Carli is the absolute BEST! We live out of state, about three hours from our home in NC. When we knew for sure we were ready to sell, we actually wanted to use a local realtor, because small-town Whiteville, NC is over run with homes for sell, as people are leaving the place in droves. We wanted someone familiar with the area to sell our house. Apparently, the agents in the area are busy selling houses somewhere else, because we could never even get them to return our calls to come and meet with us about selling. (Coincidentally, many of them took clients through to tour the home once we had it up for sell).We have a friend in our current home state of SC that we asked to give us a name. He sent us Carli. Best possible decision we could have made! I was skeptical about using a “non-local” to sell our home, but she is absolutely phenomenal! She was very honest about the market in that area from the beginning and was also patient with us. Carli answered our questions completely. We were not left in the dark about anything, and she was very kind when we did have what most might consider dumb questions.We had an offer within about 10 days of putting the house on the market, and it was a full price, cash offer. Her marketing is part of what makes things like that happen! We were amazed at what having her as an agent afforded us. Our home was promoted in a very tech-savvy, and professional way.Since COVID had started to rear it’s ugly head, that only complicated things during the selling process, but we never knew it. She never complained or even expressed any frustration. I don’t know how she holds it together!The main reason we think so much of her is because during the selling process, there were a couple of issues discovered during inspections. At the EXACT same time, my husband was diagnosed with cancer which was requiring emergency care and treatment. She was so compassionate with us about the situation, and took over seeing that the necessary repairs were done well and on time. It took a real load off of us!We cannot express just how much we appreciate her, her kindness, her patience, and her compassion for us throughout this entire process. She even had it set up that we did not have to be at the closing, so that we could focus on getting my husband better. So... Lets talk about Carli Williams and what she did for us. We were selling a 4100 sq ft 1880s Greek revival home in a charming (but tiny) town. Needless to say, this house wasnt your typical listing. We had it listed w/ another agency and only had ONE showing for 8 months. (P.S. That showing happened on the first day and we hadnt even signed our contract yet, the prospective buyer saw the sign out front of the house.). So we fired that horrible agent and I searched for someone else.Carli was a referral from someone outside of our area so I gave her a call.Mind you the house is over an hour from her location, but she showed up at the house and met me with her homework about the area and comps ready to go. (Something else the previous agent didnt do. She listed it at the price I suggested using only one remotely close home in the area as a comp. Hint: I have no idea what I am doing in this area of expertise and had zero guidance from previous realtor.) Carli went over everything with me, we agreed on a price and we signed the contract. Then, she went to work on selling the house. Understanding this house needed more than just a few photos slapped up on the MLS, she needed a more aggressive listing. The listing had 61 photos, floor plans w/ dimensions, drone photos, an amazing description and most importantly a 3D virtual walk-thru of the house. The prospective buyers came from miles away. The listing alone garnered over a dozen showings and an open house that had over 10 interested parties.Within four months of the new listing we had an interested buyer who made an offer and we just closed on it.Carli is thorough, professional, and most importantly successful at what she does.Anyone who has Carli as their realtor should consider themselves lucky.P.S. She handles really annoying high maintenance sellers SUPER well.
