This was my first appointment with Salon Beyond Basics and everything about my appointment was perfect! The ladies at the front desk were extremely polite and professional. My appointment was with Christiano who I now call my personal hair genius! He is amazing with color, highlights and haircuts. He took the time to sit down with me and get a clear picture of what I was looking for and I was not disappointed. He made me feel and look incredible and I received so many compliments after leaving the salon. I will definitely be back!

I am writing on behalf of Christopher. I have been with him for over a year and could not be more satisfied. Immediately I knew Chris was confident and not intimidated by the amount of hair I have. I have very long hair and he has always listened to the wants I have for my hair. He has always been a perfectionist and made me feel as though the amount of hair I have is never an inconvenience. If ever I have taken Chriss advice on a change it is due to the trust and professionalism he displays. He cares deeply about how his clients feel when they leave his chair and I can assure you, you will feel amazing because that is what he is. I am so thankful to have found a stylist who truly loves what he does. He takes pride in everything he does and that is PRICELESS!!

Kendall knows his color and cutting skills! I have never received the service or results like I received the other day. Customer Service from the front desk to the assistants was amazing. Everyone was so nice!!! And you could tell it was a happy place to work because they were all helping one another. As a first time client, I was so comfortable there. The smiles, hugs, and cheerfulness was simply contagious. It definitely was not like the salon I had been going to, no attitude. This salon is my new home for all my hair needs. Oh, they gave me a tour of the new Wig Boutique that they recently opened. Good people here, good people!!! Love my new salon and my new stylist. And, I have never received so many compliments on my hair especially from my husband! Beyond Basics it is!!!

I had an amazing experience with Emily today. We did a cut, color and style. She took her time and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted and it was all done in a timely manner. She was so sweet and down to earth! The salon is so nice! I will definitely be a retuning customer.

This was by far the best salon experience that I have ever had. I was visiting my daughter whos in school there; I live on Hatteras Island. I was killing time and just found the number on the net. When I called, the receptionist was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I told her what I wanted, and she told me who was the best fit for me. I found the salon, and I was wowed by the salon. It looked like something off of a reality show; it looked like Tabathas salon! The salon was very neat and clean. All of the staff was wearing black; looked nice. The staff was very friendly, yet professional. They spoke to me or smiled as they passed. They chatted briefly with each other in passing, but pleasant. The music was soft and relaxing. Laural was my stylist. She greeted me with a smile and we talked about what I wanted. She knew exactly what I wanted. She massaged my scalp before she washed my hair. There was a foot stool at the chair when she washed my hair. When I sat and waited for the perm to set, Laural made me some tea. She even made it cold for me and brought it to me on a saucer. I felt like royalty! She was so pleasant. I experienced a devastating loss last year and in a panic, I cut all my hair off. She took the time to work with me and get just the right look that I was looking for. She even offered complimentary bang trim and a touch up if I needed it. I live 5 hours away, otherwise, I would definitely go back. Thank you so much to Laural and to the Spa for a perfect salon experience.

VICTOR is the best stylist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has been my stylist for over a year and as long as he works in Wilmington, I will never see anyone else. He truly cares about the satisfaction of his clients and will work with you as long as it takes to reach your style goal. Several months ago, I was frustrated with my long hair and asked him to cut it all off... but he dug deeper and made me realize that all I really wanted to do was remove the weight not the length. I was so appreciative that he worked with me on this decision and I absolutely loved the end result. Recently, he worked with me on a partial highlight, and Ill Ive received are the most wonderful comments. If youre able to schedule an appointment with VICTOR, youre in for a treat.

Kendall is a magician. New to Wilmington I had to try various salons until I hit the jackpot at Salon Beyond Basics. All of the staff is friendly & attentive. But, Kendall is outstanding. He was able to work wonders with the perfect cut & color to meet all of my needs. Each visit has been a great experience.

Kendall and Victor did an absolute fantastic job! I came in with a hair disaster from a previous salon who didnt know what they were doing.. Kendall took his time to break down what to do with my hair to get it not only healthy, but to get it a color I would like and that we could work towards getting to the color I was aiming for. He gave me a beautiful color and hair cut! When I walked out of that salon I felt amazing! I felt like I had the most gorgeous and healthy hair! I have never been so satisfied in my life.. I walked out of Salon Beyond Basics feeling like I had just won a thousand dollars. Kendall even recommended the BEST products for my hair and now my hair feels just as amazing at home as it did when I walked out of the salon Saturday! Kendall is AMAZING!!!!!!

Had a great haircut and highlights. And Hadley at the spa is great!! I would recommend to anyone. The prices arent bad either!

If you go anywhere else, youre settling for second best. Kendall, Victor, and all the rest of the staff are simply the best there is in Wilmington.
