These guys are the worst. I have had mail showing on the Informed Delivery app that Im not even receiving. A lot of it is very important. I recommend getting a P.O box. They claim no responsibility because they said someone could have taken it from my mailbox. If you have a p.o box, it never leaves the post office so if it goes missing, they will be 100% responsible.
If you are in need of anything related to applying or renewing your USA passport, stay as far away from this location as possible. The elderly Caucasian man processing the applications is as clueless as possible. We applied to renew my minor son passport only to receive a letter from the passport center that everything basically was done incorrectly by him. This letter was received 14 weeks later!The fees he told us were wrong, he never signed that we appeared in front of him, he asked to submit the original birth certificate when it was not necessary. We only found this out after wasting 14 weeks only to go to another place and start the process all over. The man is who did this is not only unprofessional but completely incompetent. Shameful that he’s in that crucial position to help the public.

The post office in Wilmington North Carolina or just God awful I have spent numerous days besides today on the phone trying to get somebody to answer the phone at the front Street Post office well that hasnt worked also called oleander drive they dont answer the phone finally got a hold of somebody at Lennon drive who couldnt help me because they cant see the records of my mail being on hold at the front Street office I have a broken foot thats in the cast and now I have to walk up to the post office to find out whats going on with my mail I can I think thats totally inappropriate

This location is the sorriest post office in Wilmington! They were supposed to deliver a certified letter to my house three days ago but still haven’t received it. Then after repeated calls someone finally answered the phone and claimed they were checking on status and never came back; I waited thirty minutes before hanging up. When I called consumer affairs they tried calling and she still hadn’t came back to phone, now it’s a hour. They sent a pop up email to tell them to hang up phone and yet when you call this line she still hasn’t hung it up. Just trifling!!!! Now if I was to go down there and act a fool they would say that I’m wrong. They need to fire every last person at this location and start over with ones who professionals or just close this location down permanently. Even the supervisors are trifling because they lie to you on phone then do exactly nothing. I can’t use profanity but I wished they didn’t receive their mail until they had satisfied and delivered all the customers mail correctly. I bet you would see some changes then. Such a poor excuse for a business much less the postal service.
Ordered a passport from this location never received it. Tried to called sat on phone for an hour listen to them pick up the phone then press the button to have it keep holding. So now have no idea where my passport is and I am told by all other post offices to call the Post office I ordered it from. Its a vicious cycle!!!!!! I also looked online and the website said I never filed for a new passport so of thats true them my old passport and all the money I payed for it to be done has just vanished into thin air.
I had a 2 day delivery from Amazon arrive a day late because the carrier noted on the account that there was no access to the front door due to security gate or some other issue preventing access. This is ridiculous I live in a carriage house with direct access to the sidewalk. There was a crew cutting branches 2 houses away, not blocking my building at all and even so, I live on an intersection so my home can be accessed by two different streets that it sits on. I think the note was at best a mistake but I suspect it was just laziness. Second try an important package was stolen because it was left at my door on a busy street without a knock or ring to alert me it was there.

Called this place multiple times. I have called 8am as well as noon. The phone just rings and rings as if there is no one there to answer! This Post Office need new employees. There is no reason The phone should constantly ring and tell me all circuits are busy every time I call! The only reason I gave this place a star is because it wouldnt let me score it a zero!! Everyone that works here should be fired! At least the people working in the front by the phones!

Gotta love how a certain USPS driver downtown flagrantly ignores legal parking regulations and has no concern for public safety? (check the photos) Why park in the middle of a busy street — thereby forcing oncoming traffic across a double yellow line — when the City of Wilmington has carved out safe & free commercial parking spaces postal workers can use?This woman was like IDGAF. I would love to give them 0 stars....but it wasn’t an option. We looked online for their passport hours before making the trip over to get those done. When we arrived the sign said appointment only. Apparently they decided to close early because they said the guy had been there since 3:30 and had a headache. I get people get sick, but when your website says no appointment needed and I drag my 8 month old across town, I expect someone to help me. Especially when I am there several hours befor you are supposed to close
This branch has ongoing issues with both home mail delivery and processing of business reply mail. Business reply is not processed daily, it depends on if the one person assigned to handle it is at work on a particular day - if not, there is no back up person assigned to process it. Mail forwarding service is hit and miss. Several staff members and supervisors are rude. Trying to call this branch is near impossible - the phone often goes unanswered. Despite having made multiple complaints in recent years, the service at this branch appears to be getting worse instead of better.
This place has terrible service. I just went to drop a prepaid package off at the desk and there were 11 people in line and one guy at a window going as slow as a snail. Really? So why does the Post Office spend millions to advertise how great they are and then have this for service?
There seems to be a Sunday Amazon fulfillment problem. I would advise against ordering from Amazon Prime on Friday. There is no second day guarantee, at least from my experience. That is one of the reasons I pay for a prime membership. Twice now I have a delivery attempt notice via Amazon notification and by USPS tracking. I was home both times and there were no attempts or a sicker on the front door as they stated. They need to either deliver on Sunday per the agreement with Amazon or just not attempt to deliver at all.
Ive lived in many states. Wilmington NC postal service is a crying shame. They cant even answer a phone call. Mail isnt being delivered in the middle of the week. For a city that is supposed to be booming in growth, it sure feels like a small hick town in the middle of nowhere that no one knows of. Postal workers in Wilmington NC truly are pathetic.
This service is horrible. I dont receive my mail on time, hell half the time i dont receive any mail at all. I can never get anyone on the local phone i have to call tge 1-800 number and wait 30-1 hr to speak with a human and not a recording . And Im always getting someone elses mail. I put mail out to be delivered and the mail petson would put it in my mailbox as if they delivered it to me and it clearly is out going mail . HORRIBLE SERVICE!!
Stacy the postal inspector was rude and was not following usps protocol.Stop being rude or we can do this the hard way. Ill just throw away the boxes. Give it to the cops and you wont see it againThen get to the post office and she says we got to deal with these situations..this is 4th time. Its your job!!! Wow she didnt follow any usps protocol.

Went to get a passport, in and out in about 20 minutes. Fast and friendly service.
The place was a little slow but employees were nice.
Waited an hour for passport window to open. Apparently the gentleman works in the back prior to the window opening. Maybe they should change the posted hours, or something t9 resolve this. The woman at the other window was Very nice and apologetic for this.
