Here is an electronics repair gem hidden off Stratford Road, in Stratford Court! These days it is not easy to find a technician: when a public library DVD stuck in a rarely used tv/dvd player combo... [angie.com was blasting me with their home entertainment center set-up ads... annoying]. - The team members of the Triad Electronics are highly professional, efficient, speedy and friendly - such ordinary service, but these days it is outstanding, legendary and classic customer support!!! I recommend Triad Electronics technicians as many people as I can. I am certain no job is too small or too big for them. Many thanks for saving this DVD! So, why would a consumer who DIDNT use this companys services write a 5-star review?Its a long story, but the bottom line is I called them in desperation after losing cooling in our LG French Door refrigerator (Dont ever buy one!) on the advice of LG.Problem is we live in Durham, a good hour and a half away, and the local LG repair (Triangle Appliance Repair) recommended by LG for authorized repair no longer works with LG.Chris at Triad Electronics took her time researching qualified repair folks near me, even though she would not be doing the work.She could not have been nicer or more helpful.Honestly, if you live in the Triad, this would be the first company to call for appliance repair.To close the circle, we are waiting for an actual LG technician to come out IN A WEEK to make the repair...hopefully.Thanks, Chris, for jumping in to help.They say character is revealed by the acts you do when nobody is looking.I say business character is revealed when you help someone in need even when there is no payback or payoff, just because it is the right thing to do.Great attitude!

After searching our area for a reputable electronics repair service for our vintage stereo equipment, we finally found this company. We took our 45 year old Marantz receiver and turntable and Teac cassette player/recorder to Triad Electronics. They not only repaired them, but cleaned them up and made them look almost new again. Our equipment means a lot to us and these people took great care in making sure the repairs were right. Alex is really good at his work and we will definitely use Triad again!

Took a computer there hoping they could replace the HDMI port on the graphics card. Instead of just doing the repair and charging me for it, they took the time to test it and found out that the computer was fine, but my monitor was bad, saving me about $20 in repair costs. 5 stars for trustworthiness. If I ever have another issue, its going to these guys! The last of their kind

I live on the other side of the state in the mountains of Western NC. Their satellite tech from Forest City, Jerry, was the one to come to my house to repair my TV. Repair was still under warranty, so no cost was associated.I found Jerry to be very polite and professional. He was in, replaced parts and was out the door in roughly 30 minutes leaving me with a working TV again.I would highly recommend giving them a call.

I called to ask if they could repair my BEATS headphones (they are $200 headphones, so I was hoping to fix them and not toss them). The phone rep was very polite, but told me no, they dont fix headphones there. He then very kindly pointed me in the direction of where I could get them taken care of. I really appreciated it!

Despite the negative reviews that Triad Electronics had received from other raters, I decided to give the company a try. I have a 1980s-vintage BIC turntable that seemed to have both an electrical problem and a mechanical one. The TT just wouldnt work at all. So I dropped it off at Triad Electronics on Monday, and held my breath. On Friday, the company called and said the machine was ready to be picked up. So I did. It had needed to be cleaned, lubricated and aligned. No parts were needed. Total cost was $100. The technician was Alex, and he was great. The machine now works wonderfully. I had a 5-star experience.

Had a warranty repair to be performed, was called and told that it was better to order the part without coming out to actually see what was wrong because it would be quicker. After a 24 DAY WAIT the technician comes out only to discover that WOW they ordered the wrong part. Now I still have a broken washing machine and that they will do everything in their power to expedite getting it fixed. oH and they are truly sorry for the inconvenience, this NEVER happens. Yeah right!

Fast service, affordable repairs, honest estimates. Have taken several items in for repair. $40 diagnostic which is subtracted from bill if you repair. Have used them to repair two different onkyo AV receivers been very satisfied both times. I hope you dont need them but if you find yourself with some electronics that just dont perform any longer give Triad Electronics a call or just stop by open until 530 weekdays and noon on Saturday.

Horrible, I took my TV for repair because it wasnt something big, then they told me that there was nothing they could do, so they asked me if I wanted to recycle it, used like no its fine Ill take it somewhere else, oh and they also kept my deposit even though they didnt fix anything, so I took it to this other guy and he called me saying that the TV could not be repaired because it was missing slot of parts!, they stole those parts! Because I took it for falling repairing, and had all its peaces inside and I had it for a long time and it worked just because my little cousin dropped it and it was blurry but unread complete, DON GO THERE, THEY JUST STEALING YOUR MONEY, ITS BETTER TO BUY A NEW TV.

They were selected by my washing machine warranty company to do repairs. Their dispatcher assured me that they need not come out that they could order the parts to perform the repair although they never inspected it to see what was wrong with it. I was assured that if they had to come out to diagnose it that would take even longer to get it fixed. Reluctantly I did what they asked. After waiting 19 days for the parts and an additional 5 days for them to actually come out (yes 24 total) Surprise! they ordered the wrong part! Now Ill have to wait until the tech who is in the field the rest of the day (Friday) to order the correct part Monday morning.

