Amazing staff and excellent students for our boys to learn with. This place will give them something that can never be taken away. We have already seen marked improvements in focus and attitude. *Moms* my son picked up his room and did dishes on his own. Worth every single penny.

Our son has been a student at Tiger Kims Reynolda for 2+ years, and we have been consistently impressed by the professionalism, respect, and attention to our son as an individual that we receive. They communicate well, teach respect, self-control, and discipline, as well as Tae Kwon Do. The staff is respectful, professional and helpful without exception. We just love being part of the Tiger Kims family!

The instructors are great with both kids and adults, positive, and motivating. It is pure joy as a parent to see our son click with a practice in this way. The program offers a variety of flexible schedule options so that a session (by level, group, family, etc...) is usually available every day. Learning the culture on and off the mat has been a great way to practice adjusting behavior in different environments. They keep activities fresh with seasonal events. We love it!

Our family loves Tiger Kim’s. This is our son’s first experience with Taekwondo and it has exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love the instructors who show such joy in teaching even the youngest of kids. We have found the value of lessons goes much further than just learning forms, kicks and punches. Our child has learned self confidence, has taken the ideals of eye, mind, and body focus home and to school and has become a much more centered child. Our hope is that this will become a life long learning experience for our son, hopefully our younger son will follow in his older brother’s foot steps soon!

My fiancé and I have only been there a month but the simple act of having professionalism and a welcoming community makes it an experience to look forward to each week. It’s fun, challenging and great to do on your own or as a family. The staff is awesome as well! They are all knowledgeable, focused, patient, encouraging and fun!!🤗

My son has been taking classes for almost four years now. Tae Kwon Do has given him more confidence in himself.

A parent’s hope is that their child will find something that they can enjoy doing and possibly even learn a little something. Tiger Kim has provided this for Emerson and so much more. He’s not the biggest or most agile, but we have seen him grow leaps and bounds over the past two years through Tiger Kim. If you have a child that hasn’t found THAT activity, please give Tiger Kim a try. You will not be disappointed.

The school has been excellent in every sense of the word since we began approximately a month ago. The teachers each take time with the students to help them where they struggle. My daughter has improved with her stability and flexibility and focus, and it is great to see her enjoy practicing even at home. I feel this is something she will continue with, and will benefit from in many ways for years to come.

I love going to this Martial arts facility. I have started here when I was 4 years old but then I took a break from it but I came back and I’m even more better. Tiger Kim’s teaches discipline and self control to all ages. Yourself or your child will love Tiger Kim’s just as much as I do.

My son has learned so much from tiger Kim’s karate classes. They teach not only taekwondo but also self confidence skills as well as manners and respect. My son hasn’t been interested in any kind of sports but he loves learning karate and every day is different and exciting!

The teachers here are incredible. They take the time to explain expectations to the students, know them by their names almost instantly, and are professional. My son is excited for each class!

I truly enjoy every moment at Tiger Kims Taekwando. I started with my daughter about 6 months ago and it has been amazing. She has developed a lot more confidence, met new friends, and enjoys learning new moves and teaching me. My husband also joined with us and doing it as a family always gives us that quality time and something to talk about after a long day. I have also lelost 20 lbs in my 1st month and it was amazing because of their pushing me to to better and push myself harder I feel better about myself physically and mentally. I can not say enough good things about Tiger Kim’s TKD at Reynolda. We started TKD for our then 4 year old last year- many months before the pandemic- and our 4 year old loved it. They are professional and really give each child the individual attention they need to succeed. He thought it was not only fun but rewarding to work towards the goals of receiving his ‘tips’ and then a new belt. Then fast forward to the pandemic and we have been truly impressed. Tiger Kim’s worked to make sure children were able to continue their lessons on zoom and even implemented one on one booster classes so children weren’t falling behind- at no additional cost. Now that they are slowly opening back up, they’ve continued their professionalism and guarantee for children to succeed. They’ve gone above and beyond with safety protocols but still made it enjoyable for the children going back. As long as our son is into TKD, we’ll be at Tiger Kim’s. Thank you for working so hard to create a great environment for our children!

