They saved my bacon. The dealership said I needed repairs costing $3,000 to pass inspection. The guys at Tire Outfitters did the job for one-tenth of that price. They were even $100 below their own estimate. The guys didnt wear ties and all have clean nails, but they were gentlemen to me. Good service and honesty trumps glitz every time..

Had a flat early on a Saturday morning and day with a full schedule. Managed to get air in the tire and get my truck to Tire Outfitters. They plugged the tire and rotated the tires quickly and at a very good price. I bought my last pair of tires here and will continue to do so.

Let me start by saying I will NEVER bring another vehicle in there for inspection or anything else for that matter !!!!! Fortunately Ive had a male family member take this exact vehicle in 2 years previously and was passed (along with my other vehicles passed) This year Ive taken in 3 vehicles and not a ONE without a bunch of B.S supposedly needing to be done . The vehicle I took in friday had only 9 miles from previous year inspection and was failed for something that had passed for 2 years previously ? And was followed out to parking lot and continued to be called everything but a liar ! True it needs a bit of front brake work but not to the tune of 559.76 bucks worth, and only 48.00 bucks of that being labor. REALLY ?? Must be using gold brake pads because estimate for pads 150.00 . Sad that as a female cant take a vehicle in without being taken advantage of :(

This place was awesome. On a trip out of town and had a nail in the tire on our way home. Called to see if they were available (called other places and they said we had to schedule an appointment) and they said we could come in anytime. We got there in 10 minutes and they were able to see us right away.Not only were they expedient, the techs Paul and Mike were very friendly and professional. They knew their stuff. What took me 30 mins to do to put a spare on, they did it in less than 5 mins. Now I know why they have all the stars in their reviews and agree wholeheartedly.Thanks for helping out couple of out of town travelers!

All 4 tires were mounted and balanced, and are definitely truly balanced, in less then 30 minutes. Talk about impressive. I had a lot of help with Ed through email who ended up recommending a more cost-effective but significantly better/more aggressive tire than the other three I was looking at. When I walked in to order them on my way home right before close they were still more than happy to help me place the order and answer my questions. They made my life even easier when I walked in an hour before close the next day to pay everything and drop the car off overnight and they told me they still had time to get it done that same day and they had me in and out in less than thirty minutes. Their prices on tires were actually cheaper than quotes I got from other places in the area as well. Fair prices and honest work. Ill definitely be back for anything I cant do myself.

I have used Tire Outfitters for years for tires and other repairs. They do good work at reasonable prices, and they are very honest. They have saved me money many times by telling me when I didnt need something I asked for. Basically, they wont charge you for work you dont need.

When I called about state inspection I was welcomed and informed and scheduled right away. The technicians and employees were helpful, took my car right back and finished in record time! They were busy and took care of several other customers in a very timely and friendly manner. If I need work for my car I will certainly come here first!

Honesty you wont find anywhere else. I failed inspection and was told the belt in one of my tires were broke. I found Tire Outfitters from a google search and Ed was great in helping me choose a comparable tire that would work with the other 3 since they were only a little over a year old. My son took the vehicle in the next day but called me shortly after to say the tech could not find anything wrong with the existing tire. He went so far as to call the inspection station to tell them as much. The inspection station honored his expertise and said to bring the car in and they would pass it. I was very grateful for the honesty of the tech who could have easily made a sale. I have 3 vehicles and you can be sure I will be taking my car there for tires going forward!

They explained the process of the front end alignment with the high-tech equipment that makes it spot on. The price was more than reasonable and the experience was easy and actually enjoyable due to discussing some tire related issues with the staff and another customer.They even have a variety of magazines to keep any customer happy.

They always call me before they do anything that might cost me extra money, they always take care of me do the little things, and their rates are more than fair which keeps me from working on my own vehicle which is worth a couple of stars on its own. Its hard to find a shop that you want to continue to do business with these days, but these guys are my go-to shop.

