Excellent service! I recently moved to this area but I was never satisfied with the services that I tried before this. I am glad that found this finally. I am greatly impressed with Sheree’s work. It’s not just her work but also the way she treated me, her professionalism etc., The over-all experience was nothing short of amazing! I am excited to introduce this place to my wife and daughter. Excellent hair ✂️salon and barber shop in Thruway Shopping Center. They have affordable and high-end cuts with friendly barbers and stylists. They do shampoo, scalp massage, and more. Been going here on and off for the past few years and each time its always a pleasant experience. The establishment is clean and the stylists that Ive had are wonderful. This most recent visit I had my hair cut and beard trimmed by Sheree. She was polite, communicative, and did an amazing job overall. Highly recommended.

Had my haircut, beard trimmed, and the MVP by Sherree. Very polite. Good conversation. Every now and then she would stop and ask me if the length was good or if I wanted it a bit shorter. When doing the MVP she made sure I was comfortable with the temperature of the towel and the water, and the pressure in which she was massaging during the wash. Seemed like she knew exactly what she was doing to make the experience the best possible. 10/10 recommended

Ever since I have moved to the Winston Salem area I have come to this location. They never cease to amaze with their timeliness and effectiveness. A huge shoutout to the team, especially Sheree who cut my hair most recently. She was friendly, quick, and knew exactly what to do. I left very happy!

In the area on a rotation and needed a fresh cut. Booked an appointment with the first available at Sports Clips and got Sheree as my stylist. She was very fun to talk to and did a fantastic job with a cut and beard trim. Sheree made the experience a great one and I would definitely come back again. If you need a haircut/beard trim go to this place and you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been taking my son to Sport Clips for almost two years now and every time but one they did a great job. Most recently, Sheree cut his hair. It looks great and he said she had the best personality.

As soon as I walked in, a very bubbly woman greeted me and helped me sign in. Within two minutes, Sheree called me back for my haircut. It was such a good cut that got rid of All my problem areas. She talked to me about my natural hair and provided lots of tips for future use. While there, the staff was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable which was a nice surprise as I made a clutch decision to come in after work. They made me feel like I made the right decision in choosing this place and I will be back.

When went to pay with a debit card it asked me if I wanted to leave a tip, the smallest option amount they gave was 20%, and you feel shamed into tipping, but I didnt see it my responsibility to pay your employees. Im a trucker Im not rich and nobody tips me a damn cent after every load I do. I will never support Sports Clips again.

So I’m African American and use to paying $35 for just a haircut….I paid $31 including tip and got a shampoo and wash and haircut. An my haircut is legit and nice!!! Great job done by Sheree professional and polite!!!

I have been coming here for a while now and have to say I never leave unsatisfied with my hair cut, I have very straight thin hair but they understand what I like and how I want it. On one day I had arrived just when they are about to close but they still made time to give me a haircut with me having a very important event the next day. So Im grateful for that.

TLDR; 10/10 will most definitely go back and 10/10 will most definitely have Erika cut my hair again. Cannot recommend her enough.The longer version (and this might be my first Google review and Im not known for brevity, so):I make some effort to look like a functioning member of society. And Ive been fortunate to have a decent head of hair that doesnt require much, really. So Ive never expected much from a haircut. To me, its hair. It has to be cut. And most times I get a decent cut. But sometimes Ive received terrible, terrible haircuts. And thats partly why Ive visited numerous barbers/stylists throughout my life, ranging from boutique barber shops to salons to old-school barber shops to chains like Sports Clips. And before today, I thought I HAD visited a Sports Clips previously. But after settling in, it became obvious that I never have.That said, as long as I live here, Im not going anywhere other than Sports Clips at Thruway to get my hair cut from Erika.Ive never been more pleased with a haircut. And Erika (my stylist) was meticulous. I dont think Ive ever had anyone spend so much time making sure it was cut exactly right. In fact, while I was sitting there I realized that it may have been the longest haircut in my life. Not that it took long. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time (even with the MVP treatment.) But Erika was methodical and devoted to making sure it was a perfect cut. And it showed when she was finished. Super, super happy with the way it looks.But the MVP treatment? When I got in, I was told Id be getting that free since it was my first time. Had no idea what it was and didnt really think much about it other than it probably being some gimmicky sales thing.Its not. The MVP treatment is fantastic. After your haircut, you get a hot steamed face towel, shampoo head massage, AND shoulder massage. And its ridiculously cheap. But like I said, being a first time customer, it was entirely free for me today.So overall, my experience today changed my perception of how good getting a haircut can really be. In the parlance of our times, it really do be like that sometimes.Go to Sports Clips at Thruway. Request Erika. You wont be disappointed.

Due to an accident, both of my feet are in casts, and I am temporarily wheelchair bound. My husband and my boys go to Sports Clips regularly. I have been going every weekend for the past month to just get a hair wash and blow dry. Everyone at Sports Clips is so exceptionally nice. Kathy has been taking such good care of me each weekend. She is professional, kind, caring and just plain awesome! I may be going back to see her even when I’m back up and walking again! Thank you Kathy!!

Went to Sport Clips at Thruway. It was a great environment. Rhonda made me feel welcome and listened to me when I explained what kind of cut I wanted. My cut turned out great and was spot on how I described wanting my hair cut. Friendly stylist who listens, clean store, sports on tv, what more could u ask for. Ive made Rhonda my new stylist from now on. I recommend everybody go see her.