I have a Klipsch subwoofer that the amplifier had went out in. I emailed this company about it and they said they should be able to repair it. When I dropped off the subwoofer they were very nice and mentioned they were a little backed up and itd take a few weeks before Id hear back. They notified my later on about the cost for the repair and after I approved it, it only took a few additional days. They were very pleasant when I picked it up and even provided me with the pieces that they replaced on the ampilifer to show what all they had to do. A very good experience, I have no complaints whatsoever. I will gladly use this place for any other repairs I need. Awesome people!

Let me start by saying this is my first time ever using this company. I called and describe my problem to lady she told me what I needed to do and three days later I sent them my device needed to be repaired. In less than a week repair was completed, they informed me of what the repair consisted of,. I completed payment for the repair and receive my device in the mail the next day.

TV repaired twice over the years by these guys to correct a purple band across my tv that kept reoccurring despite the repairs. It cost me around 200 bucks each time, and the last time they said they couldnt adjust it anymore they would have to replace the board.The problem reoccurred a third time, and I was through paying them so I researched it via YouTube and found out to correct the problem was as simple as turning a screw till the band disappeared. It took less than 10 mins, and it could be adjusted despite them lying to me and telling me I would need a new board. Dishonest look elsewhere for TV repairs.

LIARS. A technician came to my home to install a kit on my washing machine due to a product recall. The technician damaged the lid to the point the washing machine cannot be used and claimed that it had already been damaged for some time. We had just used the washing machine the previous day and there were numerous broken plastic pieces in the washing tub. The company was uncooperative when I contacted them.This absolutely did happen and another company had to come back to fix the lousy job. A lot of wasted time due to incompetence.

I recently purchased a LG Smart TV from Best Buy. It developed a problem with the power supply board causing the TV to periodically shut off and restart by-itself. Using the LG website, Triad Electronics was given as the authorized servicer for my area. I received a call from them the next day and after explaining the problem, they quickly knew what the problem was but had to order the part. Expecting it would likely be a week or so before the part came in, I was surprised to get a call-back in 2 days that it had arrived and they wanted to come out the next day. Service time was set up and the tech arrived ahead of schedule. Had the TV repaired and reprogrammed in about a half hour. Very friendly and customer service oriented. In todays world where good customer service is rare, this was an excellent repair experience.

I have a T.V. that I got from Aarons here in Greensboro, and it needed to be repaired. Aarons uses Triad Electronics, and I made an appointment with this company last week for Monday (9/9/2013) between 9:30am and 11:00am. I got a call at 8:30am on Monday(they left a message) letting me know the part would not be in, and they would call me when it was. I called back later (the same day they left a message) and was told someone would call me back around 3pm (the time I requested since I had class). I received no call back! I just called about 20 minutes ago (today is 9/11/2013) to check on the part, and spoke with the manager (and according to him the highest authority at Triad Electronics), Mr. George Schultz (I am not sure about the spelling of the last name), and I can honestly say I have never dealt with someone so rude! I was getting frustrated because I was not being given a definite amount of time it would take for the part to be in, and of course with this frustration came an over use of my favorite filler word like. Mr. Shultz proceeded to mock me, and wouldnt let me finish any sentence so to him it apparently sounded like I was just repeating myself. I guess in a sense I was, because I had to start the same sentence 5 or 6 times since he would repeatedly interrupt me saying we dont have the part, and we can contact you when we do. The mocking consisted of him emphasizing my use of the word like with explanations he would give. For example, when he was explaining that the part for the T.V was not in he said: “we like, don’t have the part so like, we can’t like do like anything about it.” I dont think Ive ever been more infuriated in my life! I finally got to ask the question I had tried to ask the entire conversation, which was HOW LONG DOES IT TYPICALLY TAKE FOR A PART TO COME IN?! He said anywhere from 5 to 7 days. I am not sure how this can be since the appointment was made last week, but my issue is honestly not with the lateness of the part because that I can understand, it was the absolute disregard of common decency displayed by the highest authority at Triad Electronics. I called Aarons, and the manager there (as always) was great he explained that the work they do is great, but he apologized for the rudeness of the companys highest authority. Im complaining here because I feel like there is no other option to correct Mr. Shultz behavior, since he is the highest authority at Triad Electronics, and since they are contracted through Aarons I have no other option for the T.V repair without having to pay out of pocket for it. I really wish Aaron’s would drop this company, and contract with someone else.

Terrible experience attempting to fix a tempur pedic bed, as theyre the assigned service provider in my area. The wireless box wasnt connecting to the remote. Our tech swapped the wireless box but to no avail, then claimed it was an actuator issue. A week later he returned to change the actuators and that didnt work, so he blamed it on the system as a whole. A week after that he returned to replace everything, but the system still doesnt work. He said they would replace the entire bed to fix the issue, but then marked the work as complete on the tempur pedic service order and bailed, not telling us that wed have to coordinate directly with tempur pedic for a warranty claim. I found out over a week later when I emailed them asking for an update on the service order for replacement. Fortunately were not paying for the failed service since the bed is under warranty. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
