Drew took time to show me how to do the exercises and checked on me regularly, even with it being a full class. As an fitness novice, I appreciated the guidance tremendously. It motivates me to keep up the momentum!
I love Orangetheory Mayfaire for many reasons. First of all, the moment I arrive I am greeted with a smiling face. It is obvious the staff really love their job. Also, the environment is upbeat and the workout is always different so boredom is never a factor! It is as challenging as you make it. All the coaches are motivating and inspiring. They are supportive and will offer assistance in the weight room on proper technique which I really appreciate. I have knee issues so the option to work out on the elliptical rather than the treadmill is a key factor in getting my heart rate up that is also low impact. There are stationary bikes as another alternative. Finally, I love being able to see my orange and red zones which motivates me to keep pushing or when to take it easy. I would rate this workout as not only the best in Wilmington but also a place with the friendliest staff.
They have great coaches who bring high energy and positivity to each workout. The workouts themselves are varied and bring results. I highly recommend trying it out!

Orangetheory Wilmington helped me love exercise again! I have never felt as welcome as I do here. OTF workouts are by far more challenging and fun than anywhere else I’ve ever tried. The feedback from wearing a heart rate monitor is an excellent drive to keep pushing yourself harder. The coaches are always helpful, providing feedback, encouragement, and making you feel welcome. I’ve never been anywhere else where all the staff and coaches remember every single members’ name! It’s wild!If you are thinking about trying it…go for it! As someone who use to be fairly gym adverse after having three children, I now look forward to my early mornings at OTF. One of the other MANY reasons I love this place is that it can be scaled to any fitness level. I was 6 weeks postpartum after my third baby and years away from a gym when I joined. And my husband who was a committed CrossFit fanatic left his gym to come to OTF Mayfaire after his first class!
After struggling through the last year of various at-home workouts (or attempts to workout), OTF is just what I needed to get my fitness goals back on track. Before my first class I was intimidated by the idea of an OTF workout, but OTF is very inclusive - there are people of all ages and fitness levels in each class. The workouts can be tailored to any fitness level and the coaches are always ready to address individual needs or concerns. I continue to be impressed by the variation in workouts. The OTF program incorporates challenges and benchmarks, which are great tools for assessing individual growth.The coaches and staff at Mayfaire are great. The coaches give tips to improve form, and know when to push you to that next level. The staff have been helpful with all of my questions and quickly addressed any issues with scheduling, etc. It says a lot when coaches and staff know most members by name!

I have been at OTF Wilmington since they opened in 2016. It is one of my favorite places to be. Everyone there is kind, welcoming and encouraging. I always leave feeling better physically and emotionally then I did when I walked in. Coaches Olivia and Drew are the best. They push you in a way that is motivating and not discouraging. Somehow they have the same inspiring energy at 5 am and 5 pm. Olivia constantly reminds you of the mental component of the workout and how important your thoughts about yourself are. Drew is there to help you push your physical limits and conquer the aspects of the workout that seem impossible. I love this place and I tell everyone I know about it!
I can’t say enough positive things about this place! The minute you walk in you are greeted by name and everyone is so friendly. The coaches are fantastic! It’s like having personal trainers in a group setting. They are always encouraging, checking form, and motivating us to do our best. Coaches Liv and Drew are so helpful and positive and they definitely don’t mind giving you a push when they see you can do more! I would recommend this gym to anyone!!
For a first class at Orange Theory, I found myself challenged and motivated by those around me, and especially the coach of the class, Erica Davis. Her engagement and encouragement kept me on track for a quality and fun workout. A lot of the things we did in the class were new to me, but Erica broke them down to me on a level where I could understand and didnt feel overwhelmed. She was able to keep up a highly energetic atmosphere throughout the whole session while keeping everyone focused and determined to work hard.I recommend Orange Theory (and specifically Erica!) for anyone looking to get some good exercise and a challenge.

