appointment for the following day. Richard Cuesta was the technician. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He gave me some great advice and insight on air conditioners. I would definitely use Pro-Tech again.

I don’t write many reviews but I felt as if I needed to with this experience. I started off with not the highest opinion of this company because I feel as if their prices are on the higher end. That being said, their follow up and communication is 5 stars. Additionally, my experience with Dylan (my tech), was amazing which is hard to say about plumbing. His drive to do it right and make it worth choosing this company prompted me to give this review. Dylan took time to explain to me each step and what that meant for me and my home long term. Although I still feel their prices are higher than some of their competitors, Dylan and the dispatch team were exceptional and I would use them again.

Todays service consisted of a regular preventive maintenance checkup. As in previous visits, Nick performed a thorough evaluation of my A/C system. I feel comfortable with his professional skills and would recommend this companys services.

For years we used AppleAC for our AC service. Then one day during the summer, our AC quit working. It got to 91 degrees very quickly, and later than day over 70% humidity. It was horrible. We called AppleAC. They couldnt get anyone out here for four days. Also note that they had performed the yearly maintenance on our system just two months prior to it failing.I searched around and found Pro-Tech and gave them a call. They too initially said they were booked up for several days but asked to put me on hold. When they came back they said theyd get someone out in 24 hours and they did. The tech was friendly and polite and he quickly discovered the problem, which turned out to be a capacitor. A simple fix and he was done much to our delight and gratitude. Needless to say, we have our new AC & Plumbing company.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. My AC unit wasn’t kicking on so it was 82 degrees in my house in June, a tech was able to come out same day that I called and was very prompt to find the issue and repair it. Super reasonably priced, I would use this company again!

Back on July 6 I had my HVAC system replaced with a new Trane 5 ton unit. Since the install I have had ongoing issues and multiple technicians come out to try and get my unit working properly. Here I am on July 28 with still ongoing issues. The last 2 times I was supposed to have technicians out, 1 time they gave a 3 hrs window to arrive. No call or update. Called at the end of the window stating the tech was running behind. They finally showed up well outside the window they gave me at night. Today I was supposed to have another tech out. Given the 3 he window. No call and no show. I called at the end of the window again and said something happened with the call and no one was dispatched out and they couldn’t have anyone out. Like most people both my wife and I work and can’t have anyone out till Monday if they decide to show up. Pro-Tech was certainly not the cheapest but they stressed their detail to quality work and on call tech support 24/7. It sure sounded nice initially but what good is it if you keep having one tech after another after another look at the system say this is the problem and should be okay now. I have now wasted 4 evenings trying to get my AC finished with no avail. I hope I am an anomaly and others don’t suffer the same fate but to say this entire install has been horrible is an understatement.

Richard was awesome! He helped me to understand why my AC unit was malfunctioning. As well as gave great advice on things I can do on a regular basis (like flush out the drain with a little soap and warm water instead of vinegar or bleach). He was quick, efficient and answered all my questions (which was a lot). Two thumbs up.

I love that they keep with the times giving you reminders via text and phone. I Pay for their monthly package that includes 2 services per year and priority emergency service.

This was the best that my unit has ever been serviced. About 5 gallons of water removed from the drain pan in the attic. Then he cleaned the drainage line outside. This is service par excellent. Keep him and I want Velrick as you technician in six months.

We have used ProTech for both plumbing and AC needs. Today, Jean was exactly on time (even with our guard gate and hard to find access) and reviewed the work needed and then reviewed his plan to complete the work. Each step of the way he shared his findings and progress and photos to show before and after maintenance. Jean was very careful to use shoe coverings inside which I appreciated and took all health and safety precautions seriously while interacting and going over paperwork. Jean also backfilled and leveled one of our AC units that had been dug out by a visitor prior to us purchasing our house and for a reasonable charge.Both times we have used ProTech, they have provided great and timely work and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Jean from Pro-Tech came out to fix our air conditioning. He restored it to working order promptly and noticed an issue that would make trouble for us in the future, allowing us to make those repairs while the unit was still under warranty, saving us both potential cost and frustration.

The technician was very friendly but not overly so. He complied with all of my requests and respectfully listened to what I had to say. He seemed very knowledgeable and had professional equipment. He showed up on time wearing a mask and never removed the mask. I am very happy with his service and will continue to call Pro-Tech for all of my A/C needs.

Great service on AC unit provided by Nicholas Garcia. I received the service the same day I made the service call. Some other companies I called, I had to wait for a couple of weeks. Nicholas Garcia was able to come out and perform the necessary service on my AC Unit the very same day I called. Nicholas was able to educate me on what I should and should not do as a home owner when it comes to AC unit.