If you need a great Auto shop in Winchester... I suggest Tire Outfitters, please take time to read my story... I had my truck inspected at Nissan and they Failed my inspection for a whole slew of issues; I knew the transmission mount was torn and that I may need new front brakes... Nissan came up with almost $4000 worth of problems that Needed to be fixed in order to pass inspection. I took my truck over to Ed at Tire Outfitters and his shop was straight with me about what exactly was wrong and needed to be fixed and what needed to be done to pass inspection... my total after parts and labor came to $1200. They also were able to do the work in a single day and have my truck back to me the next. They are great people with awesome customer service and true integrity. You wont find service this good at many other places.

Was told it would cost 157 dollars to replace 4 spark plugs. Advanced Auto Parts had the OE spark plug at a lower cost than theyre quoted 9.75 a piece and it took me less than 30 minutes to change them myself when they wanted to charge for 1.25 hours of labor. Then, when I alerted them I would just do it myself, I was told it would be 44 dollars just for them to run the codes and diagnose it which took a total of 15 minutes. Codes that any auto parts store will give you for free. My parents always went here so I thought I would go with the same. Make sure to call around first and get an estimate from other companies, regardless of their rating on Google.

I called them about inspections and they fit me into their schedule immediately. I got there and they took my keys and let me keep my car there while they worked on it. They called me when it was ready, and when I informed them I couldnt pick my car up immediately they were super friendly about it and let me pick it up when I could!

Went here for a state inspection. They waaaay overtightened the wheel lugs and destroyed the key for the locking lugs in the process. In addition, when my inspection was complete, they informed me--without explanation--that I needed a new lug nut. Turns out they broke one when they were smoking them down as tight as possible.The people here were nice enough, but if they dont understand the concept of applying proper (and safe) torque according to specs, then I cant trust them to do anything to my vehicle.

In my opinion, a car service shop with honest people isnt easy to find! I wish I had heard about Tire Outfitters a long time ago; I would have saved a lot of money and been spared much grief. There are some service shops out there that definitely want to get as much money as they can from you. This shop isnt one of them. They provided service to my car and my wifes car without trying to talk me into having more done. I got a good deal on tires (best prices I could find) and very quick service as well. I certainly recommend this shop and plan on having them take care of any future service.

Ive been going here for the care of my vehicles since 2003. I have had nothing but excellent and honest service from them. I ventured away once and immediately ended up going back there to continue having them take care of my vehicles because there is no other car care place equivalent of honesty and quality of service.

I bought tires online and had them mounted at Tire Outfitters for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got the impression by their attitude my business wasnt valued since they didnt get the mark up like they would have if they sold me tires. I also was the only one in the waiting area who had to pull my vehicle in and out of the bay, which is not a big deal but part of the subtle disdain. I did not have to do that at Tire Distributors.After they finished, one of the tire techs told me all four tires had a wobble since they were off brand tires (Westlake SL369) but one was particularly bad and he had to put on 5 oz of weight just to get it to balance. He said I would still feel it in the seat while driving. And I could always send the tires back...hm. I did notice the vibration while driving and since these tires had good reviews, I took the Jeep to Tire Distributors a few days later for a second opinion as I wondered if my rim might be bent. Turns out, the wheel was out of balance and the tire just needed to be rotated 180 degrees on the rim to stop the wobble. I watched with my own eyes before and after. It also needed less than half of the wheel weights that were originally put on. Im so glad I did some further investigation and solved the tire problem even though I paid professionals to do it and they couldnt, or didnt. God help them if they created the wobble on purpose to upsell me. Total cost for all four tires bought online and delivered $386, installation $101, and second opinion $11. Dont allow yourself be taken advantage of.

Took my car in for rear brakes, it was done in a reasonable time, price was reasonable, definitely would return, highly recommend.

I have been screwed over by this establishment and the purchase of tires TWICE. The first time they put the wrong sized tire on and this last time they replaced the wrong tire even though their spiffy diagram showed in two different places which tire should be replaced. When I pointed out their mistake they acted like they were doing ME a favor by correcting it.