I did complimentary 1st class in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. Love the staff and coaches at Mayfaire location. Always friendly, always helpful, always greet me by first name. All the coaches are great. Coach Drew pushes just hard enough! Coach Liv always knows when to offer words of encouragement. Covid 19 protocols are rigid and I feel well protected in the studio. Thanks for all you do!
Best coaches and work out in Wilmington. You definitely get your sweats worth here. Not gonna lie was turned off at first by the class/coach format. But after my first week I dont see myself going back to a traditional gym.
Best workout class! Coach Liv is a great coach and always motivates me to push myself. Every time I finish a workout at Orange Theory, I feel unbelievable. I’m always thankful for the staff at OT for helping me better myself one class as a time!

Ive been going here for 2.5 yrs and the staff and coaches are great. If you are looking for a very active full body 60 minute workout definitely recommend. Also for covid they have very specific protocols and limit movement to keep proper social distancing.

Ive been going to Orangetheory for years and it is hands down the only fitness regime I’ve been able to consistently stick with. OTF in Mayfair is an awesome studio and coach Drew is a great representation of the brand. He supports you throughout the workouts and corrects your form to make sure your getting the most out of the workout without hurting yourself.The studio has gone so far above and beyond as far as cleanliness standards in order to be able to reopen after the height of COVID. The classes are smaller to allow for social distancing (and more personal instruction) and masks are worn during transitions . I have never felt uncomfortable or concerned during a workout and in fact, getting regular workouts in has really helped to improve my mood during this truly depressing year.I can’t thank them enough for what they do!
OTF is hands down the best gym around here. The way that they TRULY care about their customers, results, and know everyone by name makes you feel ready to kill the workout. I am also blown away with how they have handled COVID-19. I feel safe there every time I go to work out. They have gone above and beyond to do the socially responsible thing during the time of this pandemic. Waking up for a 7:15 class everyday is a struggle, but having Coach Liv or Coach Drew there to push you to that next level surely does help. I highly recommend this science based work out to start achieving your goals!
Addicted since the first workout! Loved it so much we got up at 4am and drove 25 mins and have been members since 2016! The atmosphere is always fun and we love the orange lights :) Since COVID Coach Olivia has kept us moving and laughing “look ma no hands!” Definitely highly recommend this gym!!!Much Love- Tabitha and Cassie
I have been a member at this location since it opened. The coaching and studio staff are fantastic, with a special shout-out to head coach Liv, coach Drew and the studio manager, Ashtyn. Since the studio reopened after the COVID-19 shutdown, the cleaning protocols and safety measures have been top notch and the workouts are challenging and fun. The staff is clearly committed to all of our well being and health.

If you want a really nice workout where you do not need to think what part of the body or how often to do anything- Orangetheory Fitness is for you. The Coaches are absolutely awesome. You will find none better than Coach Olivia Smith. She is fun and full of motivation. If you feel something is too hard to do, she will quickly show you an alternate solution and work you up from there. Olivia is always checking your form to make sure you are not causing injury to yourself. Thanks Coach Olivia. Coach Drew and Coach Erica are also very awesome but new to me. I am sure I will grow to love them as much as I do Coach Olivia.

The whole staff is super freindly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Even pre-covid, I have felt safe and confident that I was exercising in a clean and sanitized environment. Coach Liv really knows how to work a room and spreads herself around, ensuring everyone gets the one on one instruction they need.
First of all...Coach Liv IS THE BEST PERSON AND COACH EVER!!Prior to covid: this place was awesome, as a retired athlete, the coaches have been very accommodating and helpful! I have “enjoyed” every workout I’ve done here.Covid: I feel very safe despite covid looming in the shadows of life... the gym staff are taking all the right precautions as well as cleaning standards and rotation safety.It’s a totally judgement free zone, everyone is super supportive! Don’t understand a workout or your stats? They will explain everything to you!Would highly recommend a session here, with any coach, but especially Olivia!! (Double shout out =double points for you right?!)