Pro-Tech is the place you want to call for A/C maintenance and repair. They have maintenance plans which I just did, I have always done in order to keep my A/C running ice cold. This is a very friendly company from when you call to when the tech is in your home. Their work is well documented digitally and our experiences with Hunter and Jean have been exceptional. They are both expert Air conditioning technicians and very respectful and polite. I highly recommend Pro-Tech for air conditioning. They do it right.

Great communication from start to finish!

**I’d recommend to stay away/at least make sure you get multiple quotes as they are not open about their cost structure, and will not itemize for you. Above all that, they are just really expensive for what you get**The company was called to diagnose an AC zone that was no longer blowing air and the temperature was already at 91 degrees. Initial call was great, fast answer and easy scheduling and I was clearly informed of the cost to have someone come out and diagnose..Technician (Akeem) showed up on time, and was very professional. He diagnosed an issue with the blower (motor, module, wheel) and a capacitor on the outside unit. And scheduled a fix for the next day. I had questions about the estimate of $1006, but they don’t seem to give out cost breakdowns. I figured I’d just call the company and get the info, assuming this was a normal/honest company, and this was an emergency where I couldn’t wait for another company to schedule me, so I accepted the estimate. That was a $109 charge, which I’m fine with, and pretty much aligns with industry standards.The next day, the Tech (Ogi) shows up— parts where shipped and arrived a little after he got here- and complete the work in about 1 hour and 25 minutes. The Tech, just like all representatives of the company thus far, was great and very friendly (I know these guys are just doing their job and don’t make the rules). After completion of the work, he collected my credit card information and, when I enquirer about an itemized invoice, stated that i would get the invoice via email shortly.When the invoice arrived, my initial hesitation and questions around the overall cost were confirmed and, honestly, magnified. The invoice has no cost breakdown and only list quantify for parts, and, most importantly, clearly stated that the parts are covered under warranty. At this point, I’m really scratching my head.We contact the company and, again, a very nice person named (Rick) head me out. The rep, unfortunately confirmed that they do not give out itemized breakdowns. He then got into a basic marketing run of how they guarantee the work for a year, there is a cost to process the warranty, there is a labor component, there was a shipping charge for the parts, and a “return fee”. So, at this point, I’m now annoyed that I didn’t just live another day in the heat and go with one of the more recommended companies in my community. How in the world does this work justify $1K?* There was a cost for processing the warranty, great, but how much can that be?* There is a cost for labor... sure, but it certainly isn’t +$700 per hour* There is a cost for processing the warrant... ok, but again, how much can that be?* There is a cost for shipping... again, understandable, but it arrived 2 hours after order, so it was local* This “return fee” really has me stumped as he admitted it is a cost to have the Tech come out to do the work. So, i get charged for the labor and i get charged to have him come out! I’ve had a lot of AC work done, over the years, and when you are having non maintenance work done, the labor normally covers them coming out. I already paid $109 the day before to have someone diagnose the problem, so it really feels like double dipping to meHow does that add up to $1006? Of course, I just get the marketing spiel again, and a “sorry, but we just dont’ provide those details.”At this point I realize that I’m not going to get further with this company. I’ll just factor it in as a lesson learned and not do business with them again. I hope this review helps anyone else who is thinking of using them for repairs. It does sound like they handle general maintenance fine, given those reviews. I would not use them for anything outside that. More insulting is that I finally took the time to call around and just ask for a cost estimate for this level of work/part replacement, and lets just say other companies were much lower. Competitors though, so take that for what it’s worth

Gerry is a fantastic professional. We had a somewhat complicated issue with a new Hybrid hot water heater and he stuck with it through multiple visits to make sure all was 100 percent. My sink was leaking, and I had used Pro-Tech for AC, so I called them for plumbing. Ricky was in the area and diagnosed the issue (cracked disposal--I have no idea how old this one was) and installed a new disposal. Excellent, friendly service and quality work. Highly recommended!

I called and had someone out to me in less than 24 hours and the problem was fixed in less than an hour!! Wasn’t expecting the cost, but my garbage disposal works again and I can go back to my daily routine!

I just had Jose Torrens from Pro-Tech repair my Trane air conditioning unit.It died on a Saturday, and I called Pro-Tech in the morning, and to my shock, they sent Jose to my home that afternoon. Jose is more like a surgeon than an AC technician. He was amazing, and not only repaired our unit, but cleared out clogged drain lines within the unit, and drainage lines that lead out of our home. Everything is working perfectly - and all done on the SAME DAY that I called. You cannot get better service than this.

We use protech for the comfort club maintenance on our air conditioning unit. Joel performs the service and he is excellent! From scheduling with the office team, to the service performed - they are top notch! We wouldn’t consider using anyone else to keep our air conditioning performing at its best.
