Great selection. Great service. Helping out the small businesses is something I prefer plus great location unlike the bigger box stores that are just out of the way for myself and company work for as quick and efficient service is what our customers expect so stay close to them and we both happy

We had a hardware store here in New Castle but they closed after 30+ years. Now this store is awesome. Aisles and aisles nicely stocked well organized I love it.the big box stores not so much. The staff, the awesome young lady that helped me very professional and polite. My new hardware store. The distance is worth the ride.

Everyone there at the hardware store knows their departments very well and they are very informative and tell you about what youre buying. Its not like Lowes or Home Depot these people spend time with you and explain things about paints or anything else you buy they even make keys there!

This location keeps the feel of an old-school hardware store thoroughly in the modern age. Racks of fasteners, small tools, and almost everything you need from home gardening to light mechanical maintenance of lawn equipment. Staff is friendly and fast, able to be courteous while handling large crowds.

True Value in Prices Corner Wilmington is a gem. They always have awesome service, including the younger employees working there. I would rather give them my business and pay a little more than go to a big box store.

Google maps has apparently automatically changed my settings and it interferes with everywhere I go even when I dont put something in the GPS to ask for directions, it knows where Im at and its intruding as hell. I have to find a way to turn it off. I did not mean mean to leave a bad review for True ValueThese guys at this hardware store are incredible, they have everything, they are right near my house, theyre friendly as can be, theres really nothing that they could do to improve this place, theyve got it all going on. You need anything you go there if they dont have it they can probably tell you where to find it but Ive never had that happen (Im a busy guy) but theyre that kind of people that I bet you they could tell you where to go find it if they didnt have it. They are just that good!!

Prices are reasonable and the staff is very helpful. When you need an oddball item that the big box stores dont have you can usually find it here. A bonus is that they have a really good selection of hot sauces - go figure.

These people are great. Knowledgeable, patient, and ready and willing to help.

STAFF DO NOT WEAR MASKS. Mask was not fully covering the MANAGER’S face. When confronted, the manager was very rude and claimed we should “stay home if we’re that afraid”. Contacted the owner of this store, and he defended her. Saying everyone was at a breaking point with the masks and claiming people were being rude to the associates for not wearing masks. It just seems that would be avoided if they would wear them in the first place. This store clearly doesn’t care too much about their customers or the healthcare workers who have to take care of the people they get sick, considering they’re willing to expose them to this virus. Notice how they have a mandatory mask policy on their front door, yet don’t care when their employees don’t follow it. If the manager and the owner of the store don’t care about this rule, how do you expect the rest of your employees to follow it? Very unprofessional, disorganized, and selfish store. I will be contacting the CDC and will not be returning to this store. You can get your own family sick, but when you start putting the public in danger, especially when we walk into your store trusting it’s a clean environment, you’re crossing the line.Response: I find it very interesting that Jason had nothing besides excuses for their employees not only speaking to your customers rudely, but putting them at risk for contracting this virus. People’s families are dying and your manager has the audacity to treat it like a game. “If you’re that afraid, you should stay home” were the exact words that came from her mouth. You can absolutely claim you care for your customers, but how can you say you care for them when you’re allowing your employees to expose them to this virus and let them bring it home to their families? A lot of us have elderly and high risk family members and cannot afford to get them sick. I’ll be more than happy to take my business to Home Depot, where they actually do wear masks and don’t have young, rude, and arrogant teenagers working as a manager to the store.

Small store with just about everything you could need! I can barely hammer in a nail - let alone figure out what i need for a small repair or project. There is never a shortage of knowledgeable staff to assist. I prefer this store over a big box retailer any day!

They must be killing it! as they sure know how to turn away customers! I bought 2 identical items there today, went back to return them as the were the wrong size,(2 tires for a lawn mower). one was in a package the other wasnt but that was how I bought it. I went to return both and had the receipt. Manager young lady gave me attitude refused to return the item even with the receipt and purchased the same day, I asked to speak to her manager, she said she was the manager, I asked who her manager was she just walked away. Finally after I made it very clear I was determined to have this resolved one way or another, she told the cashier to return the item and told me never to come back to the store. Seriously this is how you treat a customer?BTW your store is only 2 miles from me so you have to wonder how many times I been to the store over the past say 10+ years to pick up items, I get told never to come back, over a $10.99 return, WOW wonder how HD or Lowes would have handled the same situation?Ms Veasey, I appreciate you responding to my posting, I understand a business can not take back everything sold, but I had a receipt for the purchase. The biggest issue I had was being told not to come back to the store. Again, I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my comments.

My first experience was very positive. I placed a bulk order online of sawdust logs as ship-to-store. The order was ready within the 8 business day estimate (given the holidays, they were fast). The staff was extremely friendly and even helped me load the logs into my car. The store was small, but clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this location to others.

I hope the managers read these reviews. I come to this store quite frequently because you have everything that I need. Your level of service is beyond expectations. I must say that one specific young man named Michael always stands out to me. He is a very respectful young man who offers to carry items out to my vehicle for me and I am a veteran and he always makes a point to thank me for my service to our country. Wonderful customer service. Needed some keys made and Bryan did an excellent job. He was friendly, personable all while getting the job done. He made sure we had everything we needed and that each key worked correctly.

The absolutely the best store Ive shopped at. They continue to amaze me with the stock they have and the knowledge of the staff. They seem to carry everything. The prices are competitive with home depot and better than Lowes. They even load your car if you need help. Again a fantastic store.

Almost always find what I come for, and if I need help with making a choice, they always (or at least almost always) have someone who has deep knowledge about the products available to choose from, and the differences between them, and reasons I might want to consider for my choice. Sometimes I need something for a particular purpose in something I decided to make, and the suggest things that fit my need and purpose.

Needed to do repairs on my daughters bathroom sink drain. Took the EXISTING drain parts into the store, spent over 20 minutes with a sales person as he put together the parts I needed, but they ended up being the wrong size. Went to the orange monster, spent 10 minutes picking out the parts myself, and they fit.Sorry guys.

When it when it comes to getting the job done and knowing what it actually takes nobody is a big box store is going to give you the personal attention and have the professional know-how that the people of the family owned and operated True Value in Prices Corner does. They have a very friendly staff is extremely informative and eager to help in my opinion Id rather pay a couple cents more and support a local family owned small business then some big box chain any day of the week to do something favor check out these guys True Value

This place is very organized and they have a lot more than I expect a hardware store this size to have. You will always get more help here than a big box store. The employees here know their stuff. Wish there were more like this one.

Was having a problem that home depot couldnt help with so i called a plumbing supply store. They couldnt help but recommended true value.Called them and talked to Steve. He was very knowledgeable and kind, even told me what aisle the part was on and said someone would help when i arrived. Appreciate that!