I finally decided to try orangetheory, and I LOVE IT! I walk out of every class feeling accomplished, energized, happy, healthy, focused, etc. Ive only been going a couple of weeks and Im already seeing results that previously took me months to accomplish at other gyms. The coaches are fantastic and incredibly helpful. Its an intense high energy workout that just about anyone can do, if you just show up!

I have been a member at OTF since 2016. It is addictive in a good way and I love not knowing what the workout is going to be when I walk in. They are always varied and always challenging. You will NEVER see the same one twice. I also love the atmosphere, the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful and the vibe is very positive and not at all competitive. The coaches are professional and encouraging. If you havent tried it I highly recommend. All fitness levels are welcome and can get something from the workouts.
I’ve been coming to this studio for about a month and I love it! Everyone has been really nice and the classes are always challenging. All the coaches especially Olivia and Nicole who coach the 7:10 morning classes are amazing and super motivating!
Its so easy to track and see improvement. I always leave feeling like I have had a fantastic workout. Also, I love that the workouts are intense enough that I cant think about work during them - so I actually find the workouts to be quite relaxing as well!

I love that its a One Stop Shop and I get everything done in an hour. I love the fact that I lose the class if I dont use it because I would be so good at making excuses why I should not go to class in the morning. I love that the coaches meet us where were at regarding injuries. I love that I get to wear a heart rate monitor and I get to see my progress on the screen compared to others which pushes me to work harder.
The workouts are great! Theyre never the same. The coaches walk around checking on everyone making sure we are doing the exercises the correct way. They are also extremely motivating and push you to do your best. This has been the best thing I have ever done for myself.
Have really enjoyed my first few classes with Olivia! She is so motivating and pushes me just enough each class to get out of my comfort zone! Excited to start this OTF journey!
Orange Theory Fitness is NOT worth the money. I was charged $169 for the unlimited classes. then I HAD to buy the heart monitor, if you dont have a heart monitor they charge you $5 to rent one for the class. If you are late, miss a class, or have to cancel you are charged $12. When i forgot my heart monitor I was charged $12 at least 3 times because they didnt see my name on the screen and assumed I wasnt there. The workouts are fine, but nothing spectacular. Week 1 I came out feeling accomplished, but as the rest of the month went on, I realized that I could get as good or better of a workout just working out at home. I have tried for TWO months to cancel and I keep getting charged $169 a month. When i called to cancel the first time they said it was cancelled and that I had to pay for the month so I said fine whatever, but now a month later I am charged AGAIN! When I called asking for a refund since I had already cancelled, they said I didnt cancel since I didnt go in person to sign a paper saying I was cancelling, while I would have been happy to have done that last month, but no one ever mentioned I had to go sign it. So now I am out another $169 that I really could use right now! On the website it claims that its a no contract gym and you just pay month to month, if that is the case why are there cancellation fees in the first place. I should just be able to say I am not working out this month, and they shouldnt charge me. I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially if you are tight on money, because they will drain the very last penny they can out of you. DO NOT JOIN ORANGE THEORY FITNESS!
I really loved working out with one of the coaches at this orange theory. After going everyday for a month, I did see results! Unfortunately, I had lots of issues with billing...being double billed etc. This happened several times and was very frustrating, as the membership is a major financial investment. I would encourage every member to make COPIES OF EVERYTHING YOU SIGN. Otherwise, this is an entertaining, fast paced workout that makes you really sweat!
I LOVE my Orange Theory workout! Every class has a different routine so it never feels the same. The instructors are enthusiastic and motivate the class to achieve its best. Best exercise I have ever done in my life! Noticeable difference in my fitness level and body since I have been going to OT for three years now.
I signed up and have been to 3 classes this week. This place is amazing. Drew is a fantastic coach. The other participants are super friendly and helpful. There is no judgement here. The assistant manager is amazing as well. The only competition is against yourself. No workout has been the same. I love that Drew helps adjust your technique to make your workout more efficient and effective. You have nothing to lose by trying this!
My fave part are the coaches. Katie and Drew are the best! At first I was intimidated but then I saw all shapes and sizes and fitness levels. I appreciate that the coaches push me. Because if Im being honest with myself, Im going to work out at my own comfort level and I wont get any stronger. I like that the classes are different every day. Im never bored, thats for sure. I never thought Id say this, but Im addicted!

