Im so happy I found this salon.I have fine and thin hair, and I had some breakage from over a year of not getting a haircut through the pandemic. It takes a knowledgable stylist to be able to give me a cut that gives my hair some volume and holds a style for more than 10 minutes. Allison was wonderful! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and she told me what she thought would achieve what I was looking for, given the current state of my hair. She did a beautiful job and I love my hair! I havent loved my hair in 2 year. I have found a new stylist!!!! Thank you!!!

I came here after having my hair overprocessed by someone at another salon and it was chopped so uneven and so short that my repair options were limited. Peyton has been working on my hair and advising me on what steps to take to reach my end goal. It isnt all about the money for her and she actually remembered me and what happened to my hair and its history when I came back a second time. This made me feel like someone actually cares and paid attention to me which made me feel so much more comfortable. My hair isnt where I want it to be but my confidence is restored and Im confident Peyton will get me to where I want to be in time with the integrity of my hair in mind. I would 100% recommend. I have felt so comfortable here after I was basically reeling inside with patchy hair. The girls here made me feel welcome and didnt shame for coming with jacked up hair.

Ciera did an amazing job at cutting my hair. Usually when I get layers I have to explain to the stylist that my fine hair will look “choppy” but she had this awesome technique that basically created invisible layers which was perfect for my hair texture. Looking forward to getting my hair colored from her and my future trim.

Wonderful place and people. Allison, my stylist, was fantastic and is very talented. Listened to what I wanted and created a great vision for my hair. Kept me informed on what she was doing to my hair, which I greatly appreciated, and the end result was absolutely stunning!

Planning a covid wedding has been incredibly straining. Covid regulations make every detail harder to accomplish, if they can each be done at all.I can’t hire a licensed make up artist because of covid, I have to have a non licensed person, and I certainly can’t go to a salon to do it because of the exact same covid regulations. Last night, within the week of my wedding, this establishment knowingly took my make up artist from me on the day of my wedding, having had several weeks to work out their own schedule. Prior to last night, they had absolutely nothing to do with my wedding, because legally - I cannot hire they’re licensed artists. So, after my FIRST make up artist cancelled for a vacation, I found a new one a month before.I am utterly flabbergasted and so confused by this move on their part. I’m a teacher that consistently gives to this community, and engages with downtown often - I am so shocked and hurt. Our wedding got turned upside when the pandemic hit, I don’t understand these businesses that treat people poorly, knowing the hoops we are jumping through. You could have any other employee come in that day, but you knowingly did this the week of. You had an absentee manager when I called to try to understand why on earth your business waited until the week of our wedding to pull something like this. In fact, even though I called at 10 am and could hear bustling in the background, when I asked to speak to someone your receptionist said “No one is here.” That lie aside (they open at 9 am), Asha, the manager, never called me back. In the phone call with the receptionist, it became quite clear that they either are not aware of covid regulations or do not care - as she was trying to offer me make up services, when Kelektiv LEGALLY CANNOT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE. She oddly went as far to tell me that a manager may not be in at all, after many odd pauses. To pass someone off as hostile for pointing out that an establishment inserted themselves in an event that they legally cannot do, so therefore no one THEY KNOW may do it, and pointing out false information (as I had to inform their own employee selling me makeup services that they can’t do it), is absurd. I do not accept cowardly excuses, as I left my name and my number to called back, to which I received crickets.If you don’t want a bad review, you should not involve yourselves when your employees have an opportunity to thrive during a very hard time.I will never understand the greed of people when we are all in a situation of needing to be there for one another. The ethics behind this is mind-boggling to me. I will not recommend this establishment, as far as I’m concerned, they do not have respect or care for the community they reside in. I highly recommend checking out Lox salon, instead.

I made an appointment with Seth and it was the best hairstyling experience Ive had to date, and Ive been getting my hair colored for 12 years now :)Listened to all of my hair needs, was an absolute doll to chat with and get to know, and my hair turned out gorgeous. Was definitely pampered during my visit.Would 101% recommend booking with Seth.

I was extremely happy with my haircut. Cutting short hair properly is a learned skill and hard to find in this area. Kyle is extremely experienced in cutting short hair for women and I could not be more pleased. Highly recommend Kyle and the salon.

From the time you walk in everyone knows your name. The salon has always been clean somehow they have stepped it up a notch now sanitizing the stations in between visits. If you are looking for a place with a top Notch staff and services look no farther. Kyle is an amazing barber who specializes in beards.

This salon has only the most professional and talented staff! I have had great experiences each time I have gone. I have never been disappointed with a cut or color! They are also being very safe and following CDC guidelines!