This is our 4th year attending Tiger Kim’s Taekwondo on Reynolda road and we have had a wonderful experience thus far. We started with the little tiger program after I saw an aftercare Tiger Kim’s van at my sons school and decided to inquire about the aftercare program and have the benefit of attending tkd classes too! My son was attending up to 5 days a week! All the instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. My older son has particularly taken to Mr. Reymond.My older son is very active and has been able to show amazing focus in class. He is currently a double black stripe and working towards his black belt.Since covid hit, this is the one activity we were able to continue despite lock downs. The school set up zoom classes and even offered “one on one” zoom slots. They tried their best to make the program engaging, while continuing to learn new form and advance skills. They offered additional free months and incurred a loss in revenue during lock downs and essentially were doing free zoom sessions!!! The school went above and beyond to try to keep students motivated and parents happy with the program.We have been so glad to be back in person. The school is taking amazing steps to keep the place clean and germ free! They sanitize between each class. Each child needs to preregistration for a class and has their own square that is appropriately social distanced and kids and instructors wear masks.I wasn’t planning to start my younger son ( almost 6) till things got a bit more back to normal, but he showed an interest and Tiger Kim’s offers amazing incentives to try for free with no obligation! My younger son started in January 2021 and is now a Yellow Belt!! He is excited about going and enjoys attending a tiger Kim’s tkd just like big brother.Thank you Tiger Kim’s Taekwondo for showing good role models with amazing instructors, providing kids an opportunity to learn confidence, self esteem and just be a safe place for my kids to go.We have been very pleased with the program and plan to continue!!!!

I’m very impressed with the quality of service from Tiger Kim’s on Reynolda. They do so many programs for families and friends. I never got a chance to take advantage of their parents night out because of COVID, but I’m sure it’s a huge perk. Speaking of COVID, the response and effort to keep kids engaged was very impressive.I don’t have anything negative to say about them or the instructors. Highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a Taekwondo studio.

I have been a member of Tiger Kim’s Taekwondo at Reynolda for over 8 years. My experience has been excellent every step of the way. My Taekwondo training at Tiger Kim’s has added a dimension to my personal and professional life, that I simply would have never expected. I’m more confident, present, open to new experiences and mentally and physically fit than ever before. The instructors at Tiger Kim’s teach you more than Taekwondo, and as phenomenal as they are at that, they also teach you how to be a black belt in life.

Tiger Kims has been a good experience for both of my kids. In addition to growing their Tae Kwon Do skills, the senior instructors have shown an interest in helping my kids be better people.Opportunities to help lead classes have been particularly good for my oldest, who is now a black belt. While those opportunities have diminished during COVID, I look forward to his getting to help lead again when the COVID protocols are no longer necessary.Tiger Kims really responded well to COVID. They quickly shifted to online classes, and those online classes worked very well. During the early days of lockdowns, Take Kwon Do was the only activity my kids had, as online classes kept going when their other sports shut down. When they opened up their studios, their protocols kept everyone safe and keeping the online classes going gave us the ability to keep going when my kids had to self-quarantine due to close contact with positive cases. During those self-quarantines, Take Kwon Do was the only physical activity they were able to continue.

We absolutely love Tiger Kim’s! My son is working to get his black belt, (he’s almost there) and then continue on with his training.The instructors and masters are phenomenal with everyone. During these trying times they have went above and beyond to keep everyone training and reaching their goals! I can’t say enough about how great this place is. It’s like our second home!

Wonderful, helpful, and friendly staff at the Reynolda branch. Students are spaced apart during class (each child has a section marked off and is encouraged to stay in their section for the duration of class). After each class, the room is mist sprayed with a disinfectant before the next class.

Tiger Kim’s Taekwondo cares about all their students. They will do everything they can to help you and always has you in consideration. The staff is very professional and dedicated to what they do ! My son was shy and had trouble in some social situations. This class has changed his world and now he’s so much more outgoing, making new friends, etc. I would highly recommend this if you want your child to build confidence, self esteem, and as a bonus great manners you should take a look at these classes.

Tell you what.Just call them and ask how much they charge. Youll learn their character quickly.Anyone who cant give you a straight, honest answer has NO BUSINESS teaching children (or anyone) this art of discipline, integrity and character.

Take kwon doe

This program is great for children, my two kids love all the instructors and staff. The lessons they are learning are invaluable. he instructors really are about the children and families.