Orangetheory Fitness Wilmington is the best gym you will every belong to. Every class brings a new personal challenge and ALL of the coaches and staff are so positive, kind and supportive. OTF is my second home and I cant imagine life without it. I recommend it to EVERYONE.
Each workout truly challenges me physically but also mentally. I love the OTF vibe to always PUSH for what I want instead of settling. It inspires me, not only in the gym, but also in life to be the very best version of me.

There is not another workout out there that combines so much fitness into 1 hour. I have recommended to several and all have loved. Cannot say enough great things about OTF.
I loved how nice the club members were when I had my first session. I didnt feel like people were looking at me/my stats in a negative way. Drew in Wilmington, NC was funny, supportive & helpful! You have to be a certain personality level to be friendly and helpful so early in the morning and Drew and this group had it! I was afraid to try OTF because of the cost, but its exactly what Ive been needing and wanting. How could I say no? The work outs are challenging, but not half as confusing as some other group fitness classes in gyms where you follow an instructor through 30 different things. Clean, beautiful, spunky/happy place! You can zone out & get thru an hour and feel fantastic! The stretches at the end were also helpful, too, I often forget stretching. Im 55, 195 lbs & of intermediate fitness ability. Capable (though a bit lacking in great coordination) but never consistent, so really anyone, of any ability can do/try Orange Theory!! The class times are great, too!!
I like that I get all the fitness components I’m looking for during workouts...strength, power, and endurance. I love the motivation and atmosphere!
I love how encouraging the coaches and employees are. They really make you feel welcome before, during, and after your workout! They somehow make the workout seem fun, as intense as the workout is :)

OTH is phenomenal. I have been going for over 1.5 years and still love it. Great customer service from all staff and great, caring coaches.
I like the fact that I don’t have to decide what exercises to do. There is coach to tell you if you are doing exercises incorrectly. There is accountability because if you don’t show up you have to pay. I am motivated to compete with myself and others are watching my heart rate zone. The one frustrating thing is that my watch doesn’t always work and I will be busting my tail and I look and it says I’m in the gray zone so that is a little discouraging but I don’t know what to do about it. All in all, it is an awesome workout. I typically burn around 500 calories in the 55 minute time.JC
The coach Amie was really attentive to it being my first time in a gym & helping me get the routine; the environment of folks working out wasnt competitive or judgmental but supportive, friendly; the equipment was clean; the music was great! Im not a gym person and Orange Theory was a very different experience and Im sticking with it!
Definitely love the group workout environment, the personal trainer feedback, their cleanliness during and after workouts, and being pushed to our limits without getting hurt.
At first glance an Orangetheory workout is amazing; you have fun doing it and feel accomplished at the end of an hour. I enjoyed my first class so much that I was ready to commit to a class package when I was through.The Orangetheory rep who signed me up for my class package was friendly, however left out key information about purchasing (or renting) the heart rate monitor for tracking your progress* in class. This omission caused frustration when I showed up for my second class and found out I had to buy a heart rate monitor (the option to rent wasnt mentioned, yet again).All in all, a good work out, but the lack of transparency on all of the costs associated with enrolling and failure to disclose all of the options for participating was deceitful and misleading. I am hesitant to recommend this workout to another person as a result.*It should be noted that you dont even need to have a monitor to participate, this was also left out

My wife and I started OTF in April this year and thoroughly enjoy the workout sessions, trainers, and overall approach behind OTF. I like the environment, venue, and workout format which for whatever reason motivates my wife and I to push through uncomfortable limits almost every session even when not at 100%. Working out in the upper heart rate range undoubtedly has improved our fitness, energy level and confidence. This is coming from two 50 + year olds w/ above avg BMIS!
It is fast-paced, organized and well-instructed.
