John Paul is very knowledgeable about apple products and has the customer’s best interest in his mind (unlike Apple). He fixed my MacBook with less than 1/3 of the Apple quoted price and more importantly he provides full transparency about your case. I would recommend John’s Mac shop for everyone.

I brought in 2 Mid-2012 MacBook Pros and asked for the RAM and hard drives to be updated on a Friday. John Paul got it done by 12:00 the next day! One of the MacBooks had an X key missing, and he replaced that too, even though I forgot to mention it. It wasn’t very expensive either. My family has been going there for ages, and I recommend to anyone with a Mac problem that Apple won’t cover!!!

My MAC screen was damaged. Apple store tried to sell me more equipment. I called the MAC store and received a voicemail within 1 day. Mr. Paul was professional in all interactions and service. I had no idea this place existed! I had an issue with my trackpad and needed my computer fixed within the week because I was about to start online school. I emailed on a Friday and within THREE minutes Jean Paul responded and said I could bring my computer anytime really. I brought it in on a Tuesday afternoon and picked it up the following night. He informed me that there are some things that he can repair for less money than the Apple Store, and some repairs that he has to charge more money. I really appreciate this honesty. My 2011 MacBook Pro was not booting and the Apple store guys had given up saying that it was an outdated model. John Paul diagnosed the problem in no time and fixed it immediately. He is a very knowledgeable person and I will not hesitate to approach him for Mac related issues.

Took my slow early 2010 iMac in for a failing internal disk. He suggested replacing with solid state drive saying it would be faster. Wow! Was he right. Its like a whole new very, very fast computer. Its never worked better and boots in just seconds, everything is so fast! His prices are a bargain for the level of service and advice he provided. I was thinking of a new machine, but now I am more than happy with what I got and can see it serving well for years to come. He transferred 800 GB of my old disk to the new and every application worked. That was included in his already reasonable price, and saved me from a major migraine, I am sure. Whole experience just awesome with a smile.

Purchased(best buy) a MacBook Pro 1yr and 1 month ago for my daughter who is a senior in high school. Started having issues with it and of course no extended warranty. Had an older Mac fixed last year and he brought it back to life for my niece to use for school. John Paul does an amazing job and is truthful, which is a hard quality to find in some experts. What a great, first-time experience I recently had at The Mac Shop Inc. My livelihood depends on the use of my iMac on a daily basis, and I started experiencing major problems that looked like it might be the end of the road for my 10 year old computer. Finally, I called the shop, was able to drop it off THAT day, and described my issues/problems to John Paul, the owner. He knew instantly what the problem was, offered several options for fixing it, and told me hed work on it overnight so that I could pick it up the next day. Amazing!!! I cant recall the last time I had such a positive experience with a service/repair shop. He is very knowledgeable and clearly customer-service focused. Only regret is that I am just discovering him now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
