Please please please disregard the negative reviews. Honestly, they scream entitlement. There are rules, honor them. Rita is amazing! I didn’t read reviews before using her service (I usually do). I was in a bind and simply called for assistance since It was my first time sending a package that way. I was confused about a few things, Rita told me to come in so we could get it taken care of. I did and I’ve been going to her ever since! She took time to explain to me exactly what I needed and shared information I’d need in the future as a small business owner. That was extremely helpful! Moving forward, Rita noticed me always carrying my daughter with me (I stay home with her), along with my packages that needed to be sent. She insisted I call her when I’m outside so she could come out and grab the packages from me instead of having to take my daughter in and out of her car seat. I cannot express how grateful I am for her kindness. If you’ve ever had to wake a sleeping baby that JUST fell asleep, and REALLY needed that nap then you completely understand why her offer means so much. I no longer go to the post office, ever. Also, my husband dropped off a few items for me before and called me immediately saying “wow, she’s a breath of fresh air! Who needs a post office?” thanks Rita!

I would hand deliver before using her service. Rita is well known in the city of Wilmington for being crazy and getting into physical altercations with customers. Just read the comments shes not a sane person. Please help yourself and take your business elsewhere.

I received great assistance and a lot of patience from the owner. We were able to notarize and then also get my document shipped in a timely manner.

Ive never been treated with so much disrespect from a human being as Rita treated me. I was a returning customer and over a small misunderstanding that was easily fixable more than a week before when my package was going to arrive I was insulted, cursed out and hung up on. I attempted to speak to her in person and smooth things out like adults, but that quickly turned into another aggressive conversation directed at me. She even called me again after the entire ordeal to insult me more. Wild. Theres a similar business in Trolley Square that will happily take your business and treat you with respect. -Jerry

I googled this business earlier this morning to see the store hours, then seen how low the reviews were so I was curious to read them. I was very shocked by the reviews. I came here once in January for a ups drop off, she was nothing but polite even gave my toddler a book. Today I went back for a fedex drop off and again nothing but polite. I do not have a membership with this company but I can’t imagine she’ll be rude for no reason to people who work with her on a regular basis. Just adding my 2 cents.

IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! Rita Carnevale is always professional and friendly. She goes above and beyond to give the best service possible. After using her services for the last several years I now consider Rita a friend because of her sunny personality.

I love going to the Neighborhood Mailbox, every time I go I always receive great service and conversation and the prices are reasonable too. I’m so glad my daughter introduced me to this establishment. She has some office supplies, stationary, greeting cards, books, get copies made, faxing, even does passport photos, & etc.

Provided you meet all the ladies demands you should be OK.Read the comments listen to people when they tell you this lady is neurotic, rude, mean, makes unfounded accusations, and is overall not someone I will ever want to deal with.In fairness she told me about how long packages could be there and I didnt meet her demands but the way she dealt with the situation she is just a miserable human.I moved my business to My Mailbox store in Wilmington I could not be happy.- MICHAEL GOLDMAN!!!

The owner is extremely rude. She always asked me to pick up my package right after it was delivered. Cant even wait until the very next morning. She sent me wrong package on a Friday evening, and i informed her as soon as i found it out later the same day. She urged me to return it right away. I told her I could not be back to town until the next Monday. She was super mad, and kept calling and emailing me. Come on, ppl dont all live next to you, and we all have important staff to do. Its not my fault to get wrong package you handed to me. You kept blaming me and never even apologize for not sending me my package i really needed. Two days later, when i returned the wrong package to Rita, she refused to give me my package, and yelled at me and ask me to leave and stopped my service without refunding me any fees. What a good customer service! Curious when the business will be closed. lol

Been going to Rita for years and never, ever had an issue. Just dropped off a package and it took less than 30 seconds. She has always been extremely nice to me and my family. Love her service!!

**Do Not Use These Services** Rita was incredibly rude and nasty from the start. She was unclear about requirements, and then acted like she was doing me a favor to give her business. I really couldnt believe it, I dont know how she is in business. There are too many other competitive mail services in Delaware to entertain this kind of behavior. I repeat, DO NOT USE!Her response is a lie. I said hold for 72 hours. She is legit, unhinged. Be careful people....

I am writing to complain of the poor service I received from your company. I am most annoyed that I wasted a morning (and half a days vacation) waiting for Rita to show up. My impression of The Neighborhood Mailbox has been tarnished. The owner is mean and rude. I would never do business with this company ever again. The bad review are true, its HER business her Rules, but be aware, she is super Rude. She offers no customer service or any courtesy. im here because she is so crazy and stubborn that she threat me to, by saying that if i was to leave a bad review on her social media she would do the same to my business. i used her service business she never used my business, im just a customer who has a business. Review are for customer to express how well the business cared and treated the customer, i have used here service for the past 14 month with any issues, and then she turned into a crazy person drove nuts with over 19 emails over a package. attached is a screen shot of her intimidating me. Pure craziness.

Amazing customer service. I brought my 4 year old son with me and she gave him a free book. She was polite, courteous, and quick.

I was not satisfied with the customer service. The older lady that assisted me was very rude, unprofessional, and has poor communication skills.

Do not go to this lady she had messed up several times we had went there to get something noterized for a insurance company now we just got a phone saying it went to the wrong place 6 months later which was extremley important we know it fell on her coz we tracked down where it was sent to befor she had sent mail to the wrong adress where it was sapposed to go to landlord insted it went to wrong office good to have some thing noterized but dont trust her to send ur mail to i guess im not a customer ether like she ses about all thr bad reveiws unprofessional

I have never met such a rude nasty person in my life. The woman working their was leaving a message for someone on the phone that was so highly inappropriate and condescending I could not imagine speaking to anyone (even an enemy) so inhumanly. Wonder if she has some children and puppies to go after too.