At first you are overwhelmed at their offers. Once you enroll, everything is charged at an exuberant price. They even pressurize kids to join demo teams, which costs even more.Now the kicker, if you are in a contract and if your kid has lost interest or does not want to continue, you cannot get out of the contract unless you move away from them or their subsidiaries.Frankly speaking had a bad experience with their policies and prices.

Over priced. They over charged every little thing. They don’t care about your situation, they care only money (very heartless). This is the worst place I have been taking my kid for doing this. I am very regretful. They never tell you the price that they will over charge you. They never explain how much they will take money from you. After you sign the contract with them you can’t cancel even your kids don’t want to go anymore. They force you to pay money. I have to contract with them for three years, but after three years they still withdraw the money over $ 167.89 a month. If you don’t pay, they make bad credit and send to credit Breuer. I got the letter from credit Breuer before from them. I don’t want to get my bad credit because of this stupid thing, so I have to pay. You have to pay extra money for every little thing; such as bag, belt, uniform, knife (makes with sticks $50.00) more extra. Every texting you have to pay $50.00. For black belt $450.00. It took three years to get black belt and they took my money almost $10,000.00 for during this period. They said it free for the first months but they still charge me after three years ( even no more contract). They teach the kids to be respect, be mindful but they don’t follow the rules for themselves. The instructor name Raymer he is so discriminating, no respect.

Skills arent enforced, definetly just pushing kids through. Asked to sit in and watch a class. Youre kid assured black belt in 3years just show up and dish out money monthly which has to be withdrawn automatically from your account, you have to sign contract that they hold seriously and unless someone is dying they dont care. My sister jad 2 brain surgeries resulting in my child missing class they asked could anyone else help. My financial situation changed Jessica the manager told me multilple times plenty people find a way that arent rich. Your monthly rate will be 3 digits. Testing wgich is every month the slows to every other will be $50. Every trivial thing in between is another stack of cash. Ive definetly discouraged several from this. Also more students than adults so if youre child isnt a quick visual self learner they may struggle. Pros my daughter is physically active and gets to scream for 45 minutes. I think its a cute program. But significantly over priced and i dont feel if she were to truly compete against others she may not be fuly prepared due to their no kid left behind theme. Even knowing of my financial mentioning still tried to convince me to sign another higher contract. The core to every buisness is money but lie to me make me think you care an believe in what you do. Last thing hardly time for other events time varies everyday early as 3 late as 8. There are cheaper more reasonable activities. I only jave one and got sucked into her puppy dog eyes. Black belt testing is an additional 450. These are all things they wont tell you upfront. Proceed with caution.

Great instructors and curriculum

MC-DOJOA McDojo is a school that teaches a watered-down and impractical form of martial arts in the name of making money. They place the importance of profit well ahead of teaching anything realistic or credible in terms of self-defense, and are dangerous is the aspect that they send unprepared & often over confident students into a world thinking they can fight when in actuality they have no real fighting skills. Often McDojos teach a lot of bullshido, which is a term used to define deception, fraud, and lies in terms of martial arts.There used to be a time where a black belt meant something, back in days where it took years upon years of intense training, pain, and sacrifice. Those who wore a black belt around their waist had earned it, and they knew how to fight. Those days are gone though, and honestly, having a black belt anymore is useless. Who doesnt have one? With McDojos cranking out thousands of black belts to students whove trained maybe one or two years, there is no standard anymore. We have hundreds of thousands of black belts under 12, many even under 6, and a society that believes they earned them. We have 12 year old 3rd degree black belt instructors, wheelchair bound people with black belts, morbidly obese people with black belts, and we have 30 year old 9th degree grand masters. We have people who have never been hit or actually hit another person wearing a black belt, and people who think forms and one-steps are crucial to learning how to fight. All of these people are essentially ballet dancers with gis on: theyve taken the martial arts and turned it into a dance. To accommodate everyone and anyone willing to pay for their black belt, theyve lowered the standards so that even a 6 year old could pass the test. Theyve ruined any honor of earning a black belt forever, yet these students who unknowingly wear the rank they have not truly earned yet dont know that they dont have any real fighting skills. They dont know that all theyve done essentially is memorize forms, punch the air, and then pay for their belts month after month, and they wont know until either its too late or until they seek out the truth.Martial Artist 18 yrs and counting.