I love this place! You feel like family when you walk through the door because everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Haley does a FANTASTIC job on my hair every single time. I did some self sabotaging during quarantine by doing my own hair and she was able to actually fix it with her little magic fingers. I always leave feeling like a million bucks!!!

Salon Keletiv and Devin specifically were great! Devin was so sweet and did a great job. She eliminated all my worries associated with getting highlights and I love my hair (no brassy tones, no streaks etc.) They also did a great job dealing with COVID restrictions. If you’re considering it just go.

Got my hair cut from long to pixie by Kyle and I LOVED every second of it. He is super knowledgeable and cut my hair exactly as shown on the pictures. He definitely knows his stuff!!! And I will never go anywhere else again!!!

I’ve been going to Ciera for a few years now and she is great. She always does such a perfect job with my color and cut. I would highly recommend her services and the salon. All the staff from the front desk to the stylists to the assistants are all so friendly.

Kyle is awesome for mens haircuts! Highly recommend him if you havent used him. Takes appointments which is much better than waiting an hour or two in a barber shop. Costs a little more than a walk in barber but I dont have time to wait for hours to get a haircut... time is money...

If youre looking for the best hair stylist, please go see Haley!!! I alternate between highlighting and balayage, and she is fantastic; she knows my hair, takes her time and has the best personality!

Took my child here 2 months ago and got a relaxer which cost 48 dollars. Took her again today and they charged me 100 for the same exact product. The result is her hair doesnt even appear different at all. Not only is this place expensive the product must be garbage🤷‍♀️

Salon Kelektiv is GORGEOUS and the best salon Ive ever been to. Its so welcoming and everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. You can tell how much they all enjoy working with one another, which is awesome to experience as a client. I followed my stylist, Allison, from the last salon she worked at and I couldnt imagine going to anyone else locally.

First time here. Haircut was fine, style not my favorite. Changed it as soon as I left. On top of everything, I requested an entry level stylist and was given a master, doubling my cost without expecting it. Not returning.

I’ve tried many of the salons in Winchester, Va, and so I am confident in saying that Salon Kelektiv is by far the best the area has to offer. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. Kisha does a gorgeous balayage on my hair that is worth every penny! If you’re looking for a great color/cut, give this salon a try. You won’t regret it.

Salon kelektiv is amazing! The workers always have smiles on their faces and look happy to do what they do best! The environment is all around a very nice place. My first experience there I saw girls coming around asking the stylists if they need help with any mixing or just simply helping do someone’s blow out. Team work makes the dream work! I’m especially thankful for Allison, which I’ve followed from the previous salon. Every time I tell her what I want done she perfects it! I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone in the Winchester area.

I found Salon Kelektive through Instagram (spotted a few stylists) and made an appointment. I’ve lived in the area for 2 years now and I got my hair done when I first moved here and I was not impressed with the price and the end result. Coming to Salon Kelektive and walking out LOVING my hair makes me feel much more at home knowing I now have a go to for my hair and a stylist I can trust who knows how to work with my hair. The Salon has such Portland vibes and everyone was entertaining! They’ve made a repeat customer out of me and there are a few ladies from Instagram who have already asked who did my hair and what salon do they work at.

Best in Winchester hands down. The salon is beautiful and my hair always looks great! Kisha is amazing, highly recommended.

Never use their online booking system. Booked an appointment with Kisha online 8 days in advance. Showed up on time. Was told Kisha does not do mens haircuts. Nowhere on their website is this stated and the online booking allowed me to book an appointment. The excuse was the online scheduling does not work that way. Then DO NOT have online scheduling. Took time off to go here. This cost me time and money. In all fairness they did offer me an appointment later in the day, but with a lower level stylist - not why i wanted to to come see them. I wanted the top level. And the excuse for the online system not working to separate mens and womens haircuts, that is one thing and should warrant getting a new system. But my name is only used for men. Would it be that hard to look ahead and manually see that Kisha had a man on her schedule. I booked 8 days in advance, there was plenty of time to catch this mistake. That is called common sense and service. Stop doing online scheduling until it works or start manually checking all your appointments.

I followed my stylist Haley from her previous job to Salon Kelekiv. I love the atmosphere of this salon and all the friendly faces within. It truly feels like be pampered. I always come away with my hair looking and feeling so incredibly healthy, even after bleach! I drive an hour just to go here to get my hair done and I wouldnt have it any other way! This salon has some of the most incrediblely talented stylists/makeup artists I have ever seen. I would definitely recommend trying out this salon, you wont regret it!
